Reviewers of Alexander Zane Projects Ltd t/a Forward Energy describe professional, helpful service and tidy, neat work across solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, fuse boards and EICRs. Several say quotes and visits were prompt or efficient, and they report clear advice and communication, including explanations of charger apps and processes. Reviewers also report quality workmanship and recommend the business. One reviewer praised the Solar Skirts recommendation and said the wiring was extremely neat; another described a multi-site job with good pre- and post-fitting communication. One reviewer said the only improvement would be more payment methods, and another reported a small misunderstanding about a switch location that was moved straight away without fuss.
I recently had solar panels and a battery installed by Forward Energy, and I honestly could not be happier with the service. Demetri and Adam carried out the work and they were amazing from start to finish — very clean, efficient, respectful of my property and clearly take real pride in what they do. Demetri was incredibly responsive, provided a quote quickly and came out to survey without delay. He has a real knack for understanding customer needs and recommending the right product, rather than trying to oversell. His advice was clear, honest and completely no nonsense. Forward Energy clearly recognise quality and understand what good service is all about. There are no frills, just pure honesty, excellent workmanship and a solution-focused approach. The wiring work is extremely neat (curtesy of Adam, a brilliant electrician), and they genuinely seem able to make the impossible possible. I would definitely recommend going for Solar Skirts. They do cost more, but they look amazing, so thank you Demetri for the recommendation. Much better than the cheap mesh or spikes most companies use. I would recommend this company all the way. My advice would be to stay away from the big national companies if you want a personal touch. Their prices may look attractive at first, but in my experience they are not always completely transparent. With Forward Energy, everything felt clear, honest and properly explained. I will definitely be using Forward Energy again for my air conditioning installation. Thank you, Demetri and Adam, for being so great, respecting my property and completing the job to an excellent standard. A job done excellently.
Very efficient quote sent to me that was confirmed by Adam on his visit. Adam was great at finding solutions for installing ducting and the work was carried out promptly and to a high standard. Many thanks.
Great professional experience with Forward Energy, after being let down by a few companies, I contacted them for a solar meter moving from the loft to ground floor, and EICR spoke to Dimitry, he was fantastic after sending him a video of the meter, he emailed me a detailed quote, which I was happy with then we booked a time. Adam was sent to carry out the work, he was on time (8am) and carried out the work professionally and cleaned up after himself. The price quoted was fair and I will be using forward energy again. Thank you so much.
Great job from Adam, he was very professional and the job was very neat, it doesn't even look like he was here, digging and setting the cables across my garden. Warmly recommend
Required Solar fault repair. Very good experience from the initial quote to the high quality work undertaken. Highly recommend Forward Energy for any Solar, Ev or heat pump needs.
Huge thanks to the team at Forward Energy. Dmitry was brilliant at the start, giving me great guidance, education on my options, and recommending the perfect Ohme charger for my needs. Then Andy came out for the installation, super tidy, clean, and incredibly thorough with the setup. From great advice to a spotless install, I couldn't recommend them more!
Excellent company with courteous and professional staff. We had a multi-site job and nothing was too much trouble with great pre and post fitting communication and expert, prompt and clean fitting service. Thoroughly benchmarked best value pricing. Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Forward Energy, and from start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional. The service, from the user-friendly web interface to obtaining quotes with the help of Demetri, was seamless and professional. The installation itself was nothing short of brilliant. Adam, who carried out the install, was not only efficient but took the time to walk me through the Hypervolt App, ensuring I was fully comfortable with the setup and that everything was functioning perfectly. His attention to detail and customer care really stood out. I honestly cannot find a single fault with the service or the installation process. If you’re considering Forward Energy, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Top-notch company, excellent team, and outstanding results!
can highly recommend forward energy from communication to actual fitting everything went smoothly could not have had a better company to fit our solar panels a job well done thanks forward energy already seeing the benefits
They are a small team who are very knowledgeable and professional, helpful and dedicated in delivering a first class service. They listen to your needs and are competitive in pricing, it was the helpfulness that made me go with them for my instalation. They also provide ongoing support when needed. well done.
