I was recommended to JEC by Cleevely Electric Vehicle after buying my first EV. I decided to have an EV charger installed. The whole process was smooth. Donna was great at keeping me up to date and helping with the government grant. The installation was perfect. My house layout is a bit awkward but the installation guy was a pro. Installed within a couple of hours and then was provided a demo on how to use the new equipment. 5 star service. Very happy with the result. Very rare to find such professional service these days. Glad I went with JEC.

JEC Electrical and all their staff provide excellent and customer focused service. Donna Jones dealt with our query following problems with the cut-out switch for our electric car recharging point. She went out of her way to urgently fit in the work into their busy schedule, and kept us informed about the exact time the works would be undertaken. JEC Electrical installed our VCHRGD 7 Pro ev charger yesterday. We are very happy with the install. Fergus arrived on time, was polite and friendly. He completed the install very neatly according to our position and wire routing requests. After reading the many complaints about contractors used by the big electricity suppliers, we are very glad that we opted for a local specialist.

JEC was recommended me to and I wasn't disappointed. From the photos I supplied they identified a potential issue with my mains supply which hadn't been picked up by electlrcitity provider or 3 previous electricans when I had work done. They notified national grid who fixed the problem free of charge. The installation was painless and the engineer cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend JEC.

Highly recommend JEC Electrical, they have been amazing! We needed an electric car charger fitting so contacted our electricity supplier thinking it would be easy as we already had power in our garage, however they wouldn’t entertain the idea of using that supply and were insisting on us having a new power supply added which would mean burying the cable under the garden, however I filled in the online survey with JEC and within the hour Donna had replied, we had several email exchanges and a phone call when Donna confirmed we could use the power supply already in our garage - this was a huge relief! Donna really was amazing, I had so many questions and she happily answered them all. Within a couple of weeks - there were earlier appointments but we needed a certain day - the electrician arrived to fit the charger, he was polite and helpful, the job was done within a couple of hours, and the area left clean and tidy upon completion. He explained how to set up the charger and how to connect to my electricity provider. Overall we are really happy with the charger and will happily recommend JEC. 😊

Having requested estimates from 6 suppliers, for the installation of 3 EV charging points, 2 didn’t reply and the 4 others each offered very different ideas and prices. Some didn’t consider the visual impact to our 400 year old property, but JEC certainly did. From beginning to end, the installation was professional and looks great. Rich and Fergus installed the three EV chargers, keeping me informed throughout, with Donna managing all of the pre-installation surveys and contractual/financials. I highly recommend JEC Electrical. A first class job !

One of the more confusing aspects of buying an EV is how to charge it at home. Our garage is not connected to our house, and is 30 metres from the consumer unit in our house. We'd been told by an electrician (incorrectly) that there wasn't enough power in the garage for an EV charger. Fortunately JEC Electricals told us this information was incorrect, and after a few phone calls to elicit information from us, was able to install a charger on the wall of our garage. It is possible to run our specific charger at 3.5 kW instead of the more usual 7kW owing to the power supply to our garage. This means we still get a reasonable charge to our EV, sufficient to charge it around 50% overnight, which is enough for our needs with a small EV, and much safer than using a "granny charger". The installation went smoothly and the electrician explained everything clearly, and left the site clean and tidy. He showed us how to set up an app to time the charging window for our off-peak electricity tariff and checked we knew how to plug in, and unplug the charger. I'd recommend JEC Electricals to anyone who has bought an EV and needs a home charger.

Contacted JEC while waiting for delivery of a new car, the team were able to talk me through what I may need, quick and efficient to get me booked in, very simple form to complete for them to price and plan the work, Fergus had it all finished in a morning, he then set it all up to link on our WiFi, set the app up for us and finally left the area spotless. From first to last JEC management of the project was excellent. Work carried out as scheduled and the guys who did the fitting couldn't have taken more trouble to make sure the placement met my needs and explained it's operation clearly with appropriate detail. No hesitation in recommending JEC to supply and install a charge point.

Great service, Rich came early as my old car had sold far quicker than I expected so had to collect EV early. EV charger fitted very smartly. Chatted about aesthetic of where to place charger and route cable as was 22 meters from the power supply. Took supply from meter box so no damage within the home but probably more work for Rich. Had to go around the side of my house, through garden along garage wall and to parking space. Rich took real trouble to burry the armoured cable so is out of view and ran very neatly along side of garage. The connection to supply is very tidy. Would recommend calling Donna or Rich to get an EV charger fitted. My Mrs is a perfectionist and hates untidy work. She thinks the work is very good and Rich cleaned up after himself so she was/is happy ( I had to leave for work so only chatted through what I wanted and then left)

Rich and the team at JEC Electrical have supported me with a number of installs personally for myself, family and friends. In addition the team have supported us commercially, installing a 200Amp 3-phase supply and several chargepoints for employee and fleet use. All the work has been faultless, compliant and never too much trouble.

JEC fitted a car charger for me. I spoke to Rich over the phone who was great at helping me get in touch with Western Power who needed to sort out my looped supply before my car charger was installed. I also spoke to Donna over the phone who was very helpful in getting my installation arranged. The installation itself was done professionally and efficiently, didn’t take long at all and everything about the charger was clearly explained. I’m really happy with my charger and thanks to all involved for doing a fantastic job.

Can not thank Richard and his team enough, we were provisionally quoted 4 weeks for an electric charging point At home. Richard called to say he had seen the household was made up of an NHS worker and Key worker and made special efforts to arrange The point to be fitted in 4 days!
