Reviewers of Skilled Electrical & IT mostly describe Ismail as knowledgeable, professional and friendly, with several praising his clear communication and tidy work. Several reviewers say he handled jobs such as replacing sockets, lights, a fuse box and consumer units, and one reports an electrical fault fixed within a day. One reviewer says he was rude. Two reviews describe work with his son, and one landlord reports using him for nearly four years. One reviewer mentions a price that a second reviewer calls fair, while another reports a previous electrician overcharged them.
Excellent service! Ismail is a very knowledgeable, professional, and reliable electrician. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely use his services again.
Ismail is lovely, and knows exactly what he’s doing.
It can be difficult to find a contractor who is willing to take on smaller jobs, so I was really pleased when Ismail responded to my advert. He was undertaking a larger job in a nearby town and said he could fit in some smaller jobs during the day. I had a few jobs that had built up over a few months, and Ismail replaced a double plug socket, a wall light and the main ceiling light in the kitchen. He also spent time fault-finding around the sensor lights in the kitchen. While he was here, Ismail noticed that the lights underneath the extractor fan weren’t working. He showed me which bulbs I needed and explained how to replace them myself, which was really helpful. He was an absolute find! Very thorough, trustworthy and clearly takes pride in his work. I will definitely be using Ismail again. Thank you so much, Ismail! 😊
Quick service and very professional. Nice guy too!
Ismail did a fantastic job getting my electric hob up and running despite a challenging repair. Before booking him, I had another electrician come out who completely ripped me off without even fixing the issue. A call out of £47 and just fault finding £249, does that even make sense!! This is after coming from a 3-month overseas trip, jet-lagged, money wise and energy wise absolutely drained. In this scenario, Ismail was a breath of fresh air. From the initial booking right through to completion, the communication was excellent; he kept me fully informed of his arrival time. He gave me a very reasonable quote and stuck to it, even though the job took over two hours to resolve. I was incredibly impressed by his technical knowledge, passion, and commitment towards his profession and a positive outlook towards life. A truly genuine bloke who treats his customers not as numbers but people needing support, completely removing the fear of being overcharged. Ismail is now my official go-to electrician, and I recommend him 100%
Excellent service! What I loved about Ismail is that he is clear, honest and punctual. There is no complicated, hidden, small letters which makes communication really easy. The final result was also of excellent quality👌 and it was a relatively big job (replacing our fuse box plus some other smaller tasks). Definitely recommend Skilled Electrical!
Did the job quickly and professionally on a Sunday - he was in the neighbours house doing a job and jumped in! He earned his kebab!!
Ismail and his son were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We had an electrical issue that left us without power, and they came out within just a couple of hours to get everything back up and running. They then went above and beyond by returning on their day off to fit a new consumer unit. The quality of their work was excellent, and everything was completed to a very high standard. Throughout the whole process, Ismail and his son explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure we understood exactly what was being done. They were friendly, professional, reliable, and genuinely cared about doing the job properly. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a trustworthy electrician who provides excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service, look no further. Thank you again!
Ismail and his son did an outstanding job replacing our consumer unit in the garden office, very knowledgeable and thorough. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
Fantastic guy. Knowledgeable, reasonable and great personality. Will use him again
Very professional service. I would highly recommend.
Ismail A Mohammed was incredibly rude.
Ismail was amazing, super quick to contact me and gave a very reasonable quote, better than I had received from other providers . He’s obviously very knowledgeable and highly experienced, he thoroughly explained everything and arranged for EICR and remedial work very quickly and provided the certificate within a number of hours. Contacted me through out the works to keep me in the loop and consult me about any decisions. I would highly recommend him for any electrical concerns and will definitely be contacting him again for any future repairs.
Professional and Gentleman with good customer communication
Helped problem solve my requirements and install a power outlet for me. Gentleman craftsman.
Ismail responded rapidly to our call. Assisted by his son he did an excellent job investigating and diagnosing the problem and then fixing it. Our failed electrical circuit was fully restored within less than 24 hours. We have no hesitation in recommending him enthusiastically.
Very professional! Polite, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful Extremely reliable, clean worker, goes over the call of duty, lovely gentleman would recommend him without hesitation
