I hired Electrician 2U to do some electrical work. The job was to relocate the EV charger from the garage and install it outside, add a couple of sockets in the garage and outside the house, install external lighting, and wire in the awning. The team completed all the work to a professional standard. I can 100% recommend this company.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Anthony from Electrician 2 u got in touch with me after I put a check a trade request in. He came to the house at a convenient time, he was really polite, easy to talk to and very thorough with his explanation of what would be done during the rewire, which is why I chose to use his company. Anthony sent a break down of all the work and cost and we even discussed doing certain rooms at a time if I wasn't able to completely empty my house (which I did manage to do). The work that has been done by his team is fantastic. If a problem arose Anthony got in touch ASAP to discuss and any extra work was discussed, quoted and agreed upon before the work was carried out. Considering I have had a full rewire the house is exceptionally clean, which is fantastic, I wasn't quite sure what I would go back to but it really cleanliness which is amazing. We found Electrician 2U on Checkatrade and were contacted not long after our enquiry. From the first phone call we had, I felt that their customer service was great and I wasn’t disappointed. Communication throughout the job was excellent, especially as we weren’t living in the house or even in the country for some of it. The team were always willing to answer questions, worked within our timescale and ensured our house was clean for when we got back. The team also organised the plastering side for us as we were away to reduce the need for us to liaise with multiple people which was very much appreciated. I needed an EICR carried out quickly as part of a house purchase, and Electrician 2U made the whole process incredibly easy. From the initial call, they arranged everything directly with the estate agent and seller, and had the inspection booked within a week. The Tier 3 EICR found that the fuse board needed upgrading, and the team managed to get the seller to agree to cover the cost, completing the work just days later. They then promptly issued an EIC and a Building Regulations Certificate of Compliance for the fuse board upgrade, along with a fully satisfactory EICR, sending all the certificates straight over. From first contact to having every certificate in hand took under two weeks - brilliant communication throughout and genuinely helpful given the time pressure of a house purchase. Highly recommend, and would use them again. 😊

I contacted Anthony at Electrician2U and he came out to carry out a survey straight away. He give me a quote within one day. Once I gave the go ahead for the work, Anthony had one of his electricians on site the following day. Fortunately the property was empty and Anthony was able to get his team on the job, working around other trades with no fuss. I contacted Electrician 2U for an urgent request, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service provided. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. They carried out an EICR, after I had previously had one done by another company that turned out to be incorrect, and quickly identified the issues. They also installed water and gas bonding, fitted a new fuse board, replaced lights in both the bathroom and kitchen, and installed a new switch. All work was completed to a very high standard, with great care and respect shown to my property throughout. I was kept updated regularly with pictures, which gave me real peace of mind, and everything was clearly explained in plain, easy-to-understand terms—something I really appreciated. I found these guys on the internet, and they literally came out the next day. They were quick dealing with a replacement/relocation of spotlights and sockets. The fitter was polite and did a really good job with the spotlights I didn’t hear him make any noise or mess so when I went in to see he already finished fitting them I was really surprised. My 93yr old mother’s electric had tripped and couldn’t be reset. She was completely without power. Her home insurance emergency cover couldn’t come out until Tuesday! Rang Anthony and he was there in less than an hour. Diagnosed a faulty consumer unit, problem fixed over the weekend until a new unit could be fitted. All done quickly and efficiently. Had an emergency call out between Xmas and New Year when they were technically closed. Came anyway and unable to fix immediately but sorted temporary fix for perishables (like fridge/freezer) and arranged to come back first day after holidays. Two of the team arrived and spent a full day replacing my old fuse box and then identifying the faulty socket that caused the issue in the first place. All fixed and ordered me some new switches and sockets (as mine were no longer legal) and came and fitted all those. Friendly and professional team. Very happy with all work done and prices seemed reasonable. Didn’t want paying until work done and I was happy. Would definitely recommend and will use them again in the future.

Cannot recommend the team enough! Moving house and needed an EICR check with urgency. The team came out within 6 hours of being in contact via CheckATrade. Over all a great experience. I needed an outdoor socket installed for charging and EV. Job was organised and confirmed quickly, and two members of the team were here within 3 days. One appeared to be more experienced, and one an apprentice. Both friendly and professional. Though I had been quoted for a "through and through" socket, the job required running some conduit and terminating the run in the consumer unit with an RCD. The job was complete within a couple hours, last thing on a Friday. It all looks very tidy and the socket works as intended. Excellent service, would use again.

Wanted a plug socket adding to our box room, they came and sorted it within a couple days of contacting - added in the socket with no mess and were very efficient and matched it to look like the sockets in the rest of the house so would definitely contact again for future electrical jobs.

