CCM have carried out a few maintenance jobs on behalf of Landlords properties we manage in Manchester City Centre. We have found their approach very professional when it comes to liaising access with tenants, managing work and completing the work. Their prices are competitive and good quality work is delivered. CCM are really quick and reliable! They keep you in the loop with updates, they tell you if they run into any issues or if earlier appointments become available which helps speed the job up, and provide really good details run down of the job once completed, so you understand where the money is spent, rather than some companies which just say 'job complete' and you wonder what the actual issue was! Linda in the office is helpful and quick to respond/action emails, and the guys who complete the work are polite and complete jobs to high standards! :)

We had a dreadful experience with this company. We had an issue with our shower hot/cold mix. They advised that we would need a non return valve and a thermostatic mixer tap - we had both installed and the pressure of the water drastically reduced (and they could not explain why). They told us we would need a pump, but couldn’t do this themselves because they didn’t currently have an electrician. We paid for this service but the shower pressure was worse than ever (granted, the temperature mix was fine but it was a drizzle). We had a separate issue with our toilet cistern, so went to another company to fix this - and were advised by this plumber to get back in touch with City Centre Maintenance because it would seem like there was a fault on their behalf. We asked them to come back and they said they would charge us if there was no fault - fine. A plumber then returned and said it could be resolved with a diverter, but then we were then told by his senior that he was incorrect. At a loss, we asked a friend to drive from Leeds to give us a 3rd opinion - he found debris in the pipe and an air lock, and fixed the pressure. When the bill arrived from City Centre Maintenance, we explained the situation and sent a photo of the issue, however because this wasn’t completed by a company (instead by a friend doing us a favour after witnessing the stress this was causing), they insisted we paid for their final visit where they missed the problem entirely.
A great experience from start to finish. We are currently renting and our landlord put us in contact with CCM. It was so easy to organise an appointment with no waiting time. The workman who attended was so polite and very hard working trying to fix our issue. We were then contacted by the team in the office to check we were happy with the work and to see how the visit went. Great service and very friendly and professional staff. Thank you!
