We recently had Mike complete an EICR and solar survey ahead of buying a new property. Mike was really great at explaining the issues and suggest actions. Simon and the other 2 lads came and carried out remedial works and did a fantastic job. They were extremely friendly, polite and considerate. They went above and beyond. AW Electrics were very good. Electricians arrived promptly and worked hard to instal the battery and inverter. They were very friendly and polite and we would recommend the company for reliability and doing a good job. They discussed options and answered our questions fully. The service from the guys that came on the day was nothing short of perfection! They were polite, friendly and incredibly professional throughout the day, the full solar installation on took just over 6 hours and the team were communicative and supportive all the way through. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, the work was completed to a high standard, the site left clean and tidy, they took all waste away with them and even hoovered up after themselves! Will definitely use the team again for any electrical work, highly recommended!

Excellent customer service start to finish. Mike, Adam and Michelle have been quick to respond to queries and been happy to answer all our questions. The solar panel installation was at a good price and the installation process was minimally disruptive. They have also accommodated a few individual requests we had in addition to solar panel installation, e.g. helping rewire some light switches and plugs. Overall couldn't ask for for a better experience really.

I didn’t know much about solar so they talked me through it, and did some additional work while the scaffolding was up. 100% recommend on a works and communication perspective and the solar is now making money instead of me spending it on electricity! Enquired about having solar batteries fitted to complement my solar panels which were installed 12 years ago. Adam came out to do a site visit to establish feasibility and the best place to fit them (Our garage which is some 4 metres from the side of our house). The quote with 3 different battery options was with me within the week. I chose a Luxpower ACS 3600 inverter with two 5.1KW Hanchu batteries and I thought the pricing was both competitive and fair. An install date was arranged for 15th April (within 4 weeks of the first visit). The equipment was installed neatly and professionally by the AW Electricals team of Simon, Mark and Mike. One part of the installation involved running around 10 metres of RJ45 cable from the garage, under a path, along a fence, around the corner of the house, over our porch and through a very thick stone wall into the cupboard under our stairs to capture the amount of solar energy being generated by our panels so it could be displayed on the monitoring system. This was done amazingly neatly. The system has now been working without any issue for over a fortnight. I would look no further for a solar company in the Sheffield area.

The technical work was carried out expeditiously and expertly with minimal disruption, and the technicians involved were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The team is all very responsive and supportive. I am delighted with the installation and can unreservedly recommend them in relation to the installation of a battery system for a car charger. Undoubtedly, I am sure these comments would apply to any other work they carry out. They have an excellent reputation here in Sheffield as an installer, which is well deserved!

I had this company to install an ev charger and solar panels with 10kw battery in my new address.i chose them because I knew they were well established and have been installing solar for a number of years. From initial site visit with Adam to install with Mike and the roofers was 4 weeks. Brilliant service and advice. Really pleased.
I engaged AW Electrics to retrofit a Givenergy storage battery and inverter to an existing roof mounted solar pv system. Their representative Mike visited my property carried out a survey and advised me on the system best suited to complement my existing setup. Their quotation for the work was competitive and once accepted they gave me an installation date which they were able to bring forward due to a cancellation. The installation work was carried out with care and the system was commissioned by Mike the following day and is working exactly as intended. I cannot praise AW Electrics enough from Adam who came to survey our property and determine its suitability; to Wendy in the office ; to the team who came to do the installation. Adam sent very comprehensive quotation information with options for us. The installation team were thoroughly professional, extremely hardworking, cheerful and friendly. We were kept informed throughout and given choices about certain elements. All the packaging was cleared and taken away and our property left tidy. If you are looking for a Solar Panel installation at home then look no further than AW Electrics! I cannot speak highly enough of the prompt, professional and friendly service provided by Adam, Mike and Michelle. From site inspection, fully detailed prospectus, predicted output, correction for shading, through to a full quotation with breakdown of costs, all information was provided promptly with no pressure to accept. Having accepted the quotation, the installation proceeded on time and was completed in one day, even though the scaffolders were late! I am delighted with the result - the equipment is functioning as predicted and even on a cloudy day, I am drawing almost no current from the grid during daylight hours, and the battery continues to supply most of my usage after dark. Brilliant! This is a great company to do business with and I highly recommend them Well done AW Electrics!
