MAElec Ltd

Matt and his team installed a myenergi libbi battery system for me. From site survey to install they were punctual, tidy, answered any questions asked and gave an in-depth demonstration on how it all works. They listened to any concerns I had and suggestions I made. Being an electrician and an electrical site manager, I can and do highly recommend MAElec for any installation especially renewables, home battery and EV installations.

We’ve just had a solar panel and battery system installed by MAElec, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From the initial consultation through to the final installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding – everything has been installed neatly and to a very high standard, and they took the time to explain how the system works and answer all of our questions. They were punctual, tidy, and clearly take real pride in their work. If you’re considering solar, batteries, EV charging or any electrical work, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MAElec. A fantastic company delivering first-class service. Thank you!

MAElec have successfully completed many diverse jobs for us, demonstrating broad and deep skills, knowledge and understanding. They have tackled the common electrical tasks like replacement of light fittings and switches. But also the less common tasks. They added a battery to our Solar PV system, replaced MCB’s with RCBO’s on our consumer unit (to eliminate RCD tripping) and performed a very thorough EICR on our old bungalow. The greatest quality of the team is their tenacity and perseverance to resolve issues that had defeated other electricians in the 6 years since we moved in. For example, we inherited an armoured cable in the garden but only MAElec found where it entered the building which means we can now use it. They made an external PIR floodlight on a lamppost work reliably for the first time. They found a light switch that was not working due to incorrect wiring, and they discovered consumer units MCB’s incorrectly labelled, explaining why our TV amplifier never worked. The team of amiable electricians worked hard, achieved everything they were asked to do, and they always kept us in the loop. They are now our first choice for doing any electrical or Solar PV work.

A company that was recommended, I am pleased that I made contact as all was 100% satisfactory. Time schedule, working ability and account received for lighting instillation all very much pleasing. In future my first call for any electrical work - Thankyou MAElec.

Matt helped us out with a no electricity crisis post-Christmas, post-storm on night of 27th December - sorted the problem straight away the next morning. He was actually on holiday, but still came out. Such a star!!
