Ledger Electrical

Simon at Ledger Electrical is a great example of “if you want something done, ask a busy man.” He managed to fit me in a day earlier than planned, which suited me perfectly, and was flexible, efficient, and professional throughout. The work was completed exactly as described, fully tested, and certification provided. Simon is NAPIT registered, which gave real confidence in the quality and safety of the work. Highly recommended — reliable and easy to deal with.

This young man came to do some electrical work in my garden, can I just say it was a pleasure he is very professional definitely knows his job left house tidy and didn't over charge. Will definitely be using him again and happy to pass on his details to any my family and friends

Simon came out accessed the house for a full rewire. Really competitive pricing and really good quality work. Even fitted ethernet wiring upon request. Highly recommended!

Simon offered to do a series of P.A.T testing for numerous electrical items in our Scout Group. Not only did he respond in super fast time. He offered to do the job for nothing, as we are a Charity. I will definitely be using him for any electrical work in my own house and very grateful for the kindness, efficiency & response to our request to meet this vital safeguard for our Group. Needed an electrician to sort out a faulty landing light. Rang Simon, who found time to call the same afternoon. He promptly fixed the issue. He was also very considerate and kindly took off his trainers, before walking onto our light carpets. Very happy with his prompt, professional manner. Would recommend him and have added another trusty tradesman to our list! Thanks Simon 💡👍

We have used Ledger Electrical at our church for several jobs now and found them to be very helpful, friendly and efficient - and our jobs are never easy, being a Grade 1 listed medieval building!. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Simon sorted out our outside wiring for us connecting an outside supply to the fuse box and creating outdoor plugs. Simon was friendly throughout and explained thoroughly the work that would be needed. He was always quick to respond to messages and when providing a quote for the work his invoice gave a clear breakdown of the costs. His pricing was always fair and affordable for the work that needed completing. When undergoing the work he was kind and professional. I was impressed by the care he took of our property and how tidy it was left after he had completed the job. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Simon and will definitely use him again.

If I marked out of 10 would give 12. Fast friendy and very helpful.

It's always been a pleasure to have Simon in my house for any electrical job, because he'sscrupulously honest, and if he cant do an urgent job right away, he'llcall with a cancellation without even being asked. . He's also given good advice over the phone regardless of whether it leads to a job.

Simon came to check a newly purchased house for any wiring issues and to get a certificate. He fixed little bits that needed doing while here, reset the security alarm and explained the modes, and was just generally super helpful and friendly when being asked a million questions. Work all looks great too! Absolutely recommend, having him back to do more work later on. Thanks!

Having just moved house we needed a lot of work doing to our new house. We tried other but now, Simon is our go to guy. Always punctual and great value.

Very helpful young man

Brilliant service, great to deal with & reasonable prices. Too many positive words to say about Simon. Excellent service, a joy to have completing work for me. Really recommend. Thank you

I had Simon come and do a complete rewire on a 1940s bungalow which had seen better days. He turned up on time every visit he made (entire rewire broken down into stages due to building works). He kept me informed whilst working and was also very clear on price changes due to changes in material costs. He was flexible with the layout as well as I changed my socket positions around a few times but he just cracked on. What I like about Simon is that he doesn't sugar coat. It something is difficult, not to code or impossible, he says so and doesn't compromise for any reason (as it should be with electrical installations). Overall, a sound guy, honest and gets things done. Top job and happy with the entire house.

Excellent service as always - this is the third time I’ve used Simon for electrical work, and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone. Polite, professional and always a fair price. Always leaves the impression of a job safely completed.

Simon was very punctual and got on with the work. He fitted me a new fuse box and some other small jobs that needed doing, all of which I am very happy with. A great guy and I highly recommend him.

Installed 2 Ethernet points. Very clean and tidy work. Nice bloke, would highly recommend.

Prompt, reliable and efficient service. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this firm again.

Really good service and will definitley use again

Great service ....very professional..would reccomend.

Simon had to find an electrical wiring fault, was punctual, started work straight away and never stopped till he found the fault, got total trust in him and would highly recommend

What can I say. Simon is a true gent. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I don’t want to say too many good things about him because he’ll get too busy and I’ll never get him back. In all seriousness though, very neat and tidy, very accommodating in going that extra mile. Final bill was much less than the quote. That’s almost unheard of. Will always use him for any electrical work. Cheers Simon

Great service at great prices. Installed an electric flood light for me at a reasonable price. Came on time when he said he would. Thanks Simon would definitely recommend to family & friends

Highly recommend. Very professional and friendly. Always fixes whatever the problem is for a good price. Always finds time to fit us in. Cannot fault at all. Top notch electrician, wouldn’t use anyone else now

Simon did a great job relocating some switches, installing new sockets in areas that didn’t have any sockets, fitting under cabinet lighting and plinths spots, and doing all our garden and outside lighting. Really pleased with the finish. Simon did an excellent job at a reasonable price and would use him again if we needed any other electrical work doing.

Simon is a true hero. He arrived bang on time and managed to fix all the mistakes I’d made with changing a light fitting! He’s a perfectionist and very tidy - he made sure everything was to our liking. I will definitely use Ledger Electrical in the future. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent Service from Simon. Professional, honest, reliable and experienced Electrician who was able to find and resolve my issue without me having to spend thousands on a rewire (unfortunately as quoted by others). Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Simon throughout the job was patient to our needs of some lights in our garden and went through all the options including drawing out and showing exactly what it may look like. Went over and above to make sure we were happy, tidy and professional. Would recommend him wholeheartedly for every electrical need. Hard to find someone in trade who is honest as him and would say he’s definitely value for money. Thanks for everything!

