Manley Electrical

Great EV socket installation, fast response excellent job very pleased all-round !

Absolutely brilliant service from John. He recently installed air conditioning for our business and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, John was professional, reliable and really easy to deal with. The installation was carried out to a very high standard, everything was left clean and tidy, and he took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly and that we knew how to use the system. It’s made a huge difference to our workspace already. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John Manley Electrician to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable electrician who takes real pride in his work. Thanks again John, fantastic job!

John has done several jobs of varying size for us over the years. We like that he listens carefully before staring jobs often troubleshooting in advance things we may not have thought of usually with a couple of different creative suggestions. John takes pride in practical, fit for purpose work finished neatly and to a high standard. We were unlucky and had a faulty light, he replaced the unit free of charge without us having to go to the bother of contact the manufacturer.

Highly recommend. Have used Manley Electrical several times in last few years from inspecting the installation of PVs to most recently installing A/C. Consistently high standards of workmanship, professionalism, tidy and great communication. No qualms about recommending.

John was very professional, he answered all my questions and explained what I needed. He arrived on time and was very neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him if you want a friendly professional service. I will be using John again if I need any other electrical work doing. Reasonable price too. Great job.

Very impressed with all the work John did fitting aircon in our bedroom. Obviously very competent and knowledgeable and would recommend him very highly.

had a great experience with Manley Electrcal. They upgraded our old electrical box quickly and professionally. They showed up on time, explained the whole process clearly, and kept the work area very neat. Our new panel looks organized and works perfectly. Highly recommend them for any home electrical jobs.

Have now engaged John for a number of jobs. Always a very good experience from first point of contact with good communication throughout. Had some outside lights that needed to be fitted /replaced. Reasonable quote, and work carried out to a high standard and neat and tidy. Had to raise an issue in the evening but the response to the issue was great, returning first thing the next day to rectify which was done with no issue, the response to rectifying the problem was 1st class and refreshing. Have since had more outside electrical work and solar & battery storage installed by John & Colm. Again the help, advice, workmanship, communication and installation has been top notch. I’d recommend anyone needing electrical work doing to contact John.

Very pleased with Manley Electrical, came and done the job quickly and efficiently, very polite man and cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely use again for all my electrical problems.

Top job today by Colm at Manley Electrics today. Thanks very much!

John and Colin did a great job with my installation. They installed a new distribution panel and then an air conditioning system that cools the lounge and main bedroom. They were always on time. Left everything clean and tidy and I can’t recommend them enough.

Efficient and friendly

Very professional and friendly lot with fast response times. They did an electrical inspection on the property and fitted a ceiling fan for us. Very considerate of us working from home with the power being off and careful with our indoor cats and open doors - very appreciated. Would recommend

John and his team did a great job in very challenging circumstances with the heat and supply chain challenges. The initial impact of the air con installation has been great and we are sure it will continue to be a great investment. Manley are top of our list for electrics services.

John, at “Manley Electrical” has recently competitively quoted and then neatly fitted two split wall mounted air conditioning units for me, in my lounge and bedroom, just before the recent heat-waves. Amazing! The installation was professionally fitted, in the time quoted, and John was a very competent, friendly, trustworthy and helpful contractor! I . He set up the controllers and wireless connection to the A/C units to allow easy adjustment from my I-phone! We are so happy we made this decision to improve our home environment, and we can now quickly and quietly cool both rooms! (-The units also act as heat pumps to heat rooms in the winter!) Manley electrical have recently also replaced and updated my sister’s, Consumer Unit, and carried out an Electrical Installation Condition report and supplied and fitted additional socket outlets and external lighting for her. I am very happy to recommend “Manley Electrical”.

Excellent service, very prompt quote, reasonable price. Very quick to be installed, communication was excellent always kept well informed, work was carried out effectively. John was great very knowledgeable, installed two air conditioning units, all done in two days. Highly recommend Manley Electrical.

I would highly recommend John as an electrician.. he has done a lot of work in my house and my family’s and friends homes.. he’s very experienced and knowledgeable and you can always trust him..

Prompt, tidy and reliable, they sorted our faulty kitchen lights without fuss. The electrician explained everything clearly, turned up on time and left the place spotless. Nearly perfect service, just a small delay in getting booked in. Would happily use them again.

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my electrics! John is very reliable, efficient & trustworthy. Definitely recommend!

Manley Electrical did an excellent job installing our solar panels and batteries. They worked seamlessly alongside Two Hammers as part of our roof replacement, placing the panels directly into the roof, and the whole process was smooth and well-coordinated. The team was professional, reliable, and offered good value for money. Everything was clearly explained, and the quality of the work really shows. I’d highly recommend them — in fact, I already have!

I lucked upon John when first moving into a new property 6 years ago. What started as moving two sockets has grown into multiple light fitting, a bit of rewiring, a replacement consumer unit and a full solar and battery system all with full documentation, sign off and warranties. Any issues, of which there has been very little, John has always been available on the phone or via text and has always been fast to sort. Have recommended him to multiple family and friends with the feedback always being the same. We will certainly be continuing to call John for any further electrical work.

John and his team have just completed installing a Solar system and other electrical works for us. Their work is of a high standard, we were kept informed of progress throughout the project. All the team who came on site where polite, courteous and very hard working, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend John for any electrical and solar installations works you require.

We couldn’t recommend Manley Electrical highly enough. So far since August 2025 to March 2026 we have used this firm a significant amount of times. Our house needed a mixture of smaller and more significant works done. We called on Manley Electrical on separate occasions, for example adding sockets, ceiling spot lights, external sockets for power and fitting heating units as well as fitting a new consumer unit. We haven’t finished yet! On every occasion John and /or Colm arrived on time, listened to what we needed, offered thoughtful suggestion, kept us informed of what and why things were being completed. They are tidy, kind and care about what they do. Pricing is fair and transparent. Great communication throughout each touchpoint.

I can honestly say that an excellent job was done when fitting a new outside socket. The electrician was very approachable and friendly. He tidied up as he went along and left everything neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

John was brilliant on the kitchen wiring I asked him to have a look at. It wasn't possible to give a fixed price for the work due to the hidden nature of what needed to be done, John gave great advice on several aspects and I was happy to trust his judgement on what and how to tackle the work. The work itself was carried out diligently and I am very happy with the end result. John was very professional and I would turn to him again for any further electrical work, I honestly don't think you could ask for a better service.

First used John to debug a fault with our solar panels not charging and was impressed with everything he did, from taking his shoes off as he came through the front door to his ability to complete the task faultlessly. This led to him being asked back to sort out other items. I think the greatest compliment that can be given is my wife’s trust in leaving him alone in our house whilst both of us went out. Totally trustworthy and absolutely competent!! Would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone
