I approached this company to replace 2 outside lights. I'd already purchased lights for this purpose. Whilst quotes were coming it at approx £50, this company quoted me £165! What were they going to do? Rewire the property at the same time? It's not as if I live out in the sticks. All the quote said was 'Labour - £165' not detail as to why it cost so much. Make of this what you will but I've blocked them since. 😡

The team (Chris, Ben and Stuart) were tasked to do multiple lighting installs as well as a new consumer unit. They were amazing at discussing what I wanted and then carrying out the work in a quick and clean way. Any mess from drilling was cleaned up and they spent a lot of time explaining to me what was happening so I was well informed. I can't recommend them and the company highly enough and though they are not the cheapest, the work is to a very high standard which for electrical work, I would want so I saw them as good value for money.

Excellent work as always provided by the team at TECC. This time just a couple of light fittings replaced and a single socket upgraded to a double. Happily left the door electrician too it and went out and left him a key, everything impeccably clean and tidy when got home and work was amazing as always. Very reasonable cost wise too, always on time, used TECC multiple times now and will defo be using again in new year and would defo recommend for anyone wanting any electrical work done.

I was so impressed with the work that Joe did to fix my fathers old hot air electric heating system which had stopped working, he was meticulous in diagnosing and fixing the fault even though he had never worked on such a system. Joe did an excellent job doing the first and second fix to a kitchen extension. A lot of problem solving required to link into wiring in old house. Took the time to understand what we wanted in terms of style and function and happy to adapt as things progressed.Always on time, courteous, tidy.

Very good experience with competent professional, engineer (thank you Joe) who was swiftly able to troubleshoot several issues discovered when we moved into a new house. Of 5 problems i identified he was able to locate and rectify 4 of the issues within the space of his consultancy visit and to identify and quote for work needed on the lesser 5th problem (now scheduled for a return visit) Joe was polite, efficient, timely and for the problems that he resolved so swiftly, charged extremely reasonably. I would have absolutely no hesitation at using TECC and in reccommending Joe in the future. We will be using TECC to resolve the remaining minor ussue now we know what it is (wrong type of dimmer switches previously fitted by prior owner). Try and keep calling this company to purchse some equipment they are selling online. A woman answers the phone and allegedly takes messages. Passes them on, again allegedly. However, no one calls you back. This is the only thing I see consistent with this company. Shame professionalism and customer service are not part of their ethos. TECC have been carrying out PAT testing at our sites for the last few years. Their technicians are friendly, helpful and thorough. Where they find faults they either carryout simple repairs (e.g. changing plugs) or clearly make recommendations on how to achieve compliance. Often I have felt that PAT is just box ticking but TECC offer great value for money and make a real difference.

In short, I requested electrical testing for a property I’m purchasing as the seller didn’t have any documentation. The TECC Ltd team communicated effectively between myself and the seller. Following the initial testing, the overall assessment of the installation in terms of the suitability for continued use was unsatisfactory. TECC Ltd provided a reasonably priced quote for remedial work, carried this out in a timely manner and provided an updated EICR at no additional cost. The electrics in the property are now satisfactory.

The team at TECC carried out the second fix electrical work on our self-build house that included four consumer units and over 200 other electrical hardware items including sockets, internal and external lighting, thermostats and water heaters. Following a burst heating pipe which soaked my electric circuit board we got TECC Ltd in to carry out repairs to our electrics and test the board and circuits. They were prompt, efficient, extremely professional and a pleasure to have in our home. We had TECC do a house rewire whilst we were away for the first week of it. Great job, fair price and good customer service. There was a couple of snags which were resolved quickly and without issue. Since we have had them back to fit an isolator switch. We would use them again.
