AS Electrical & Security - Birmingham, GB-ENG

Really helpful and honest service. I had an old house alarm going off and didn’t know the code. Instead of charging me for a pointless callout, he helped me over FaceTime, showed me where the fuse was, and explained what to do. Saved me money and stress. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely thrilled with the electrical work Adam did in my kitchen! From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and clearly takes real pride in his work. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and my kitchen looks amazing. Adam went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention also has to go to his trusty apprentice, who worked just as hard—and who turned out to be a surprisingly gifted singer! The soundtrack definitely made the job even more entertaining. 🎤⚡ If you’re looking for an electrician who does a fantastic job, genuinely cares about his customers even when they can’t count!, and even brings a bit of good humour to the day, Adam is your man. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will definitely be calling him again for any future electrical work. Five stars all the way!

My second job done by AS now. Full alarm system as well this time round as well as the Hik 8k colour cameras. Blown away. Thank you very much Adam. Great service and very professional. Would highly recommend AS Electrical & Security. I’m truly blown away with how good the Hikvision Colorvu cameras are. As somebody coming from Ring cameras to these the only way I can describe it is it’s like I was blind but now I can see🤣 Hardwired cameras is the way to go for sure. Everyone needs these cameras. I know who I will be calling for my Electrical & Security needs from now on. AS A*

We have used Adam for many years and is the only electrician we use across our 6 sites and trust. Adam understands the needs of our business and completes the work set out in a timely manner to high standard. Adam has installed CCTV and security systems across all our sites and also carried out board changes and lots of other electrical works. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Adam, from Ashley, Lauren and the rest of the Trinity Respite Services team.

Excellent service! Really informative in explaining how it all works and was super quick to fit the alarm and sensors. Highly recommended!

We had our Pyronix alarm system serviced today by Adam that he fitted a couple of years ago, all thoroughly checked, batteries replaced and system tested. Usual professional approach and very much customer focused in all the dealings I have had with AS Security, highly recommended for any electrical or security systems you require.

Highly recommend AS Electrical & Security! As a new homeowner, I knew very little about these systems. The team was incredibly professional and took the time to explain everything clearly, from how things work to daily maintenance. This was a huge help and gave me total peace of mind. Excellent and professional service! 👍🏻

New CCTV system fitted by Adam and Sean who recommended what cameras to have and where to position them for best coverage. He was very competitive price-wise, knowledgeable, tidy and completed the job in a timely manor. We are very pleased with the completed job and would highly recommend.

Adam does a really great job, arriving on time and completing the installation and set up professionally. He is meticulously tidy, taking great care to work with your wishes as to positioning the equipment and makes sure you understand how to operate the system before he leaves. You won’t be disappointed!

Highly recommended AS Electrical, I contacted him for an electrical certification at short notice and he was able to fit me within the time frame needed. Adam was very friendly and informative and carried the work out in a timely manner. He explained what the job entailed and answered all questions I asked. I will be sure to ask upon Adam for any future electrical work required.

Great friendly service and high quality product, highly recommend Really good product and fitted perfectly, attentive to what I was asking as a customer! Used twice now with my house moves and wouldn’t use anyone else 🫡

Excellent comms, always on time, friendly and did everything that needed doing. Sympathetic to my requests about not using our doorbell as my dog was in recovery. Empathetic and this meant a lot to us.

Adam was very professional and reliable. His work was complete to an excellent standard.

I've have now used Adam twice for a landlord certification certificate and both times have been impressed by communication on arrangements to enter a rental property, time keeping, and any work or recommendations on future work that may be required in the future. I will certainly call him again when required and would feel confident in recommending him to friends and family - thank you Adam

We recently had AS Electrical & Security install a Pyronix Enforcer alarm system and Hikvision ColorVu CCTV system at our home and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Adam was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable in what he does. From the initial discussions, he took the time to understand exactly what I wanted from both the alarm and CCTV system, while also giving helpful recommendations on what he thought would work best for the layout of the property. I appreciated that he was open to my own ideas as well and was happy to tailor the system to suit my needs rather than just pushing a standard setup. The installation itself was completed to a very high standard. All cabling has been hidden neatly and the overall finish looks incredibly clean and professional. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into the work. The placement of the cameras and sensors was well thought out and the end result gives great coverage around the property without looking untidy. The Pyronix Enforcer alarm system is brilliant and very easy to use through the ProControl+ app. Being able to control the system and receive real time notifications from anywhere gives real peace of mind. The Hikvision ColorVu cameras are also seriously impressive, especially the image quality and colour night vision. The LiveGuard features are another great addition and make the system feel far more advanced than standard CCTV. What also stood out was that Adam didn’t just install everything and leave. He took the time to fully explain how the systems work, helped set everything up on my phone, and made sure I was comfortable using all the features before he left. Overall, the service, workmanship, communication, and quality of the install were all top class. If you’re considering having an alarm or CCTV system fitted, I would highly recommend AS Electrical & Security.

Super work. Very knowledgeable on what’s available. Clean and tidy.

