I recently contacted to MJ Bird electricals to carry out some work, they were really great at understanding what work was required, got me a quote and arranged for an electircian to come round and do the work. The electrical engineer arrived bang on time and was thorough in checking the work required set to work doing a great job and cleaning up after. Absolutely faultless service, highly recommended.

Prompt, polite & helpful. I have used MJ Bird Electrical for several years and every time they have arrived on schedule, done the job neatly and quickly and to budget. They have been happy to take on a variety of work for me from the smaller - running network cables and installing speaker cables to the larger - DB Board, EV Charger & Hot Tub. At all times Michael explains what he is doing and is open to discuss the best way to achieve something that meets my needs as well as being electrically correct.

Storm hit my place pretty badly. I run a reptile rescue and electric only in sockets in certain places weren't working! Without Mike we would of probably had a lot of dead animals due to an issue from the rain that hit our garage that was causing the issue. Honestly 5* everything. Work was amazing so polite and helpful. And didn't complain about our very over protective doberman! Tip top! Amazing.. thank you so much!!!

Our experience with M J Bird Electrical was brilliant. We wanted plugs fitted in our loft and Mike came round to quote and then back to fit the plugs in the space of a couple of weeks. They did a great job, quick, tidy and even filled the wall where they'd added the new cable. They also went above and beyond as we had some carpet delivered on the day and they really kindly helped get it up into the loft. We're very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend.

Had the guys come around to give me a report on my electrics; came on time, boots left at door, thorough work and competitive quote followed. Needed a new master circuit board and other smaller jobs to do and also replaced old storage heaters. All jobs were very professionally completed and every socket and light fitting was checked and corrected if necessary. Great work and friendly and knowledgeable team, highly recommend.

Consumer Unit replaced, EV Zappi charger installed, summer house connected to house and consumer unit fitted with outside power point as well. All circuits from main consumer unit checked and tested.

When we first moved in, Mike did a a full safety check and then solved all of the issues identified, including replacing the main box. Also relocated and fitted a number of sockets / light fittings to our requirements. Explained everything as he progressed. Worked constantly throughout the days and was fairly priced.

Mike carried out an EICR certification for us along with some upgrade and replacement works. Throughout the whole process from initial quote to completion the service provided was excellent, his quote proved to be accurate and his schedule as detailed. We had never used Mike before but will not hesitate to use him again in the future, it also felt comfortable with him around our home, thank you. Throughout Mike was also highly COVID rules compliant.
Mike was fantastic! He listened to our electrical concerns and helped fix our kitchen lights (which had previously been poorly installed) and our outdoor lights. We contacted M J Bird electrical to relocate our landing lights so that we could hang some contemporary fittings in the stairwell. When he arrived to complete this job we also asked if he could fit some spotlights in the kitchen to replace our single bulb, which he agreed to do without issue and was able to give a extremely good quote on the spot. Mr Bird delivered a first class and professional service throughout and I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
