Reviews

OY Electrical Ltd t/a OY Electrical is described by several customers as friendly and professional. Some reviewers say the team is knowledgeable and explained the work clearly, while others highlight a can-do attitude and careful attention to detail. One customer reports a home battery and solar panel service, and another reports an off-grid solar and battery system fitted in a remote garage in one long day. A reviewer who has worked with the firm for several years says it is neat and handles home energy, solar and unusual installations. That same reviewer recommends it to their clients.
OY Electrical Ltd recently installed our home battery and serviced our solar panels, and the quality of their work is top-tier. They are true professionals—friendly, clear, and happy to explain every step of the installation as they go. No challenge was too big, and their attention to detail and high standards were incredible throughout. I won't be using any other electrician in the future. Highly recommended!
I contacted Cory for some advise about an EPS system for my home solar. He responded very quickly and gave clear advise on how best to proceed with this. Now all installed and very happy with it.
Done work with Cory before he is a straight up an honest guy and an all around great company wouldn’t get anyone else to do anything for me with electrics
After watching a video on Youtube I wanted an off grid system in my remote garage, I contacted some local companies but none wanted to help with off grid, I reached out to OY and few photos and a quote later, Cory, Chester & Mike arrived early morning and fitted our system, working some 12 hours to get it completed in 1 day, super professional, removing an old on grid unit which was disconnected, Its working perfectly and provides power for daytime and evening use, 6 panels, 8kwh Battery and a back up charging point if needed, So glad I contacted these guys even though they were out of area. Their ability to think out the box is worth every penny and their can do attitude which is so hard to find these days. Well Done Look forward to getting them back for the next big project.
Cory and his team have been amazing, he had a deep technical understanding of the electrical systems we needed installing and a can do attitude towards the project as a whole. Great electricians - would definitely recommend!
Amazing service. Great sparky
I’m a returning customer. Very friendly and professional service from Cory as always. Knows his stuff and you can tell there is pride in his work. Highly recommend.
Cory was able to provide some very useful electrical advice and insights. He certainly knows his stuff and has a can-do attitude towards the job 👍🏻
Brilliant so helpful and polite.
These guys are next level, their knowledge and experience blows my mind! Highly recommend
Cory's been fantastic, he's always our go to for any work needed. He's honest, friendly and genuine. Would highly recommend.
Excellent quality of work, Cory’s attention to detail is great. The guy lives and breathes understanding how electrics work, which is very reassuring. Top class banter as well, thoroughly enjoyed having the team around!
I’ve worked with Cory / ØY for several years now, and can’t recommend their work highly enough. Always polite, professional and very neat with everything they do. As well as standard Electrical work, they excel with home energy management, solar and renewables and out of the ordinary installations. They have been able to assist my clients on many occasions - I wouldn’t hesitate in getting in contact.
