Prolectrical Southern Ltd

I've used Sean for several jobs now, and the quality of his work is consistently excellent. This time he upgraded my old consumer unit to a larger one fitted with individual RCBOs and an SPD, giving me plenty of capacity for future additions. He also installed a separate consumer unit to house a Shelly power monitor and a Ring doorbell transformer, along with an isolator switch between the electricity meter and the consumer unit. While carrying out the work, Sean also rectified the missing main earth bonding to the gas and water services. As the gas meter and consumer unit are on opposite sides of the house, several floorboards had to be lifted. He took great care to minimise disruption, and where boards needed to be cut, the workmanship was exceptionally neat. Sean is always punctual, knowledgeable and happy to explain everything he is doing. He clearly takes pride in his work, leaves everything tidy, and completes every job to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sean to anyone looking for a reliable, professional electrician.

Super helpful and informative. Quick response and a fabulous report and advice

Work required: Fuse board renewal, earth bonding, hob circuit and partial rewire in domestic flat. Extremely experienced, thorough and practical in terms of identifying the right solution to fix problems with the electrics. Would absolutely recommend.

Sean is excellent, we cannot recommend him highly enough. This is the second time we have used him, he installed 4 lights this time and was very professional, efficient, tidy and fair on cost. He will be our electrician for a long time.😀 Thank you Sean.

Sean has been doing some electrical medial work for me, he has been wonderful, totally professional yet friendly , trustworthy and easy to have around. His pricing is competitive and good value for money. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Sean was excellent , he was very fair on price , very effiecent and left everything as he found it after. Also really friendly and respetful of our home. Sorted a couple of issues we had and will keep using Sean and great that we have found ouselves a very good Electrican. Thanks again Sean

Absolutely outstanding service by Sean. From attending an emergency callout to then relocating our fuse box + wiring, Sean was explaining everything step-by-step, the quality of his work reflects his years of service. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy electrician, I'd recommend Sean.

Another excellent job completed by Sean today who we can always trust and rely on.

Once again Sean has provided excellent and very prompt service. Outside socket installed - very neat job. House was left very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend to others.

Contacted this company because of their already good reviews to get an electrical safety report done for a house sale . Sean answered straightaway and was able to get an appointment booked in to carry out the review at my convenience . Arrived in good time and presented me with a very thorough review at the end of that day. He was happy to explain all the technicalities in layman’s terms and the rationale for updating some of the electrical equipment including the outdated fuse box . Definitely highly recommend and will be instructing him to carry out the remedial works too.

Sean carried out the electrical decommissioning work at my property in a highly professional and reliable manner. He was responsive and punctual, keeping excellent communication throughout the process and providing clear explanations before starting the job. All work was completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. I particularly appreciated his timely response, professional attitude, and consistent reliability. I would be pleased to recommend Sean to anyone seeking competent, trustworthy work.

Having work previously completed by Sean he was the go-to when we decided to have an electric vehicle charger fitted. As ever Sean was super helpful in providing advice on the topic such as type / quality of the different chargers and necessary approval process. The installation work was carried out with his normal efficiency and quality. Thanks again Sean.

The work involved the supply & installation of a lengthy armoured sub - main cable from house to garage and installation of a consumer unit in the garage. Removal of old wiring & power points etc proved quite challenging but Sean perservered and did a first class job. We're totally satisfied with all the work he's done.

Sean did an excellent job re-working our external meter box and Sw isolator due to prior poor installation. If you want the job done to a high and safe standard it is worth it.

Another top installation by Sean; this time he sourced and installed an Andersen A3 car charger. Working with precision (as always), Sean ensured that the box was installed centrally on the wall, and even made Andersen replace the front cover when discovering that the original one they sent didn’t look quite right. Really appreciate your dedication and great work, thanks again, Sean!

We lost our lights upstairs and Sean made sure he came round the very next day and of course sorted rhe problem. Reliable trustworthy and honest. Highly recommend

Sean’s work continues to be extremely precise, and carried out professionally. I now have a set of architectural speakers installed in the walls and floors, with all cabling going through the walls, floor and ceiling, and nowhere to be seen. The quality of the sound is amazing, and the placement of the speakers (laser-level) is perfect. Excellent work again, thank you!

Sean has done several jobs for us over the years. His work is first class and we couldn’t be happier. Sean is very professional, polite, friendly and trustworthy man, he pays a lot of attention to detail insuring everything is just right. He recently installed an outside socket, outside light and security camera along with additional internal sockets and running cables under the floor boards. He makes sure to use dust sheets to protect floorings and always clears up any mess afterwards. We have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely be using him for a future projects.

Initial Electrical Inspection Review We recently had an initial electrical inspection carried out in preparation for a large-scale electrical refurbishment, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the service provided. The electrician was exceptionally thorough, leaving no detail unchecked and ensuring every aspect of the current installation was properly assessed. What stood out most was his pragmatic approach; rather than overwhelming us with unnecessary technical jargon or unrealistic recommendations, he focused on practical solutions that aligned with our goals. His ability to clearly explain findings and next steps made the process feel transparent and manageable. Highly qualified and clearly experienced, he brought a great deal of confidence to the project. He was also very approachable, making it easy to ask questions and discuss options without hesitation. Overall, this inspection has given us a solid foundation to move forward with the refurbishment, and we feel reassured knowing we’re in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended.

Sean has recently completed the wiring & electrics for our kitchen Reno. He turned up every day bang on time with a smile in his face, he always made time for my two young children who loved seeing his van park up outside. Sean always left his work space clean & tidy and was always able to answer our many questions a day with endless patience & reassurance. His knowledge and experience is endless and helped us make big decisions along the way. This included moving our fuse box unexpectedly and informing us of the fire safety regulations surrounding this. We would have been lost without him! I couldn’t recommend him more to anyone looking for a real expert in his trade & wide scale experience in projects and renovations. Thank you so much Sean for making such an overwhelming project an exciting experience for myself & my family.

Sean fitted a new consumer unit, installed downlights and an extractor fan in our bathroom, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, Sean was a total professional his communication is very good. He took time to discuss our needs, provide advice when he quoted (a very reasonable amount) for the work. The quality of his work was outstanding — the new consumer unit was installed perfectly, the downlights look fantastic, and the bathroom extractor fan works great and is nice and quiet. Sean also made sure the place was left clean and tidy. His attention to detail and friendly, helpful attitude made the whole process stress-free and he is also a genuinely nice bloke. We highly recommend Sean for any electrical work and will certainly be calling him for future projects.

Highly recommend Sean. Courteous, professional and remarkable attention to detail.

Sean arrived bang on time at 8am. Dust sheet and over shoes at the ready. Which impressed me right from the start. Sean took the time to go over what he would be doing. I was having an old fused box replaced as needed lots more capacity for future projects. The unit chosen provided me with that and Sean had boxes of RCBO breakers in case plans changed along the way. When the job was completed and everything tested I knew I had chosen the right man for the job. The wiring in the new consumer unit was like a work of art the way the cables had been connected. You can tell he takes total pride in his work and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone. Thanks Sean for a fantastic job.

Sean turned up at 8am this morning (which is a great start). He looked at the job of replacing 4 existing spotlights in the bathroom once he had confirmed what was needed, all the tools came out but more impressively the dust sheets came out too. He was super clean and tidy and so knowledgeable, even so whilst on site I asked about a porch light that hasn't worked for years, he looked at it and discovered it was not wired correctly and explained very clearly what would be needed to get it working. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sean, super efficient, clean, tidy, honest and clearly very reliable, I will be having him back.
