AFS Property Services Ltd T/A AFS Electrical Services installed a light fitting and handled some minor repairs in one reviewer's home, with the work reported as neat and tidy and the small mess cleared up. Another reviewer said Fraser's EICR report was thorough and clearly explained, while a third described a house electrical repair as professional, with the electrician arriving on time and being polite. Smoke and heat alarm installations were reported in several reviews, including work carried out promptly and a report of no problems after fitting connected detectors; one reviewer said the job was tidy and they felt their home met the Scottish legislation. A total flat rewire was described as an excellent job with great care taken, and a commercial warehouse installation as professional and punctual and completed to a high standard. The only criticism was brief: one reviewer gave a four-star rating and said only that the service was good, without giving any detail.
AFS recently returned to swap an another light in our hall (to match the one they recently installed on our landing). As usual, the work was neat & tidy and what little mess they made was cleared up. They also carried out a couple of other minor repairs in the house & garden while they were here. We've been using these electricians for various homes in Glasgow over the years, and will continue to do so.
Fraser carried out an EICR on my flat and I was very impressed with how thorough and professional he was. He took the time to explain his findings clearly and answered every question I had, making the report easy to understand. I really appreciated his patience and practical advice throughout.
Quick, friendly, and the invoice didn't ruin my day. No problems answering my stupid questions either.
I booked AFS Electrical after looking for electricians in Glasgow to come and fix some issues with my house electrics, they quoted a fair hourly rate and advised of the approx cost for the job, they arrived on time, were very polite and carried out the works in a very professional way, I would have no hesitation in booking AFS electrical again should I have any further issues
AFS completed electrical and lighting installation for our new commercial warehosue. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Professional, punctual and the work was completed to a very high standard. We will be contacting AFS for any future work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have electrical work carried out.
Fantastic service from start to finish. The work carried out was perfect. Highly recommended.
Having looked of r a reliable electical service for years we found it in AFS.
Great service overall. Good communication and info from initial survey. Very neat professional job. Dealt with an unexpected faulty switch and loose socket at the same time. Would be very happy to recommend.
Brilliant service, we had a very strange problem with our shower cutting out and we felt electricity through our bathroom sink tap! Having a young daughter at home we started to worry there was a serious problem. After a lot of investigation ( including some detective work with a voltage pen by us) Stuart found the issue and resolved it. Great job and thank you for alleviating major anxiety on our side! I am also enjoying my new voltage pen.
A thoroughly professional service. I would recommend AFS to anyone.
AFS Electrical Services supplied and fitted interlinked smoke and heat alarms along with a ceiling mounted CO monitor for us. The job was very tidy and professional and we have great confidence that our home is now fully compliant with the new Scottish legislation. Great job!
We have recently used AFS Electrical to instal Scottish government legal smoke, heat and co2 monitors. Graham the installer arrived on time quoted and was very efficient. Would recommend AFS to anyone and will use them again in the future.
I was looking for new smoke alarm systems as per the new Scottish law requirements for my flat and got a prompt response from Fraser and installation was done the day after my contact. Good price for the alarm system and installation.
Installed AICO smoke, heat, and fire detectors connected by radio to an AICO Gateway device. It worked immediately. PLEASED!
Would highly recommend AFS, and am about to contact them again regarding more work. AFS carried out a total rewiring of flat last month. Excellent job, great service and great care taken.
Fraser and the team have always been very professional and helpful in all jobs I have asked them to carry out. We have used them as a business for years and continue to return to them. They respond to every requirement and give great recommendations with different options.
