We recently had Damo from First In Electrical Services come out to install an EV charger for us after being let down by another electrician. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. He was extremely efficient and tidy throughout the job, and clearly takes pride in his work. Damo was professional and courteous, and is genuinely nice to be around. He took the time to make sure everything was done how we wanted. Communication was also excellent, with very quick response times whenever we had questions prior to install and on the day. We’re very happy with the finished installation and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again. Craig.

Damon did a great job fitting the electrics for our new kitchen which also required a new switch board. He was helpful in giving samples of light switches to choose from. We also had him fit an EV charger. We will be having him back to fit more lighting in the near future. Once all complete we received our electric certificate and building control notification promptly. Thanks Damon

We contacted First In Electrical Services to resolve the worrisome problem with our light switches, and we were so impressed that Damon came in at very short notice to get us out of trouble😬! Called Damon to hop on over and give a quote for some new electrical sockets to be installed around various rooms in the house. He was extremely polite, professional, cleaned up after himself and ensured the work got finished all on his visit. He also worked around me and my meetings to ensure downtime of power was kept to a minimum. Overall very happy with the service and would recommend for future works!

We needed some lights installing at our new home, at relatively short notice Damon of first-in electrical made time for us on a Sunday, he did a fantastic job installing several light fittings for us, he was polite, friendly and respected our property, he made sure all the installations were to our requirements. We won’t hesitate to use Damon again as more electrical work becomes necessary.

Very reliant, arrived when said. Respectful d tidied any mess up . Given informed choice when choosing appliance fit for purpose. General a nice guy

Damon is very professional and personable. He removed and replaced an extractor fan in my kitchen. When I was looking for an electrician the initial thing that impressed me was his website. Very well put together and my husband and I liked the fact he has served our country in the armed forces. I knew his work would be neat, clean and precisely done - and it was. Damon had been easy to contact and a date was arranged for the new fan. He arrived on time, with the correct parts necessary, didn’t rush and was happy to chat and answer any questions we had. We discussed alternatives to that which I had requested and he would have been ok to return the fan and supply another if I had chosen to do so. Nothing was too much bother and it felt like we had known him forever. The fan works perfectly and the mess was efficiently cleared up. Would we use First In Electrical Services again - absolutely! We have already passed his card on to friends.

Great guy who did excellent work. Very professional electrician, helpful throughout and clearly knows his trade. Highly recommend.

I am so so happy with the whole process. Damo is so friendly and helpful, he made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and needed so that I was happy with the final outcome. He explained everything to me in ‘normal’ terms so that I could understand what would be happening and kept me updated throughout. Had a few electrical problems that have been sorted in a very professional way and tidily. Also fitted outside lights. All in all a brilliant job.

With a business project that was time critical and required the electrical system integration to be completed at varying stages around the complexity of construction, including a tight and flexible timeline, we sought an electrician who had the flexibility to work around the complexities of installation at varying stages who understood our end state and the need for completion to support the business. Crucial to this was the ability to look for solutions as problems arose and the ability to work unusual hours to keep the project moving. Damon from First In Electrical Services was selected because of the faith we had in him to achieve this, and he did not disappoint, even going above and beyond to assist with some faulty equipment diagnosis during the installation to keep us on track as a business. Recently employed Damon to get us out of a hole, following less than satisfactory work from another electrician. In contrast, he was very thorough and professional. He was happy volunteer options and took us through his work upon completion. Also feel that his prices are more than reasonable. Especially for such a conscientious service.

I had this old consumer unit replaced with a brand new one and two smoke alarms and a heat alarm, all done within a week of receiving the quote and an excellent job was done. Would definitely recommend using First In Electrical Services for all your electrical jobs. Damon is a great bloke to know.

Damon responded at short notice when we’d been left with a botched and dangerous installation by a rogue trader. We are very pleased with the quality of the work Damon did to remedy the situation, and his communication was excellent as he walked us through the problems and explained the solutions he could offer. We will be happy to recommend Damon for future work with our neighbours.

We recently hired Damon Dixon to install few ceiling lights, a floodlight security camera, and some outdoor lighting around our property. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Damon Dixon was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. The ceiling lights were fitted perfectly and look fantastic. The floodlight camera was installed at the ideal height and angle, with all wiring neatly done and properly weatherproofed. Outdoor lights were positioned exactly as requested, and everything works flawlessly. He made sure to check everything thoroughly and cleaned up after the job. Highly recommend First In Electrical services for anyone looking for quality electrical work — we'll definitely use him again!

His work was quick, tidy, and he was skilled and polite to us all. Definitely someone I’d use again for a bigger job next time!

Everything worked as it should from the start. I would use Mr Dixon again should I need any electrical work carried out.

Damon is very reliable, efficient and obliging. Highly recommended.

Top-notch service from start to finish. As a capable DIYer, I started updating sockets and fittings, but the old, brittle wiring left me concerned for safety. This company provided a fair quote for a full rewire and new fuse box installation for my home in Walton and I couldn't be happier with the result. They went above and beyond, worked efficiently, and left the place spotless. Most importantly, I now have peace of mind knowing my family is safe. Highly recommended for quality work and professionalism

Fantastic work rewiring downstairs and full kitchen. Damo has gone above and beyond visiting on several occasions working around timings with other trades. Always with a smile. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. 😊

I can thoroughly recommend Damon after the work he did in re-positioning my solar inverter and home batteries. His work was quickly completed and done to a very high standard. He even responded to a query on a Sunday morning about a software glitch (not his fault) on the batteries. By Monday morning he’d contacted the inverter company and a software reset was done remotely. Excellent service!

