M J Electrical

Excellent, expert, efficient and timely service. Highly recommended.

We're very happy with the work Stuart did in our house. We needed sockets and a light in a dark under stairs cupboard. Stuart was timely, friendly, tidy and did a great job. He also fixed a dimmer socket. Next time we have a job, we'll definitely call MJ Electrical again.

First time using Stuart. Thorough, professional and friendly. Would not hesitate to use him again. Thanks, Stuart!

Would highly recommend Stuart at MJ Electrical. Always responds quickly and is highly professional. Willing to offer advice on top of services requested. We have used Stuart as our go-to electrician for several years and for numerous jobs, small to large.

Stuart Jones of MJ Electrical spent approximately 5 hours rigorously inspecting and testing the domestic electrical system for an EICR Report in my 5 bedroomed house. He found a serious miswiring fault from original installation in 1981 that was potentially very dangerous plus a number of other faults another one of which was quite serious. These defects were meticulously searched out and corrected subsequently over two full days with the miswiring diagnosed and a suitable effective repair devised and implemented. Mr Jones arrived on time, worked long and hard, cleaned up after himself was trustworthy and reliable and did an excellent professional job the end result being that the electrical installation was confirmed as being satisfactory with the appropriate NICEIC Certificates being promptly issued. I would not hesitate to recommend this contractor to carry out any electrical works from the simple and straightforward to the more complex.

Stuart upgraded my electrical installation to meets the requirements of a Pod Point charger. The work done was really impressive. Great quality all around with excellent finishing. Definitely my "go to" from now onwards.

Replaced our consumer unit and fixed circuit fault. Also dealt with emergency power loss the week before. All very professionally done at reasonable cost. I would have no problem recommending to anyone.

The standard of work with professionalism was FANTASTIC. I would strongly recommend his services. A friendly professional which puts his customers interests first.

I've used Stuart twice now, first when remodelling a kitchen involving relocation of multiple sockets and kitchen appliances, and more recently when performing emergency repairs to drilled-through wiring. I've always found him extremely professional, knowledgeable and totally reliable. We've used many electricians in the area in the past prior to Stuart, but Stuart is now by far the one we trust most to tackle anything from minor repairs to major works on our property. Highly recommended.

Great work on our outdoor lighting. Professional workmanship completed with care. We had 10 garden spotlights fitted and are very happy with the care taken to work around existing plants & trees. Prompt service and response to enquiries and follow up.

Conducted a thorough Electrical Installation Condition Report and remedial work in a timely and efficient manner.

Stuart replaced a bathroom extractor fan for me - he was prompt to communicate with me, and to do the job. Extremely professional and knows his stuff. Have used him before and will do so again!

I needed an electrical safety certificate for a property I own. Stuart gave excellent service

Excellent service needed a Fuse spur switch replace for the immersion tank. The young Woman did a first class job. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Stuart replaced my electric panel after I bought my house. He advised the one I had was old and didn't meet regulations and would have been the case for many years. He quoted for the work, and arrived on time was very tidy and accurate exactly as quoted. he has done a few jobs for me now because I was so happy with his professionalism and work. He is also very COVID aware, so you don't feel at risk when he has to come into your house as he is extremely diligent with the wearing of a mask and maintaining distance, unlike some other work people I have had in the house in recent months. Very pleased and will use him in future all the time.

Very high quality work done carrying out major remedial work in a very dated flat. Great service and value for money. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous service! Very reasonable quotation indeed for replacing/relocating bathroom lights/switches. Stuart and Sophie arrived at exactly the time promised and set to work immediately. Some unforeseen problems encountered - caused by previous builders, I hasten to add - however they offered solutions to everything. The quality of their work is simply superb and our bathroom now looks better than we ever imagined - and they are friendly, delightful people. We have used various electricians over the years with varying results, well not any more, MJ Electrical will now be our 'go to' company.

Stuart and his daughter did a good job, they were polite and professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. I have 6 new kitchen spotlights now which aren’t shorting out the electrics in the house - fab!

I'm happy to say I've become a repeat customer of MJ Electrical. As on my previous two jobs with him (fitting a consumer unit and providing an electrical installation condition report) everything went smoothly. This time I asked Stuart to swap out a hob. The challenge was that the previous unit was over 20 years old and compared to today's hobs was a non-standard spec. Stuart took care of it, resolving some of the incompatibilities with a creative solution. As usual, he was timely and the quality of his work was top-notch. Stuart will by my first port of call for any electrical work in the SL postcode.

Excellent service had an outside light fitted by stuart and sophie very pleased with work and would recommed m and j

Amazing work carried out. Friendly and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend Stuart and Sophie.

MJ Electrical fitted new lights throughout our warehouse. I was glad to see the job completed quickly without disrupting our normal work. I would use them again for any future electrical work.

M J Electrical  came in short notice to fit my new storage heating in. We used mj electrical which got the job done. Very reliable and will definitely use again

M J Electrical  provided all new electrical points and lights for us during our office refurbishment.  They were there late into the evenings as our first electrician did not turn up and hence there was little time left before we moved in. I would use them again as they were reliable.