I've had 2 orders done this last year by Simon and was very happy with both visits. Great communication and got my moneys worth.

Friendly and professional would definitely recommend and use in the future.

Simon and Ricky are easily the most professional, tidy, expert, polite, diligent, conscientious, trustworthy and punctual tradesmen I have ever had the pleasure of employing in my 50 years of life. Simon (and Ricky) have installed additional electrical sockets throughout our property, sorted out potentially dangerous wiring that 2 other qualified electricians missed, installed cctv, a full alarm system, wiring and lighting to the garage, outdoor sockets, outdoor lighting, lighting in the loft, a bathroom extractor fan and lighting and also relocated the wiring for the router from the hall to the lounge. I have asked for extra work to be done as work has progressed and Simon has been 100% accommodating and very fair with pricing for the work, even removing items from the bill when things weren't needed to be used. To say myself and my wife are overjoyed with the work is an understatement, we couldn't be happier and would never dream of using anyone else for our electrical/security work. Don't hesitate, ring Simon right now to book your appointment and be as happy as us at the end of the job. I can sum up my experience with Ledger electrical in one word..... Perfect! 😊

Simon carried out some electrical installation and testing job's for me and found he is professional and reliable so would recommend his service's

Excellent job done . very good rates . Would definitely recommend

Simon was absolutely excellent. Friendly, professional and fast. The work was carried out with an eye for detail and any mess was cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend!

I am a little late with this review as the electrical work in question took place back in July and September 2020, so a few months ago but we were rather busy with the renovation of our home so didn`t get the chance to write this until now. At first we have found Simon`s details online and contacted him for a quote for various jobs that needed doing like relocating and replacing a fuse box, fitting new LED downlights, fitting new lights in 3 rooms, replacing old switches and plug sockets as well as installing some extra of these. All I can say that from the very first initial phone call, he was utmost professional and helpful. He arrived on time and actually took his time to understand all of our requirements and to make sure that he can deliver exactly what we were wanting. A couple of days later he gave us a very competitive quote and a fair timeline to start the job so after careful consideration, we have decided to opt for his services. He always turned up on time with only one exception when he had an emergency job but he made sure that he has worked the extra time at another day. He carried out an exceptional work and we are incredibly happy with the result. I can only wish that all of our workmen would`ve been as great as Simon was because if so, then we would be done long time ago however sadly that just isn`t the case but that is a for a different review. I can highly recommend Ledger Electrical to anyone needing electrical work doing and would like to say a MASSIVE thank you again to Simon for the super high-tech finish that we wanted and he delivered.

Needed to fix a problem with my lighting. Called the same day, fixed the problem very quickly and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended and will certainly use again.

Always on time , reasonable price , would highly recommend him .

They turned up on time to do our electrical safe certificate and earthing spike. Very professional service and polite, sociable lads. I would highly recommend them and would definitely call upon their services in the future. After being messed about by other electricians I was relieved to finally find good service. Thankyou Simon and Matt.

Prompt, knowledgeable and tidy!

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Very professional but friendly and Simon really went the extra mile for me. I offered extra money for the extra job that he did for me but he refused to take the extra payment offered. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Simon did all the wiring, sockets & lighting for my garage/studio conversion and did a cracking job. Nice friendly bloke, informative & good value for money as well. Would definitely recommend in the future! 10/10

Could not recommend any higher. We rang in the morning and half hour later he was at our door ready to fix the problem. Sortes it straight away and highlighted a problem that could be dangerous. A couple of days later he was back and fixed that problem to. We definitely will be using him for any future problems or work we need.

I used Ledger Electrical to move, add & re-wire a whole bunch of sockets and lighting in our house that we have just bought and are renovating. They were fantastic from start to finish. Quick, efficient and reliable. Would most definitely recommemd. Great value for money.

Rang Ledger Electrical after lights failed on the ground floor of my daughters home. It was an emergency for us as my grandson had just come out of hospital and was still being tube fed. He attended within a couple of hours there was no call out charge and his rates were clearly explained and very competitive. He managed to find the fault and fix it and kept us updated throughout. Its always a worry i think using a trades person for the first time but was so impressed with Ledger Electrical have already booked him to do work on my own home. Would have no hesitation recommending this company to family and friends. Great service great work

Super efficient professional quick response and solve my problems cannot recommend this company more highly if you want an efficient job contact them Bryn Birks

Absolutely bang on this firm quick reliable fairly priced cleans as he goes and polite would definitely recommend

Really great service. Would definitely use again

We used Simon on two occasions originally to sort out all our electrics for the new kitchen I was installing. As expected, we came across lots of issues with the existing wiring however, Simon was able to make sense of what had been done before and essentially, rewired the whole room to ensure it was up to current regulations and more importantly safe. Simon has a great knowledge of his profession, works very methodically and definitely takes pride in what he does. Based on the work he did in our kitchen, we asked Simon to come back and install a new consumer unit to replace the garbage one we inherited when we bought the house. Again, his work was done to an exceptional standard and we now have peace of mind that everything is correct and as it should be. The biggest compliment I can give to Simon is that you never know he's been as everything is just as tidy and clean as it was before he started. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon to anyone else and he will always be our first point of contact if we have any more electric work in the future.

Excellent work carried out very professionally. Simon works methodically, doesn’t cut corners and even rectified mistakes he found others had made on my electrics. I would highly recommend Simon, in fact he’s coming back to me to replace electrical safety items which are time expired. Don’t hesitate to call/contact him.

Excellent service from start to finish friendly and very professional. Will be using again and would recommend Ledger electrical to everyone.
