RP Electrics Ltd

Really happy with our ev charger install. The finish is extremely neat and tidy, and the quality of the work is excellent. Communication was great throughout

We needed to install a pair of 3pin plug sockets into an under-sink kitchen cupboard and also wanted to use the opportunity of having a knowledgeable electrician in the house to advise how to "future proof" our kitchen should we, or subsequent owners, want to install an induction hob so I called RP Electrics to come and take a look, tell us what needed to happen to enable this and then provide an estimate. Right from the moment the RP Electrics gentleman stepped over the threshold we knew we were in safe hands. His calm, methodical, systematic, unpatronising and careful assessment of how to get a new cable (aka 40 amp circuit designed to handle heavy power loads - every day is a school day and this education completely devoid of any "mansplaining") up from the fusebox (distribution board!) in the garage, through the garage ceiling, invisibly through the kitchen floor into the underside and then up to the back of the cupboard next to the cooker and hob instilled complete confidence. Gone were all the fears of a kitchen floor left riddled with visible holes like a Swiss cheese after a load of "oops, sorry, misjudged that!" failed attempts. RP Electrics also checked the wiring being used by 3 major appliances (which looked a bit flakey to the untrained eye and had me worrying that one spark and the whole house could go up in flames with a possible combined gas explosion to boot!!) was OK and, whilst it looked a bit "rough and ready", was sound (loved how he didn't charge us for something we didn't actually need, that honesty). Estimate came in in a timely fashion, work was booked in, that drilling we mentioned was executed in an AWESOME fashion and done right first time. Second distribution board installed for the heavy duty circuit so trip switch for that is all independent of the house lights, power etc. A beautiful job with the final bill matching the estimate so no "sting in the tail" of unforeseen costs. I get this is a long review, I just feel so strongly that anyone out there thinking of getting domestic or commercial electrical works done needs to know about this company!! They were brilliant, a delight to deal with from start to finish and I highly recommend.

Excellent and professional. So pleased we found R P Electrics. Highly recommended and reliable. Have done all our electrical work and EV installation. Extremely knowledgeable and reliable.

Fantastic service. Prompt email responses (even when on holiday), good quote, really lovely guy who carried out the work (electric shower installation) and very reasonable price. Highly recommend and would use them again.

RP electrics have done a lot of work at my house including laying outside electrics under a new patio as well as installing dimmer lights all across our living room and kitchen. The service has always been incredible and I would never use anyone else for any electrical work. Highly highly recommend.
