Outstanding service from start to finish! Finding a reliable electrician in Leicester can be tough, but Adam delivered exceptional quality work on time and strictly to standard. He handles everything professionally and mentioned he covers all of Leicestershire and the East Midlands for regular clients. Whether you need a full rewire, consumer unit upgrade, EICR inspection, or emergency electrical work, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Definitely recommending to all my friends and family!

Contracted Adam for an emergency call out for my mum due to heavy rainfall triggering the alarm system. He came out as soon as he was able to and managed to solve the issue promptly. Adam kept to his word with timings and worked efficiently. Highly recommend.

As with others on here, a truly top notch job all around... I explained my plans WRT battery / solar install on summer house (I'm doing most of that, but needed him to know what end point was), discussed options and agreed a plan... So, replaced circa 50/60yr old baker lite fuse box and mass of wiring with a modern consumer unit with RCDs, and a RCBO (as required) to connect to battery smart meter for tie-back (feed in) to my house circuit... Was amazed they made things as tidy as they did, install went fine (I planned for day of power off with charged batteries, power banks, etc., as work from home), and very pleased with end result, would post photos if I could, as before and after are night and day! Courteous, communicative, considerate, great work and a good price for that standard... Came in a little over plan, but was happy considering extra work required... 3 of them spent 2 hours testing more or less every socket / light fitting in my house the following day, very re-assured that everything is now (mostly, 100 year old house!) is now up to code... Talked me though things I might consider going forward (weak spots), but was in no way pushy to drive up more business, which I appreciated... Probably the best experience I've had with a contractor in the 12 years I've been in this house, can't recommend enough.. Honest review...

I can’t recommend 786 Electricals Ltd enough. It is always such a relief to find a reliable team right here on your doorstep. Sometimes you worry you'll end up with an electrician from way outside the area, but it’s so much better having someone local in Leicester and Leicestershire. They are definitely our "go-to" local electricians now and it's great to know there's someone "near me" that I can actually trust for future work. We first used them for an emergency service call-out, which was a total lifesaver. It cost £75, and I was seriously impressed that the problem was fully diagnosed and resolved within the first hour. It’s rare to find someone who shows up exactly when they say they will and gets straight to the point. Since that first visit, we’ve had them back for several larger projects across the house. They recently handled our Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for £180, which was incredibly thorough and gave us real peace of mind. We also went ahead with a consumer unit upgrade for £750; the quality of the installation was worth every penny—neat, modern, and fully up to code. Beyond the big stuff, they’ve also helped with general electrical inspection, testing, and various fault-finding tasks in the past. Every single time, the team has been professional, tidy, and easy to deal with. We are very much happy with the service and will definitely be recommending them to everyone in the Leicester area for any electrical works!

Adam is an absolute Hero. I'm an Electrician myself, I was called out to a family members house at 10pm on a Saturday as they had lost all power. I diagnosed the fault as a faulty Main Switch of an obsolete brand. I managed to get power on but knew it wouldnt last and didn't want to leave them without power or it potentially getting worse or causing a fire. I rang around all the electricians I could find on Google with one company trying to mess me around and charge a ridiculous price than in a 5 minute conversation went from £100 to £150 then £170 and finally £220. I called Adam who replied to me within a few minutes and we brainstormed some ideas. We knew it ideally needed the Fuse Board changing although Adam couldn't do it he offered to supply me the kit to do it. Unfortunately I didnt have the tools as I only went with some hand tools and a tester. I asked if he had any Main Switches that might fit as a temporary measure just to get them through the weekend (understandably Adam wasn't keen on the idea as this shouldn't be done) but as I was taking the liability he offered that I could drive to his house and see if he had anything that might work. 10 minutes later I was there and he had dug out a few options from his van. One of them looked like it would work. He didnt try to overcharge me and just said pay me what you want. I only had £40 cash on me and he accepted no questions. If i had more I would have happily given him more. He went above and beyond to help me for little reward and from speaking to him I can tell he knows what he's talking about, has pride in what he does and does things right. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Adam was of really great help and service. He did beyond what a regular service provider would do. Kept the session really friendly, different from the usual quiet service time from other handymen. He really made me happy with the result of the fix as well.

