We've had problems with our electricity tripping several times during the evening for quite some time. Gavin came and gave the whole house a thorough check over. My wife and I were very pleased with the installed product which was a bathroom fan heater and with the efficient service provided by Phillips Services.

Electrical Safety Certificate Inspection done the same week it was requested. Report was thorough and improvements advised. Some delay in sending out the invoice, perhaps because it was Xmas. Failure to invoice promptly can lead to cash flow problems and may cause a business to fail. Staff courteous and helpful on the phone who answered promptly with no menu. Emails were answered quickly. Have asked them to do the upgrading electrical work required.

Excellent service, called on the Monday had an electrcian by the Wednesday, very helpful on the phone when discussing my fault, Simon talked me through what needed to be done.

We had 2 old fuse boards replaced with modern consumer units, new earth rod. Earthing for house pipe work and electrical testing. All works completed on the time agreed and done with a professional finish.

We had a tripping circuit where the fault was proving difficult to pin down by a number of electricians from other companies. Tom from Phillips arrived on time and was determined to find the fault. He performed many diagnostic tests, was incredibly thorough testing the whole circuit, rewired every socket and explained everything he was doing. His determination paid off as he fixed the fault we’d had for over a year. Outstanding service. I’d highly recommend Phillips and will definitely use them again.

Had a problem with the electric socket the washing machine was plugged into. A fault caused the socket to overheat and the plug was stuck. The electrician (sorry, I can't remember his name) arrived on time, was friendly and professional. He checked the socket and washing machine and was able to separate the plug. He replaced the wall mounted double socket with a good quality brand. All done quickly and without fuss. No problems with washing machine or sockets since. Definitely recommended and we'll call on Phillips Services for any future electrical work.

We had a fault with our bedroom light it would arc and it caused the fuse box to short out leaving us without power. I'd called 3 other companies with no luck. When I called Phillip's Services someone was sent within 25 minutes and the issue was fixed in less than an hour. The man they sent was very mindful of my partner who was working nights and made as little noise as possible as he slept downstairs. Followed all the covid guidelines and was polite. Used Phillips Services to install an electric oven, shower, and to replace a pull cord with a switch. Was in need of an electrician to respond asap to replace a light fixture that broke. Phillips Services have recently rewired a 1960's house – new fuse box, wiring, electric shower, towel rails, sockets and light fittings, the work was carried out with minimum of disruption to the occupants and any problems/snags were dealt with efficiently and with ease, the electrics have been truly transformed! Great value, excellent work, reliable and friendly service - highly recommended!

Had a major electrical fault in the extension of my property, telephoned Phillips services the staff there were very helpful and professional, within a few hours an electrician came out and within a matter of an hour or so the problem was rectified. I had a problem with my house fuseboard not staying on over the weekend. I called Phillips after being unable to get in touch with any other electricians. They responded quickly sending out an electrician within 45mins on a Sunday! Within the hour of arriving they had fixed my board and I had electrics back on. Was told over phone the problem could be fixed within 30 minutes. * Then....turned up later than time stated (about 1 hour 30 minutes late) * "Electrician" spent 30 minutes on his phone with someone to see what he had to do. That was after I asked "shall I turn the electric off by the fuse box?", his reply was "if you want". Sorry but I think you should want, unless you enjoy getting fried. * Nothing was attempted to be fixed * Was advised to buy new and give Phillips Services a call to install * Charged me more then the appliance costs, to tell me "get a new one". Thanks but could have told you that myself. Shall not be giving Phillips Services a call to install, have since sorted myself and shall not be calling Phillips Services in future.

I phoned up for an emergency electrician to come out the same day as the electrics in my house weren't working, Phillips Services was very flexible and sent out an electrician in the same hour and by the end of the day my electrics were back on, thank you!