Would highly recommend Great aftercare no query too small very reliable and professional

Adam and Charlie were amazing. We were dealing with some poor historic electrics from the previous owner of our house. Adam and Charlie overcame so many obstacles, kept us informed, and resolved all our problems so quickly. Incredibly happy with the finish on the spotlights, sockets and under cupboard lighting. Would highly recommend!

I recently had my alarm system installed by AS Electrical & Security, and I’m extremely pleased with the whole experience. From start to finish, their service was professional, reliable, and carried out to a very high standard. Adam arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was installed neatly and without disruption. What stood out most was their attention to detail and willingness to explain how the system works, making sure I felt confident using it before they left. It’s made a big difference to my peace of mind knowing my property is now properly secured. I would highly recommend AS Electrical & Security to anyone looking for trustworthy and skilled professionals for alarm systems or electrical work.

Great prompt and professional service from Adam

Great friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

AS Electrical offer a great, reliable and quality service. Adam and his team did the full electric fit out of our extension, as well as our CCTV and alarm system. They are very responsive and went through a lot of detail to help ensure we had everything covered. Couldn’t speak highly enough of them and would strongly recommend them always. Very trustworthy!

I recently had AS Electrical & Security install the electrical installation for my EV, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The team arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and completed the work to a very high standard. The installation was neat, tidy, and done with great attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in their work. They also made sure everything was tested properly and that I was comfortable using the charger and the app it comes with before they left. Overall, a great job and a smooth experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for EV electrical installation.

Here’s a polished review you can post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adam from AS Electrical & Security recently installed outdoor spotlights at my property and did an excellent job. The work was completed to a very high standard, neat and professional throughout. He has also previously installed my CCTV and alarm system, and as always, the workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Great work and communication by Adam. Arrived when they said they would and completed the work without any issues. A 5 star from me 👌🏼

I have a small hairdressing salon based in B44. AS Electrical did a complete Rewire at the salon for me, quickly and efficiently and more important …. reasonably. Adam and his team worked hard so the salon didn’t have to be closed for more than two days, he understood the impact of being closed on a small business They tried to keep mess to a minimum. I have also used AS Electrical on our rental properties and his professional knowledge helps us to keep safety compliant with landlords certification. He continues to help us in all our Electrical needs. Very professional concern

Highly recommend! Top quality cameras installed! Very professional! Had an alarm fitted recently too after he did an amazing job with the cameras!

Adam installed CCTV for me after I had a break in a few weeks ago, he worked a weekend so he could fit me in and get it done quickly so I felt safe and secure. It’s a brilliant system and easy to use (straight from my phone) and really clear images. I have since had Adam back for additional work to install a new bell box and a security light - really please with the service and products used, would recommend 100%

Really friendly guy to work with, tidy, reliable and reasonably priced

Fantastic service good price and competent staff - Adam worked out a plan for a garden bar electric feed and carried out the work to a high standard - have had no issues with his work and have used him on several occasions - great lad and reliable company

My cameras were installed efficiently and fast, I am very happy with the excellent quality of images and the technology that I was shown on how to get the best performance from each one. Adam is professional at all times, respectful of property and easy to talk to when you have any questions. Highly recommended.

Adam did a great job carrying out an electric inspection for us along with fitting a new light. He offered us very convenient time slots and once there did the work quickly with the other AS electrician. Everything was explained to us in detail and the certificate was issued really fast. Very happy with the whole job!

Very polite, explained all work what was being done

They sorted out the problem quickly. Polite and friendly. We would recommend this company to our friends.

The service provided by AS Electrical and Security was brilliant. They fitted our house alarm system with no fuss, no drama, no hidden costs. Everything works like a dream!!

Second time I’ve used Adam and he’s always on time and does a professional job. Highly recommend

Updated as of 30 January 2026! I had AS install CCTV kit. Again, astonishing care and quality of equipment. Don't have to ay any subscription like other alarm or CCTV operators like Verisure. Pay once and that's it! I recently moved to Lichfield and inherited a house alarm system that had been installed by AS Electrical & Security. With all our savings going into new furniture and tech, ensuring the safety of my wife, our two brilliant boys, and our home became a top priority. Initially, I looked into Verisure, but their pricing felt excessive, and I wasn’t keen on the subscription model where you essentially rent the equipment. I wanted something more straightforward and cost-effective. That’s when I decided to give AS Electrical & Security a chance. Their service was simple, transparent, and reasonably priced. Adam came across as genuine, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process easy to understand. The alarm system itself is user-friendly and gives us real peace of mind. I highly recommend AS Electrical & Security to anyone looking for a solid, no-nonsense security solution without any hidden costs or commitments. A great local business that delivers exactly what it promises.

5 stars, great service, reliable, high standards & will always recommend.

The work needed was clearly discussed, options given and completed with minimal disruption. everything was left clean and tidy.

Adam has been our electrician for several years now and the service has always been excellent. He’s reliable, professional, and very knowledgeable, with clear communication and honest advice. We’ve always felt confident in his work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy electrician.

Very professional, knew exactly what they’re doing. Happy to answer and questions i had regarding the works. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks A.S Electrical & Security.

