I initially approached Sam back in mid/late 2024 with a quote for power and internet to be connected to an outdoor office and shed due to be constructed. Due to various set backs construction ended up getting completed June 2025. During this time Sam remained patient and kept me updated if costs had changed from the initial quote such as the price for cable. The work was completed over two days with Sam and Dave keeping me informed of exactly what they intended to do as well as making sure all was understood prior to each activity. In particular Sam made sure there were no cuts in quality and safety, including an earthing rod system (something no other electrician had quoted for) as well as informing us of equipment updates, such as our PME system being quite old and likely due for replacement soon. Overall we are extremely happy with the quality of the work as well as the professionalism of Sam and Dave throughout.
Sam and his team did a wonderful job rewiring my whole home. From start to finish the guys were extremely reliable, trustworthy and professional. They gave me some good advice about where to place sockets and did a great job fitting my kitchen appliances as well as installing an outdoor light fitting and a new smoke alarm. They always left my place spotless each time they had finished. Would highly recommend these guys to anybody needing a trustworthy electrician with good knowledge and experience. Thanks a lot guys!
Sam and his team had to investigate and resolve an electrical issue in my parent’s house. As both my parents suffer with Alzheimer’s, Sam had to deal with the situation sympathetically whilst keeping me and my sister in the loop. A job well done. The quality of the workmanship is great.
Had a full house rewire with new fuse board on a 4 bed semi-detached. Sam came round a couple of times before to make sure we had everything covered on the quote. After a number of quotes went with Sam as he really knows what he is doing, has great customer service and shows up on time. Him and his team were great and worked really hard to get the rewire completed in a timely fashion, even coming in on a saturday. On the last day Sam and the team stayed till 7pm to get everything done and the house was super tidy, even mopped the floors! Quality work at a good price! 100% recommend!!!

Sam and team did the electrical installation from start to finish on my new build house. Power/data/TV cables were installed with passivhaus airtightness detailing where required. They also installed power/data to an external garden room, fitted recessed stair lights, connected solar PV, sewage pump, MVHR etc. Sam worked out a solution with 3 phase power to get things running in time for moving into the property. I hired Switchfix for a full rewire of a 3 bed house. They did a great job, all the cabling is very neat and tidy, and it only took them just over a week. There were a few minor issues but they came back and fixed them for no extra charge within a week.
Sam -electrician was excellent. He responded quickly to my initial enquiry and came to the property within a day to review the job. Once we booked in a date for the consumer unit installation he communicated regularly about time of arrival at the property. On site he and his team were efficient and competent. Very responsive, our first time doing anything of this nature, and Sam explained it really well for us to understand, and gave us idea how to structure the lights, very professional and met my needs. Good price arranged to carry out the work at a reasonable waiting time, carried out the rewiring to a high standard even with the complications they encountered due to some old wiring issues in our house. Talked us through what and why they were doing things this way. Helpful as we were living in the house with our pets while they were carrying out the work and they tidied up every night after they completed that days work. Happy workmen very professional.
