I want to share my experience of Embassy Electrics and Matthew as their service was absolutely brilliant. I am a tenant and experienced a mini explosion when the electricity was supposedly turned off. I was frightened and immediately phoned Matthew as his company had consistently very high reviews. Matt phoned me back and attended extremely quickly. He discovered that the problem was caused by an unsafe installation and - despite having another job to go to - said he wasn’t prepared to leave the electrics in such a dangerous state. He phoned Clarendons, my rental agency, and explained exactly what he had found and the potentially lethal consequences that could have resulted. Matt sent photos to Clarendons there and then and immediately authorised the remedial works. I was extremely shaken up and Matthew not only corrected the faulty installation but was almost brilliant at explaining everything calmly which was exactly what the situation required.
A neighbour recommended me Matt. Matt was very quick to come and quote for the job. He communicated well on the options available and then carried out the work efficiently and cleared up well. Definitely recommend !!
Matt is incredibly courteous and polite, and works efficiently and in a careful and professional manner. He took the time to find out exactly what we wanted, and patiently talked through the options. Considering how little I understand electrics, Matt was never patronising, as some workmen can be. He is reliable and his rates were reasonable. I would highly recommend Matt and will definitely use him again.

Matthew did a great job and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others. He is intelligent, thorough, meticulous, and helpful. He listens and communicates well. He is very reliable, punctual and pleasant to work with. He did a lot of complicated work for us over 4.5 days including rewiring, installing a new consumer unit, connecting underfloor heating, and making everything safe. We really enjoyed having him working in our home and we will definitely be using his services again.
Matt did a fantastic job for us when our kitchen circuits started tripping. Even though it was his planned day, off, he spent the day with us isolating all the possible options, explaining in layman's terms what he was doing at each step, fixing up problems with external plugs and internal wiring that was arcing through a small dishwasher leak he discovered, and also addressing potential problems with the RCD fuseboard on a return trip. I have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Embassy Electrics, both for the quality of work and for the calm professionalism with which it is carried out.
Matt is honest, trustworthy and value for money. He has recently rescued me from an incompentent fitter who left me with an ungrounded kitchen and bathroom.
Matthew came to our rescue when we moved into our new home and helped us hugely in nearly all rooms. He came over to go through all of the electrics in the home and then advised us as needed on the best options for the lighting that we required. He helped to resolve our fan in the bathroom and changed many of the old spotlights to a better energy saving option. Matthew was brilliant from start to end and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. We will certainly call him back if we have any other difficulties in the future.
Matthew is our electrician of choice and I have no hesitation to recommend him. He is extremely knowledgable and very through on his work. We feel safe under his care. He is reliable, tidy, polite and has time to listen and advise on alterations. A great service.
Mathew was very thorough in his work. He had to correct mistakes made by previous workman which had been left in a dangerous manner could have been electrocuted or a fire. Mathew was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. I was very impressed by his work. I am now confident that the property is safe. Mathew is also very polite and friendly. I would strongly recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.
