Absolutely great service from Richard. I had an issue with my EV charger. It was diagnosed, replacement unit sent and fitted all within 48 hours. Highly recommend Richard. He is courteous and thorough with his works.
I needed help with an urgent repair, and Richard came to the rescue. I called him, and he arrived within 20 minutes. He was incredibly helpful, understanding, and quickly resolved the problem, giving me complete peace of mind throughout. Richard was professional, friendly, and truly saved the day. I really honestly cannot recommend Richard and Bailey at Blackmore electrical, they fitted my car charger in April and what a fantastic job they’ve done, I was so impressed I had them return to fit an auxiliary outdoor socket for car charging. Another great job performed by Bailey. Due to a Wi-Fi router rest required (wiping the car charger) richard came out today and reprogrammed the charger within 5 minutes, amazing service and customer support from a fantastic team. I’ve found a reputable reliable company for all my electrical needs, thank you so much Richard and Bailey at Blackmore electrical I will recommend you all day long.
Absolutely recommend Blackmore Electrical services. Just purchased a hybrid and was at totally loss with trying to sort a home charger with my energy supplier so I went on line and made an enquiry with that I got call shortly after from Richard who explained what he could do and even came around to check our set up before quoting. I had an idea what the cost could be and it was within my expectation. The job was completed in a timely manner and looks very neat and tidy with the wires tucked away, so discreet my husband didn’t even notice it when he came home. Richard was so friendly and helpful would recommend for any electrical needs you may have.
Came out at less than 2 hours notice, did a quick efficient job of sorting all my light switches. Very friendly. Good local business and a very good price.

I recently had an electrical installation completed at my property by Blackmore Electrical Services. The whole process from estimate to completion was completed very efficiently and professionally to a high standard. Richard was very knowledgeable about all electrical regulations, procedures and legal requirements. I would have no hesitation in using his services or recommending him.

What can i say. We were getting a new kitchen in and needed to move some electrical items. No one remembered to check if there were sockets for new places. Phoning around we were getting no answers, not until next week, next year even. Richard was a God send, he came round the same day to look at job and came back next day to do to a degree where the kitchen fitters were able to progress and come back at a later time to finish. The pricing we were very happy with and have already discussed a future job with him…
Called as my RCD switch had tripped and couldn’t get it back on. Answered immediately and talked me through locating locating where the problem was which meant I could get the fridge freezer etc back on. Super helpful and patient with an electrical numpty like me. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again if I needed work done. Thanks a mill 😊

Richard Blackmore provided me with excellent service - his initial response was prompt and noticeably helpful and this was followed by a fair price quotation and a timely appointment date. He arrived on time, set about the work, completed it to my entire satisfaction and tidied up afterwards. We discussed a few other electrical issues around the house and having done some additional testing he offered sound advice that avoided unnecessary expense. Statutory paperwork for the original work and an invoice for the agreed amount (with no charge for the additional testing) arrived later the same day. In short, Richard attended to every aspect of the transaction with conspicuous professonalism and I recommend him accordingly. It is a real pleasure to have come across someone who provides such outstanding service.
Richard was quick to respond, assessed the job and said he can do it, but after a week no response with a quote or a date, I found this extremely unprofessional and disappointing with no response from any of my messages.
Called him twice and he called me back even it was his out of working hours. He came and checked my fuse box. He is a good man and responsible person. Highly recommended.

Richard rescued us on a Sunday when we lost all our downstairs lighting. He was able to resolve the faults and get our lights back on. We first used Blackmore Electrical services 12 years ago on our house build. He gave fantastic advise and offered ideas which was exactly what we needed at the time. Since then he has been involved in many other ventures - most of them challenging and he has always found a solution. We have recommended him to numerous other people, who have always shared our view that once you have used Blackmore Electrical services you will never need another electrician. He also only drinks water, no tea or coffee!
I contracted Richard to do a number of jobs for me, all of which were done with the upmost professionalism and high standards. He installed all of my lighting on the ground floor, in every room. The kitchen, in particular, was cumbersome as my initial electrician didn't finish the job. First fix was completed but didn't indicate where the wires for the 14 spotlights were located behind the plastered ceiling. By looking at some pictures I took by chance and a bit of creativity, Richard managed to locate the position of the wires and successfully install without any unnecessary damage. I later asked him to install lighting in our garden and we couldnt be happier with the end result! It looks fantastic with all of the wires hidden away discreetly! Excellent, competent and friendly electrician that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
