Brilliant service. Simon went out of his way to make space for a short-notice EICR. When he arrived, he was cheerful, professional, and hard-working. He also went the extra mile to sort out another (unplanned) issue with the electrics in the kitchen. First-rate electrician - recommend.
I seldom post reviews, but was hugely impressed by Simon's swift and efficient service at a superbly competitive price, and so happily offer one based on my experience. Polite, efficient and pragmatic, Simon communicated consistently and simply throughout. His work rate and quality are of the highest order, and he powered through a longish list of domestic fixes and installations to a fantastic standard. Thorough, safe, top-quality installation and a great communicator; Unreservedly recommended.
Simon arrived on time, explained in detail how he proposed to carry out the work and answered all our related questions so we understood what was involved. He replaced all the existing & outdated kit that supplied the house circuits and fitted a new 14 way consumer units. A nice tidy job. Finally testing all circuits for electrical safety. It would be difficult to find a more professional, friendly & knowledgeable electrician. We’re very pleased with the quality of his work.
Tidal Electrical is most highly recommended! Simon designed and installed a bespoke electrical solution to a one of a kind new build, giving technical input, sourcing materials and advising on design, managing the project from start to finish. The project involved linking into the existing power infrastructure, installing new mains cables over a a long distance both internally and externally and installation of a complete wiring and lighting system with multiple auxiliaries. Simon is courteous, punctual and highly proficient, working to a very high standard, completing a challenging and technical project most satisfactorily. His can-do approach and solid technical expertise set him apart. It is difficult to overstate how much I appreciated Simon's attention to detail, clean working environment and professionalism. Highly recommended for any electrical installation or project.
Simon came to do our insurance inspection and a few general repairs. He fitted us in very quickly, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and tidy. We were very impressed by the standard of work and he was a joy to have in the house. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Simon came to change our consumer unit and fit a new EV charging point at my mother's house. He was very responsive to phone calls and messages and managed to fit us in at short notice despite a busy diary. I used Simon and Tidal's services to run an Electrical Car Cable Charger from my house to my garage. In addition he installed sockets and wiring for a new electric garage door. I found him to be prompt, efficient and was happy that he laid out options for me before we committed to work. The work was neat and he left the site in a tidy condition. Simon is personable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him based on the work carried out
