Maxim Electrical Contractors Ltd

Really happy to have found Maxim. They installed light fittings at my home and were easy to contact, quick to respond, flexible and did high quality work. I can't recommend them highly enough, and will definitely be using them again.

Michael and Liam did a great job, replacing sockets and tracing and sorting out an elec fault. Very friendly and professional, with reasonable prices. Also explained what they were doing and why. Thanks so much. I would highly recommend them.

Have had Maxim in a few times over the years and the work is always to a high standard. Everything is explained and communicated really well, and options are always given. Would highly recommend

My home had to have a full rewire and Mike and Liam @Maxim Electrical provided a First Class service from start to finish. I must say their work ethic is phenomenal! Nothing is too much trouble and they will go above and beyond to help in every conceivable way. I found them to be most reliable, knowledgeable helpful, considerate, courteous and very likeable. I'm truly thrilled with the work and I can't recommend them enough. Reasonably priced too. 5* service indeed!

Amazing work done by a great company and guy. When contacted for an electrical job, Michael said he was booked up for 2 weeks. I said I would wait as he came recommended. 2 days later he found the time to come and look at the job, then 2 days later came and did the job. So appreciative of the effort and time put in to sort our problem out. Would recommend without hesitation. Chris Evans.

I would really recommend Michael and his team. They have been reliable from day 1 which as a business ourselves is something that is important to us. Anything along the way that has popped up(which is bound to happen), Michael has given us plenty of options as well as giving me his advise where I asked, they ensured that everything was completed to the best standard, him and Liam went above my expectations to ensure completion in our intended timescale, despite any pop ups. Customer service is great, and the work they've completed for us is everything we've asked for and more. Thanks again!

Mike and Liam were incredibly professional and efficient throughout the entire job. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they carefully listened to every request we made, making sure everything was completed exactly as we wanted. They were also very considerate of our family and work schedule, working around our daily life to get the job done with minimal disruption. They spent full days making sure every aspect of the work was completed properly, leaving no task overlooked. What really stood out was their commitment to solving any issues that came up — even when unexpected problems arose, they took the time to get to the root of it rather than rushing the job, even if it meant delaying other work they had planned. Their dedication to doing everything correctly was truly appreciated, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The guys came round to check a few issues I had. Were really helpful with diagnosing the problems and advised me of solutions. The work was done to a high standard with no mess left behind. They were very professional but happy to have a chat. I will definitely be using them again for all electrical needs. Thanks guys!

Michael came out at short notice to remove an old alarm panel and thermostat for us. He was friendly, professional and took care to explain what he was doing throughout. He checked before moving around the house, left everything tidy, and made sure we understood what had been done. A genuinely pleasant experience for what was only a small job. Would definitely use him again.

Great service would highly recommend. Completed a full electrical survey, rewiring of lights, loft lighting, front door light and a replacement if sockets. All done professionally, in half a day less than quoted and very polite lads. Cleaned up after them selves and were always on time with what was agreed. Very good with communication by text and phone. Would definitely get back again!

Michael and Liam were absolutely professional, attentive and polite throughout the whole process. They worked on our house for a number of days and it was clear from the outset that they take great pride in their work. Their attention to detail is second to none (even the screws on sockets are perfectly aligned!) and they helped us out with numerous issues we'd been facing since moving in. Great guys! They fitted new board, fixed around plug sockets and refitted ceiling lights. Also kindly put up a wall mounted TV for us. Very quick work and trustworthy people :)

This company is the very best I’ve dealt with, when I need a fast and effective professional, skilled service; for my elderly Mother, who is registered Blind. Please use, with the assurance to prompt reliable, quality, well priced work.

Came out short notice on the Sunday evening of the bank holiday weekend. Good comms and stayed until all resolved. V reasonable price.

Phenomenal service from Maxim Electrical from start to finish. Honest reliable trustworthy company. We had full house rewire and the work and price was amazing. I originally called Maxim as my lights had gone off. Late on a Friday night I called and they came out promptly. The issue was that the wiring on the house had not been done for over 30 years. Michael fixed the lights then told me the house would need rewiring due to safety he had to tell me. He did not pressure us whatsoever he told me to get quotes from other companies too. I was so impressed with his honesty and integrity and experience that I told him to do the re wiring. Best thing ever it was done in a week. We went on holiday and when we came back the re wiring was done. House spoltlessy clean and job amazing. They are still on hand if we need anything. Superb company one million per cent trustworthy honest and reliable. Please use this company if you want excellent work by professionals 😃

I recently hired Michael to handle some electrical work at my home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the start, he was punctual, professional, and transparent about the scope of work and pricing. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and completed everything efficiently and safely. Not only was the quality of the work top-notch, but he also left the workspace clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that he cares about his work and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again .

