We were having issues with the gate entry system inherited with the house we had just moved too. Nick came up with a great solution for us. Gave us a chance to see the system working at their unit. Once we gave them the go ahead install was prompt and professional.
Our gates were fixed in the allotted time-span and Callum was efficient and respectful in carrying out the work.
Really excellent service, keen, knowledgeable, skilled and arrived at short notice for an earthing issue. We were expecting an assessment and ‘Ok, we can do this in x days/weeks…’ - no … ‘We loaded the van with what we thought we might need to do the job: we can sort it for you right now!’ A couple of hours later and it was all done and dusted! Highly recommended! Have had them back a couple of times to do some scheduled work and each time they've been excellent, both in quality of work and on-site helpfulness. We've booked them in to do a lot more for us in the near future (moved into a new-to-us house which needs a lot of work) and they've even assigned us a project manager to make sure it all goes smoothly!. Highly recommended.
Pleasant and friendly team, Initially paid £530 for install of a circuit cable and tails isolation switch,? for a heat exchanger, when they left it kept tripping, engineer came out again , responsive team, issue sorted with C breaker due to sensitivity of the heat exchanger. Definitely use them again

Having recently downsized within Dorset to a relatively large bungalow, found a rather 'wanting' electrical environment that was in need of serious improvement. The tasks included installing a previously owned EV charger, upgrading the 'fuse box', connecting a new induction cooker, adding numerous sockets, altering lighting wiring to provide logical switching options and ending with proper certification. Kelvyn and apprentice Jake worked tirelessly over many days, always cheerful and eager to please and technically, very neat and tidy work. Would be happy to bring them back if we get around to going solar and batteries etc.

The Green Light team did a fantastic job installing the electrics for our two sets of driveway gates. The gates are large and heavy and having them working electronically is so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble and it’s good to be able to use such a reliable local business.

GLE did a great job diagnosing and fixing our existing gate system. They rehung the gate and aligned everything nicely, and the wiring in the new box is so much tidier than the old one. 👍
They dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently and we did not have any problem with the final outcome.
We had an issue with a circuit not working and in no time at all, GLE had identified the problem and came two days later with the necessary parts. They were quick and very nice to deal with and we are very pleased we contacted them.
The install team were great, the ground work compamny they contracted were very fast and tidy. I would recommdend using them for high quality gate installs.
The initial problem of a faulty circuit was attended to promptly and corrected. This did identify that some switch gear and circuit breakers were in poor condition and being now out-of-date, could not be repaired. As a second job, these were replaced the following day with modern equipment. Everything was done promptly and with good humour.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. From the first site visit and technical specification/style-design decisions right through to installation and testing, there isn't a single aspect of the process or indeed team member I could fault. Apart from how helpful, experienced/knowledgeable and accessible everyone is what I appreciated most in working with GL was how transparent they were and how I was kept informed of every step of the process. Thrilled with the result and would highly recommend!
I contacted the company for an electric gate. Nick the boss came out and suggested a bespoke semi circular gate to match the existing fence. In addition the gate had to rise as the ground was not level. The work was recently completed after some angst and head scratching as it was far from easy. There were a few obstacles to overcome and times I thought it impossible. To everyone's credit they persevered and throughout Nick kept reassuring me that the gate would be finished as per the original design and that I would be satisfied. Well I am satisfied as I believe they have done a great job. The team of young men are a credit to the company. They were all polite professional workers. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Green Light has responded very quickly to all electrical issues, which include our recurring entrance gate problems, car park entry key pad, emergency lighting etc. Kelvyn' s next jobs are the safety control panel for our entrance gates, the building entrance keypad buttons and the car park lights. We tryst him implicitly.

I was recommended these guys by the company that made our new gates and am delighted they did so. Everyone I have had contact with at Greenlight has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They completed the original job they quoted for on-time, to a high standard and with zero dramas but what was particularly impressive was how they dealt with the curved ball (and frankly bloody stupid questions I asked !) that I threw them after they had completed that job. These guys know their stuff and go out of their way to help, can't recommend them highly enough. Nick and team quoted for and installed solar panels for us. Very helpful in suggesting options for us and devoted a lot of his time to liaising in connection with associated roofing work. We’ve been very impressed throughout with Nick’s approach and with the professional installation work done by Arthur and Jordan. Would highly recommend.
I contacted Green Light for a quote for Solar PV Panel installation at the end of March 2023, getting their name from the MCS website and being local to the area. Nick contacted me by phone for an initial phone chat and very quickly produced an initial draft proposal. We arranged a visit to our house to discuss it further and firm up proposals. Nick was punctual and very informative and very keen on Solar. All our questions were answered, he did a thorough site survey and I said we were getting other quotes, which he was supportive of. He then supplied a firm quote which included a consumer (fuse box) unit replacement at the same time. Whilst I was waiting for other quotes Nick was quick to answer any follow up questions we had. The quote from the company was competitive with others and at the beginning of April we accepted the quote and booked a date for installation in May. The deposit could be paid by bank transfer or credit card to give the extra protection under section 75. The Monday agreed on in May arrived and Arthur and colleague arrived to start work, scaffolding had been put up the week before. We discussed a change of location of the inverter and battery if possible and that was incorporated so both were fitted downstairs instead of in the loft. They both worked tirelessly throughout the week, arriving about 0800hrs and not leaving until 1630hrs and seemed to work through any tea and lunch breaks. The work was completed with little mess and what there was was all cleaned up by end of the day. We were expecting more visible wiring trunking, inside and outside but they managed to use the wall cavity to run the wiring from the panels to the consumer unit/inverter so the little visible trunking is all extremely neat and contained around the inverter and battery. The consumer unit change replaced 2 old fuse units and looks so much neater. Whilst the wiring was being changed Arthur wired in sockets so we weren't left totally without electric for the day it took for the unit to be replaced, a nice touch really. On Fri afternoon the work was completed, the Solar panels producing electricity, work area left clean and tidy. A minor issue with battery connectivity was soon resolved the next working day. All in all I would recommend Nick and his company for their obvious commitment to providing a quality service, who are professional, want to do a professional job, arrive on time and work extremely hard to complete a job on time and to a very high standard. A job well done that we are very satisfied with. Nick and his team are to be commended.

Excellent service from this company. Initially used as an electrical emergency during the Christmas period, arrived very promptly even though they should've been closed, as all other engineers were. I am now using them to fix my electric gates. All staff I have been in contact with ( Office Manager, electrical engineers and the 'boss') have been extremely polite and very efficient. Green Light Electrical came to the Lymington Save The Children shop to fit a new heater switch for the front door heater. Even though the work was carried out during shop opening times, it was done very professionally and without disruption to the customers or store staff.