We were very happy with the speed and efficiency of Anthony and his team . They undertook the electrical inspection on the Thursday having only contacted Checkatrade at the beginning of the week and then, when a fair amount of further work was required, they came back and completed the job on Monday.. I came home to find all my electricity was off and I couldn't find the fault. I called Electrician 2 U and Anthony and his team were quick to come out. They located the fault, which was my dishwasher and Anthony put in an up to date circuit breaker box, labelled it all up so I would be able to check where a fault was. Replace & Install faulty electric shower Very prompt in responding to initial enquiry & arranging job. All done with new shower fitted within less than 24 hours after said initial enquiry. Gave clear explanation of work needed and costs. Unfortunately turned into a bigger job than planned due to a previous job on my fuse box by a cowboy tradesman a few years previously. Amazing customer service, explained what he thought the issue was over the phone to put us at ease then diagnosed the issues when he got to us. Everything was explained well and all our questions were answered whenever they came up. They came for one issue and had resolved a hell of a lot more on our "to do" list!! Over 3 days we had a brand new fuse box, fuse box relocated, new outdoor light fitted, sockets fitted, changed out old light switches, fitted a dead switch, tested and certified everything up to a safe standard. We immediately felt at ease and safe in our home again. Can't believe how neat and tidy everything was. Seriously huge thank you to the whole team.

Had a faulty consumer unit with burning smells, a melted wire, lots of heat and lots of crackling. Called Electrician 2U and came out same day to replace the failed fuse box etc. Their work is perfect -and a really tidy job was done. I genuinely don’t ever write reviews for places but the team at Electrician 2 U deserve this one. I needed a double plug socket installing in my garage and a large bedroom light fitting putting up both within 2 days notice. The team were very swift in hearing me out and booking me in for when I needed the job doing. Both jobs were completed to an amazing standard, whilst being respectful and keeping the house really clean. The team ended up installing 3 double plug sockets instead of just the 1 that was paid for, and also finished the job with trunking to hide the wires. I was more than prepared to pay extra for this as it was done to such a good standard and looked brilliant, however, I was told not to worry about paying any extra. Brilliant service and will 100% be using them again for anything else. Shout out to Jake who was both professional and a great guy while completing the work!

The whole experience has been for lack of a better word easy, took them 20 minutes to reach out after requesting a quote, beat the other four quotes and had it booked in two days later and work done with my email sent to me for the job with details of completion, they have outlined work needed and also potential future works down the line and prices for the work, i got a call from the electrician soon as the job was done and he talked me through everything that would show on the report and made sure I understood and was happy with it all. 10/10 will use them for the work needed too. Brilliant. Edit: It won't allow a second review, Had the lads round to take on the further works required on the property, not only have they done it and done it well, they also did a bit of modernising as they went adding two way switches where there weren't any before and also correcting mistakes that had been made historically (not by them) even though it was not on the original job list, there were additional works found which almost doubled the work needed, which they then priced up fairly and got done in brilliant time, honestly can't thank you all enough, but mostly Anthony, who came today to finish the job even though it was in-between other jobs he had on so that we could get back into the house sooner (was originally going to be tomorrow) but he squeezed us in anyway and really looked after us, the whole team were nice, even when they did eat my chocolates 😉 but they are an honest firm and do honest work to a great standard, cheers!

Thank you to Electrician 2 U and Attoney who came to our home to complete the first fit of the electric lights to our new porch. He was very polite and respectful of our home and hoovered and tidied up after his first fit. Once the porch was complete he returned to complete the connection of the electric lights, three on the porch ceiling and two up down lights on the brick pillars, he didn't have black lights fittings as communication about the colour of our ceiling wasn't properly addressed by us. This wasn't an issue and he had black fittings delivered quickly to our home. Again he worked professionally and was respectful of our home and also had a look at our very old fuse box and gave us a great price to replace. That's another story. What an incredibly professional service!! I spoke with Anthony at teatime on Saturday as I had no electricity in my home and also run a business from it. The next morning Anthony and his team arrived at 7.30am to install and relocate the main fuse box after fully explaining the work that needed doing. I cannot thank Anthony and his team enough for turning this job around so quickly as I was panicking that I would not be able to operate my business on Monday too. The team arrived promptly at the pre arranged day and time. The work was carried out safely and efficiently, The old fuse box was replaced and the new fuse box was neatly put in place. all sockets and lights were tested , the instructions of use was explained to us. The replacing of our main fusebox was carried out very professionally and courteously by the team at the time they had stated. Anthony and the team have been fantastic throughout our conversion. Due to our delays it meant they had to make 2 visits and they have been so professional throughout. They rewired the garage, changed the fuse box, installed speaker wire & sockets. Came back, changed the direction of speaker wire since I changed my mind (!) without any damage to the walls, threaded through a HDMI cable, and installed lights & underfloor heating, again, a late decision by us so wired without knowing when we were in building stage - again, no mess to walls. A fun & close team - wouldn't use anyone else.
