Called MBS at short notice on a Saturday night. He was at our front door in less than half an hour, quickly identified our problem, fixed it and fixed another issue we’d had for months with ease. Initially Mike attended to test the domestic electrics of our house. The test highlighted that both a culmination of minor informal electrical alterations carried out over many years, coupled with improved Electrical and Building Regs standards, rendered the electrical installation unsatisfactory. Given the report was detailed and the initial inspection completed by MBS without fuss, and at a reasonable cost, we invited Mike to provide a quotation for improvement works that once completed, would ensure a satisfactory electrical certificate. On receiving the price, I deemed it sensible, and Mike proceeded with the works, including a new DB, earth improvements, and contained external wiring and new lighting. We are very pleased with Mike (and Lewis's) work, and I would be very content to use MBS ELECTRICAL again. Polite, tidy, reliable, and value for money, and paperwork and certificates received on the day of completing the works. Excellent. Just what you want.
We had a small electrical problem. Mike fitted us in at short notice and gave honest and practical advice. He also fixed a minor problem at a very small cost. I would definitely use him again.
I contacted Mike after our oven/hob was causing our electrics to trip out. He was able to come out swiftly the same evening and diagnosed the problem so we had our oven and hob back in action again. Mike arrived when he said he would and was also a very pleasant chap to deal with.
