Ray did a brilliant job of removing the pull switch in the bathroom and replacing it with a switch on the landing. He also fixed our pull switch in the cloakroom. Also, he replaced 2 smoke alarms for us. Never left any mess and he's very pleasant too. Didn't charge an extortionate amount either. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical works.

Ray fitted a new element for my cooker amd got it working again quickly. He came on time and when he said he would. He is very reliable and always does a great job. Would recommend.

Ray is absolutely fantastic, honest and reliable. He has done 2 double socket in my garage and then went to my mums bungalow and fitted her an indoor double socket. Wouldn't have had anybody else in my mums.

Had work done to repair a wire I drilled through. Full picture attached to the review. Good: Seemed like a pleasant guy Was able to do the work quickly Good price Had work done in September and the wire is still working Bad: - One of the boxes used for the repair was chipped as can be seen in the pictures. Seems like they only cost a few quid. Still functional i guess - Damaged the floor. I didn't want to include too many pictures to the review so below is some of the damage. It's not extensive damage really but he didn't put down anything to cover the floor and let chunks of brick hit it. It was less than a year old in my first home so probably annoyed me more than it should. I brought this up with him and he said maybe I did the damage when cleaning up but I don't know how vacuuming would cause a massive chip in the floor. He then offered to part refund me so I could get someone to come out and repair the floor but then just didnt pay. I understand that damage can happen so probably would've left a 4 or 5 star review otherwise but a bit frustrating that he tried to deny responsibility and then didn't refund a bit of what I paid him even after offering

Fast friendly service. Had a problem with a tripping fuse. The fault was quickly located to the cooker and was resolved just as quick. Would certainly recommend RS Electrical Services 👍

I had a very good experience with Ray doing electrical work in my house, he is experienced, punctual with very good communication.

After continues efforts to get in touch with the company they did not answer a single phone call I had placed on various days,it's a pity that a company can lack such customer service especially towards it's customers.overall I was Disattisfied and felt unheard by this company which prompted me to resort to another company.In the future i hope this company can consider it's customer service and ethic toward all their customers as this is a disappointing stunt performed by the company.

Really helpful - even tried to talk me through the problem over the phone for around 15 mins to troubleshoot it myself so that the problem would be fixed without him needing to come out.

Ray was called out recently to fix our electrics. We contacted him out of hours & he came the next morning. He managed to sort out the fault, was really efficient, explained the problem & wasn't too expensive. We were very pleased with his service!

We had a fault at 8 pm on Sunday. I messaged Ray, not expecting to get a reply until the next morning. He replied almost instantly, booked a time to come the next morning at 11, and turned up on time. Really nice lad, talked everything through, identified the fault, and had us back up and running. Really reasonable charge as well. Top bloke, highly recommend. We've certainly found the spark we will use for everything going forward now.

Had an issue with our shower, our plumber recommended Ray. He came the same day but unfortunately it wasn't repairable but his suggestion limited the amount of water that was still flowing. He assisted us through the purchase of a new shower and installed it the day after arrival. Would have no hesitation in using Ray again.

Had a problem with an RCD not working, we also some problems with some light switches not being earthed properly. Ray came and sorted all the problems out promptly. Ray is a lovely guy we felt very comfortable having him work in our home. He always messaged us so we knew when he would be over that changed due to the weather. We were trying to get some old lights working in the garden. He didn’t give up, he got them all working and updated. He talked us through what he was doing and come up with solutions and ideas. He cared about the overall safety and appearance not wanting wires to be visible. He changed 2 unsightly stone boxes covering old wires put a lights timer and plug outside controlling new spike lights. He got our old shower working and solved our consumer unit problem. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to family and friends.

Very professional service, had unusual and problematic issue with electrics and Ray spent lots of time doing a thorough investigation to solve the problem. Successful outcome, would certainly use again and definitely recommend.

I rang for a small job, two 2-way light switch facias needed changing, unfortunately I'd already had a go myself. Ray was brilliant, diagnosed the issue and got the lights working again. Was really impressed that he was able to attend so quick, and we booked follow on work to replace the casing to one on the switches. Will definitely be using R.S electrical services in the future.

Ray recently installed a new consumer unit and additional circuit for a hot tub, as well as replacing a couple of broken outside sockets and completing a full Electrical Condition Inspection Report.Very pleased with the job, nice neat worker, competitive price, received all necessary certificates and was very reliable turning up exactly when advised he would, maintained good communication throughout, providing advice and recommendations for best options. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any electrical work.

I have had afew jobs done by Ray & i am always over the moon with his work! He is friendly, hard working & what i love more is he explains what needs doing & also explains what he is doing during the job. Fantastic service by Ray. He recently wired and fitted a number of outdoor lights and sockets as part of our garden renovation.