Amazing service from start to finish. Very prompt at responding, attended my house the same day and fixed within the hour. Reasonably priced and would highly recommend

Excellent service, I would highly recommend

Mike and Liam at Maxim Electrical were very pleasant, respectful and professional and knew their job,so much so that after the original job of providing new sockets, lights and fused spares in our new kitchen extension we asked them back to upgrade the consumer unit, test the the whole electrical system and provide a very comprehensive certification I would certainly recommend Maxim Electrical

Michael is by far the most professional electrician we have used. Really good advice, sensible price, clean tidy and punctual. Highly recommended!

We first used Maxim electrical for a re-wire of our commercial unit, which required 3-phase. After that, we used them for one of our. Commercial projects and more.... Maxim electrical are now our "go-to" electrical contractors, they are happy to travel (unlike most) and always help out where required. I have absolutely not hesitation when recommending Micheal and his team.

Excellent experience with Michael & his team. They are one of those rare contractors that always reply "yeah, we can do that". So refreshing & I can highly recommend them.

Michael and his team are some of the best contractors we’ve worked with over the last 12 months of completing our home renovations. MAXIM have proven themselves to be reliable and professional, with realistic and transparent pricing. We have no hesitations in writing this recommendation and will happily use again in the future.

The job Michael quoted for actually became more complicated when started. However all got sorted without any fuss or stress. It is vital to have confidence in your tradespeople and Michael and Liam his apprentice fill you with it. Great people! Fully recommend.

I’ve no hesitation in recommending Maxim Electrical Ltd. I received quotes from Michael for the repair or replacement of an extractor fan which I accepted. The job was done 2 days later and I was invoiced the next day by email. Liam was exceptional - polite, careful and knowledgable. Job done. Thank you!

Needed an electrician to examine my tenants’ oven (initially recommended by my cousin who has already solicited their services). Michael was so kind to attend despite a very busy schedule and give a professional advice which has not charged for. Apart from his professional advice, the polite behaviour Michael has shown and the language chosen can tell the difference from others. Highly recommended no doubt! Wael

Rewired my house and did an amazing job. I'm getting my kitchen done soon and only one person I'll be using

I have used the MAXIM team for work both at home and then for work at my industrial premises. Highly recommend them for the efficient work conducted in a courteous manner.

Michael and his team carried out their work professionally and considerately. They are trustworthy and price themselves fairly. I wouldn't ask any other contractor if I needed work doing.

We used Maxim Electrical initially for when we had an outside room built. Very happy with the professionalism of Michael and his team, and the speed with which they issued all the certifications to us. So happy in fact that we got them back to Certify when we had a new RCB Consumer Unit installed indoors. Recommend them to a friend, and would happily use / recommend then again. Good guys.

Michael and his team carried out work in my home. Always on time and did a fantastic job. New lights and sockets throughout kitchen extension, ovens and new hob fitted and outside lighting. Michael even called back with a replacement bulb weeks after when he was in the area to ensure one of the older lights matched. Nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything clearly and always tidied up afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone. A fantastic service. Thanks Michael and team.

Mike is a very credible professional. He solves problems, is very thorough and incredibly trustworthy. A really nice fella too. Mike is my go-to for any electrical work now.

I genuinely cannot praise Michael enough for the electrical work he has done for my dad – he is incredibly hard-working and thoughtful and really does go the extra mile. His work is absolutely first-class and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mike and Liam carried out work on my daughters house in Warrington after it was totally gutted and renovated. They replaced the circuit board and completed wiring up all new downlighters in every room, plug sockets, light switches, extractor for toilet, shaver socket, exterior security lighting and much more for the whole house. They worked well with the other trades onsite. Completing a great job. My daughter and her husband have been living in the property over a year now and had no issues. Fair quote and excellent service, will use again and highly recommended if you want a trust worthy and friendly professional team.

We have used Maxim Electrical Services for several jobs, including trouble shooting and resolving problems previous contractors had left. Michael is professional, attends when he says he will. They provide a great service and leave the job finished to a high standard and tidy up afterwards too.

Had a full house rewire done in St Helens. Really pleased with Michael and his team. In fact Maxim are ONLY contractor we completely trust to do what they say, and when. Maxim are the only ones who haven't let us down one way or another. Would be happy to leave them in the house while we nip out. It's an 1900s house, and the guys where really careful to do as little damage as possible to the features of the house. The job is not quite complete yet, but they are great at coming out and doing the next phase when we are ready. We had wireless switches installed, which are great because it saved loads of channel lines. They are not common in residential buildings but Maxim where happy to work with us to understand what we wanted. Would I recommend Maxim Electrical, 1000%

Absolutely brilliant, always arrives on time and completes the job. Clean mess free and overall a great service. Great prices and very professional. Highly recommended.