Looked at a complex solar and Tesla powerwall3 battery solution, reviewed multiple suppliers and came down to Forward Energy after meeting Demeitri the owner / installer. Down to earth, not hard sell, technical expertise and met all criteria. Installation went smoothly and all up and running. Not the cheapest but also good value overall. Fully recommend them.
Excellent service, has done Job before Christmas as asked, despite short notice.
Installed Hypervolt EV charger. Very pleased with the installation. Very neat job with minimum disruption. Adam left the site clean and tidy and explained charger operation. Recommend.
Exceptional work from first appointment to completion. I would truly recommend Dimitri and his team who will truly deliver all your needs. I will certainly recommend my friends to use you too when required. Thank you see
Alexander Zane were recommended by Hypervolt as the closest approved installer. Process started with a whats app video call to review the location and connection needs before installation. On installation day, I was not at home however the family really appreciated the team's friendliness and professionalism. Only improvement would be to offer more payment methods. Definitely recommended!
Very efficient, excellent workmanship, I highly recommend Alexander Zane.
Had a Hypervolt charger fitted at home. Alexander Zane were one of the companies recommended by Hypervolt to install their chargers. Efficient service right from the start. It always helps when seeing the person with whom you are dealing and I appreciated the FaceTime call from Demetri the same day that I contacted the company. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and sent a quote by email that evening. The earliest date for installation was just 8 days later. Two members of his team installed the charger 10 days later at my request. It was so refreshing to meet two young men who were polite and efficient. They even offered me a handshake before they left. In my experience, this is increasingly rare these days and it was so refreshing to see. Manners cost nothing but go a long way in my book. Thank you to Demetri and the team. I won't take delivery of my car for a couple of weeks so hopefully there will not be any problems with the charger working. Great service. Thank you.
Very impressed with their service both from a survey perspective and the actual installation.
I was looking up to install a Hypervolt EV charger and Alexander Zane came as the closest approved installer and selected them. Absolutely professional and responsive to the queries. Quick remote review on whatsapp followed by on time installation. The electricians were informational and installed the car charger neatly. Highly recommended.
replace fuse board arrive on time clean up after fare price thanks
Easy to talk to and professional service. Explained the process along the way and went the extra mile to produce a quality end result. Highly recommended
Used this company to fit an EV charger. Very helpful and professional from the start. At first they looked a little more expensive than the larger companies, but when I compared their like for like offer they were actually a little cheaper for what I needed. There was a small misunderstanding on the location of one of the switches. When I mentioned it to them they moved it straightaway without any fuss, even though it made the job longer for them. Highly recommended.
Amazing guys we were wiring a house today , as i am an electrician now, and we were working together very strict and knowledgeable people, happy to work with them, recommended highly by me !
Very professional, very happy customer,I would recommend to anyone
I contacted Alexander Zane Electrical Contractors as they were local business; they were prompt in getting back to us, following day they came over to the garage to assess the work needed to be done and the next they I got the detailed quote for labour and materials. They were available the following week to mount the garage consumer unit, connect the lights and also connect the garage to the house mains. I am happy to recommend for work quality, reactiveness and honest labour pricing.
The service was brilliant. I asked for a quote at the start of December, a guy came round the same week and fitted the extractor fan yesterday. It was great value for money and great quality of work. We will definitely be having them back for our plus installations in the new year. Thank you again.
Very good professional service!!
Very prompt and personable team. Quality of work great, good attention details and workmanship - amazed at how discreet their cabling is!! These will be my go-to electricians henceforth.
I got the EICR followed by a RCD compliant consumer unit replacement done through Alexander Zane. I found them very prompt, professional and they did the job at a fair price. Adam worked on the job and he was extremely polite, patient and tidy with his work. Highly recommended local electrician in Coventry !!
They carried out the EICR check on my rental property and then subsequently corrected the observations that were identified requiring replacement of the old consumer unit and repair of a loose socket. They did an excellent job and I am very happy with the workmanship.