These guys were very profesion and accomodation. They put a new socket in to hard wire a new oven for us. We had to cancel the first time due to a damaged delivery from the supplier. They were able to move the date and rearrange the works with no bother. They kept the place clean and tidy. On completion of works we were issued the small works electrical test certificate promptly. This can take ages from some contractors. Definitely use them again.

Needed some help due to our alarm malfunctioning at 11pm on a Sunday night. They came out quickly (within about 20 minutes), and a really friendly and helpful electrician and sort the issue. Stayed to make sure it was fully resolved and gave good advice on how to avoid issue in the future. If I needed an electrician they would now be the first place I would call. Thanks for the help!

My fuse box was playing up and tripping for almost a week. Upon re switching it bsck on it had sparks coming out. This was ofcourse dangerous. Searching for an electrician i was getting fobbed off by a few. I then called 786 electricals and the team came withing 2 hours of my call. Adam and Saj checked the fuse box and immediately pointed out that the wires were burnt out and sparks were coming out. It was dangerous. I opted to get brand new blouse box fit in. On short notice both adam and saj cracked on with the job spending around 6 hours completing the job. Top to bottom tested all my switched and organised all the switches. Originally the old fuse box was a botch job but these guys reversed everything. They took their time and took no short cuts checking each and every plug and also doing tests to ensure compliance and accuracy. On the same day the job was completed to a very high standard. I can't thank the lads enough as it resolved what was a stressful situation. If you want a reliable trustworthy and honest electrician these guys are the ones. They are friendly and straightforward without messing you with price. Will carry out quality work. I will now only go to these lads for and electrical work that I need

786 Electricals were tasked with replacing a faulty shower unit. They faced a couple of problems (due to the way the building is) and were able to resolve instantly due to their vast knowledge and expertise. These guys can customise a solution for anyone! Adam and Jim were very professional and helpful. They were able to explain what was going on in layman's term which is a quality a lot of technicians lack. After installing the new shower, they checked thoroughly to make sure everything was safe, fully tested the appliance to make sure it's functional and adjusted where necessary. Adam was perfect, Came out to sort an issue with an electric panel switch, Also found other problems and explained why some set ups in my house were wrong and called out western power to do repairs/upgrades and stayed with me until hey turned up even though his part was finished. Would highly recommend cost they will look after you.

Needed Landlord certification but consumer unit was on recall list and bathroom light needed replacement. We lost power to half of the house due to a failed RCD. Adam diagnosed the problem in the morning, managed to track down the rare replacement RCD after some persistent phoning around (ordering it from Burton in the end) and had it fitted later that evening. He clearly takes pride in what he does and takes ownership in solving problems for his customers so they can return to normality as soon as possible. A good job, well done, quickly and for a fair price. Recommended.

Called after 8pm on Saturday night, in urgency as we had an electrical fault. Adam picked up the call and turned up in 20 minutes. My kids were asleep and he worked in such a way that none of them got disturbed. To identify and fix the problem he’s been up and down the house several times and very quietly. I cannot express my gratitude to Adam and his team for his work on my house. There was an issue with the oven in which the fuse box kept switching off as I attempted to use this, however when they arrived at 5pm they found a massive issue with the fuse box and the power was completely gone. Adam felt inclined to delay fixing this, knowing he had to go out and get the appropriate part and come back to fix it all evening. They worked tirelessly till 12:15am and were really nice, pleasant guys who did their best for me in a difficult situation. Adam did a great job explaining the process and any safety issues. They provided excellent service and sacrifice doing a difficult job in pitch black! Despite the time they also took their time in order to deliver real quality work, for which I ma very grateful for. I cannot recommend them enough; they were brilliant!

Wow! Im the first to complain about poor service, especially from tradesman so I thought it only right to write a review about these guys. I need a new electric box fitted urgently and not only did they manage to do it the same day (3.5 hours work!) but they were £150 cheaper than other quotes. To top it off the main guy was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the guys that worked at our house were unbelievable, they were polite, tidy and even took delivery of a number of parcels for me. I certainly will not be using any other company for any electric issues going forward. Thanks guys, a job very well done!