Damon, has got to simply be the most friendly - outgoing - conscientious and professional electrician, that I've personally ever known, and had the pleasure of making a cuppa tea for.. (was only one cuppa though as he turn the power off) haha.. It would be - and certainly WILL be, my mission, to tell all I know about Damon and his services offered.. clean - tidy - on time - conscientious (as I've already stated) and professional to a fault... and a proper loverly man to boot................ conversational with some funny stories of his time in the Army.. just a really good man. Thanks for all your help today mate.. I owe you a pint or ten🍻👍🏻

First In Electrical have covered all the electrical works in our kitchen renovation project, and have been super helpful throughout. From initial contact, to (numerous) questions, and quite a few 'can you just take a look at whilst your here' additional jobs, nothing has been too much work and everything has been done to the highest standards. We couldn't recommend Damon highly enough, and he will undoubtedly be our first call for any future electrical work 😊

I don't usually bother with reviews but I feel I should for the work that Damo has carried out for us. We have just had a complete kitchen rip out and redesign with Damo doing the electrics. This involved repositioning of lights, switches, sockets and provision for the appliances. We also had our Consumer Unit and surge protection upgraded. From the initial survey visit to completion Damo has been a first rate professional and offered good advice along the way. The very detailed estimate, first fix and second fix were completed as and when promised. One or two interesting problems encountered along were resolved without issues. Thanks Damo the whole experience was a pleasure.

Damon attended our property the day after I phoned him. He was able to sort out my electrical issues very quickly. He is very polite and extremely knowledgeable taking the time to explain everything he was doing. He was very competitive with his price and we will definitely be using Damon for all our future electrical work. First class service and top man thanks Damon 👍👍

Fantastic work carried out, professional, high quality work with a great price…highly recommend.

Re-wired the kitchen with additional sockets etc. All work done to an excellent standard. Pleasant to have in the house and always on time. Definitely would recommend him.

Damon provides a first class service. He unearthed what was a potential fire hazard in our house and we trusted Damon with the full rewire in our new family home. The original wiring was a bodge job and Damon made sure everything was redone from scratch, safe and went the extra mile to ensure I know where everything is to help me continue my renovations without undoing his work. Damon was very responsive when we had questions and made extra visits when we needed him to come out. Messaged Damon about our power going out downstairs in our house, he responded very quickly about when he was next free it was as soon as the next evening he came round at 5pm. He investigated the cause of the problem very quckliy and then proceded to fix it very quickly as well. Very resonable price and very friendly and professional service.

During the kitchen installation, we discovered that our bungalow needed a complete electrical rewiring. Damo not only provided everything needed, including several assistants, but his quote was very reasonable and competitive. His team even worked the weekend to complete the work with the smallest amount of disturbance. In short, I can highly recommend Damo for any electrical issue you may have. Respect to Damon for carrying out a thorough check of the electrics and providing additional advice regarding remedial work and advice re EV charging. Damon did all this at short notice. I will be using his services in the future. Update: Damon has now ungraded meter tails and fitted a new consumer unit with provision for future expansion. I would recommend First in Electricals.

Good response, extremely tidy, explained work done. Will call Damo for all my electrical work in future. Happy to have found a local skilled worker that does not let you down. Will recommend to others.

Really pleased with the work completed, will definitely use him again.

I found First In via an ad in a local magazine and chose Damon over two other electricians that came and inspected what we wanted done. Damon installed a new fuse box and numerous sockets after running a cable from the home fuse box to the summer house we were looking to get power to. Damon was polite, attentive and never questioned anything we wanted, nor was anything too much trouble. Damon came to our property twice before the install as we had questions about what would be installed. At no point during Damon’s visits were we pressurised over any decision, nor were we put off from our plans. The workmanship was first class and carried out within one day and on a Saturday as well. I would strongly recommend Damon to anyone looking for any electrical work and will be asking him back in the future for other work we will require.

Excellent time keeping, very neat and tidy work done to insulation of plug sockets and new light and switches into a garage

Very happy customer. Very reliable and very reasonable prices. My second time using the company. Highly recommended

We were passed Damon's details by word of mouth and we were not disappointed - if I could give ten stars I would. Punctual, reliable, courteous and efficient, not only did Damon provide an excellent electrical service, but also fantastic customer service too and really went the extra mile for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending Damon to friends and family and he will definitely be my first point of call for any future electrical work. Thanks a million!

Really can’t praise enough - I get quite anxious about having to get tradesmen out but Damon was friendly, professional, courteous and did a really good job. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely use him again.

We found Damon via MyBuilder and he will be our electrician for everything going forward. We wanted sockets fitting in our garage and front room. The front room socket was a little awkward due to how our kitchen was built. Damon visited and came up with a plan straight away. The work was completed in a single morning with only the necessary disruption. The sockets are exactly where wanted them. Damon was incredibly professional and didn’t overlook the small details such as: ensuring the sockets matched our existing ones or the cabling was as subtle as possible. He was always on time, replied to messages quickly and kept us well informed. 10/10 would recommend!

I thought a good reliable electrician would be hard to find but Damon is second to none. He is reliable and reasonably priced, turning up when he said to look and price the job and also turned up when he said he would and finished the job in a fast professional manner taking great care to leave my house as he found it. I will certainly be returning to Damon at first in electrical services with no hesitation for any future electrical work I require! Thanks once again Damon!