Michael was recommended by a friend after we had an electrical fault on Sunday early evening. We are so glad he was after a previous bad experience. Michael came round immediately after making contact to have a look and made sure the house was safe for his return the next day. Michael did a full safety check and diagnosed the issue in no time, he also discovered a fault with one of the shower cabling joints in the loft which was fitted incorrectly and dangerously by a previous contractor. Michael showed me the burnt and melted plastic and safely isolated it. All work new electrical panel and full safety check of the sockets was completed within the working day and fully tested. An excellent job by a top bloke. If like me you've been ripped off in the past Michael is your Man, he comes with the highest recommendation. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Brilliant service and came out in his own time to help with our issue. Would highly recommend.

Michael was absolutely fantastic, efficient and professional I would highly recommend the company and will be using again in the future!

Really quick response (even on a Sunday!) and very clear on costs. Michael even rang to apologise for being 10 minutes late.

I called Maxim Electrical Contractors on a Saturday and they arrived within the hour. Very professional and methodically found and fixed our electric fault. Incredibly good value for money, simply the best customer service and a pleasure to deal with. I would have no reservation at all in recommending Maxim Electrical Contractors to anyone and would 100% use them in the future.

Needed an electrician at short notice. Mike was prompt and very efficient turning up to install an outside socket that was much needed really quickly. A very friendly and professional service that is highly recommended. Mike even made sure there was no dust left around. It was all cleaned up. I now have found myself a personal electrician. Thank you.

Mike diagnosed an issue with our cooker which other electricians weren't able to. He also sorted out some wiring issues we had. Very efficient and the price was reasonable John Whiston

Would recommend to any one has I have to my friends . Excellent standard of workmanship . Always prompt and arrives when he says

Mike turned up on time and found him to be very polite and professional. He installed a large ceiling light and was good enough to talk me through the installation method of which I appreciated as I know little about electrics but willing to learn. I asked him to consider future jobs ranging in complexity of which he appeared to be knowledgeable about. He is local to me and so would recommend and I would definitely use again.

An excellent job done by Mike and young Liam staying late into the night some days to ensure everything was up and running with no disruption to our daily lives I would recommend using Maxim to family and friends in the future without hesitation Thanks lad's

Recommended by another tradesman when I was renovating a house. Mick completed a whole house rewire with consumer unit, outside light and electric to outbuilding. Mick was professional and one of the nicest guys you will meet. Still need to meet up for that old fashioned.

Chose this company as they had good feedback and were approved. Michael was very prompt in replying and estimating work cost and schedule. Very pleased with work done and the friendly professional approach. Would recommend this company and will choose them for any future projects.

Fantastic company..turned up when they said they would....professional.... sorted faulty sockets, installed outside lights both back and front...installed outside sockets....put lighting up in house and garage and replaces numerous plug sockets and sorted an old fuse box in garage.... nothing too much trouble...came to do 2 jobs and ended up doing several.... would highly recommend....

Michael was polite and friendly on the phone, turned up on time the next day and did a great job - couldn't recommend more highly.

Difficult nowadays to find a good honest reliable tradesman. Michael is down to earth is very knowledgeable in his field and is very precise and tidy when it comes down to doing the work. He offers very reasonable quotes and nothing was any trouble for him. Having moved to the area recently I wouldnt hesitate to use him again and would definitely recommend him. First class service

Had micheal come round to quote me on a rewire for a kitchen knock through and new consumer unit, after I was messed around by two other electricians. Micheal turned when he said he would and got back to me within a couple of hours with a very competitive quote. He done first fix for me and was keen to crack on with second fix, however I was delayed by other trades. As soon as I rang micheal for second fix date he was there within 48 hours. Micheal was very patient with us and works very hard to give the customer exactly what they want. He is now our go to person for any electrical needs and will be recommended by myself for anyone who needs a electrican

PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL AND TIDY WORKMANSHIP I needed a new sub fuse board fitting as my current fuse board had no spares remaining. I would not hesitate to use this companies services again in future.

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. Great job, super efficient would highly recommend.

KevinD-247 VERY RELIABLE COMPANY Phoned Maxim Electrical quite late one evening as my fuse board kept tripping. I was worried as we had no hot water or heating throughout the house. Michael was able to come out straight away that night and rectified the fault immediately. I was more than impressed with the service given and will definitely use them again in the future.

Friendly service, polite and professional staff. Had them over for a kitchen refurb. The work was done to a high standard and they were done sooner than I expected. 5 stars, well recommended.