Excellent workmanship Excellent reliability Excellent rates.

Highly recommend. Very reliable, turned up when agreed and did a great job. Work was completed to a high standard, everything explained clearly, and left the place tidy afterwards. Pricing was fair and transparent with no surprises. Will definitely use again for future electrical work.

Adam is reliable, has never let us down and is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Just had my annual service done on my alarm system and another camera installed. Again great guys, who actually will advise the best option (even if it means less money for them). See my previous review below about my initial setup. Absolutely 100% recommend these guys! Got a CCTV+alarm system setup, as well as a few other electrical bits. Decently priced, and got a New Year/Jan discount! Polite and super helpful. They cleaned up after themselves, and always responsive to all my queries. Will deffo have them back for any future bits that I need doing.

Very quick response and no problem at all with the work carried out.

This is the 3rd time I've use AS Electrical & Security. And as always they done an outstanding job. Full confidence in there work and would have no issues to recommend.

Couldn’t recommend Adam & Charlie enough! We’ve had additional sockets, outdoor lighting and a bathroom mirror fitted perfectly. We’ve also had security cameras supplied and fitted. Such amazing quality and a really tidy job. Thank you. Very lucky to have an electrician we can trust. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Adam has done lots of work for me over the years and also electrical certificates would recommend always polite and punctual

We contacted Adam yesterday with a problem and he responded. Later in the day all our electrics went off. He came around straight away and told us what to do. It was New Years Day and we had not dealt with him before. He went above and beyond, huge thank you, highly recommend this guy

When one of my 'antique' night storage heaters packed up a fortnight ago I genuinely believed I would be shivering through the festive season. This time of year is incredibly busy for electricians. Not so!! No sooner had a replacement heater been ordered through AS Electrical & Security than they were in my home installing a new Dimplex panel heater. Big shout out to Adam and Charlie for a fantastic and highly professional service. The whole procedure took less than an hour, they were informative, personable and (most important!) clean & tidy. And the heater is great - it by far out-performs its predecessor, so I'll probably be spending New Year in shorts and a T-shirt! Highly recommend this company. Thanks guys!

I’ve used Adam on and off for the last few years and he is the best in the business!! Professional, tidy, prompt and does what is asked of. He’s so good, my entire family use him and his security services. Thanks for making me feel safer, Adam!!!

Fast friendly neat and tidy more than happy would recommend

Great service. Spoke to Adam and got an appointment with him to fit an alarm. Scheduled a date and he arrived on time helped me walk through where to put sensors and contacts. Had the job done with a couple of hours. He showed us how the system works. No complaints.

Adam completed investigative work on my house then scheduled work around my timetable. Communication was excellent and time keeping was the best. He arrived with his team as promised and the rewiring work etc was carried out skilfully and cleanly. I was kept informed through the work as old houses tend to have little surprises here and there.Adam and his team were friendly and approachable and I will recommend to my friends and family.

The team are always so helpful, been using them for a long time and never let me down. Always go the extra mile too.

Excellent and timely work again by Adam and team. Thank you.

Adam recently completed works on my property, great communication and work completed in a timely and professional manner. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Adam, managed to fit me in promptly to carry out an EICR Electrical certificate, very knowledgeable around all the electrical requirements, rules & regulations. Most importantly to myself he spoke with integrity, complete honesty all the way through. I’ve been looking for an honest reliable electrician for a while now. I’m glad to have came across Adam & his colleague who I will be using again in the future and recommending to friends & family! Thanks again Adam - keep up the great work!

Simple - no fuss, no hassle Gets the job done without any issues! Clean and tidy! All trades should operate like Adam - I have used trades before they give you a cheap price to get into the door and then make up on changes/not costed for this that etc… usually costing more than the expensive quote you had.

Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend AS Electrical & Security, clean, tidy and professional work. Will definitely use again when needed.

The team were efficient and well organised ,The work we required included a new fuse box and relocation which was done very well.Alongside this the work in the Kitchen remodel was also carried out very well. They were clean & tidy during and after Would recommend them for your work.

Fantastic customer service from 1st call to adam. Efficient, professional and my ceiling lights fitted within a week by Charlie from his team. Competitive pricing

Charlie came today to create and install a new socket in my kitchen and also change another socket with a new one , and he was very professional , polite and he even cleaned the area he worked on. Honestly , from the first stage of asking for a quote , up to the end of the work , AS electrical has been brilliant. Excellent workmanship, punctual and fast workers. Offered some great ideas which were implemented, and really happy with the boy’s work. First class job well done lads will be our first call for all things security/electrical 👍

Would highly recommend Adam - he is a fantastic, local and highly knowledgeable professional. Reliable, honest and transparent advice, tidy and competitively priced. He respected our home and wore shoe covers in the appropriate places. We had a new CCTV system installed and our fuse board/box updated to current standards. His after sales support to get our CCTV working as we wanted it to was top notch and no trouble for him. We also enquired about a change to the alarm system and he was straight up in saying he could quote but it would not be competitive and to go with other providers with better quotes - that honesty was highly appreciated. Overall a really friendly guy. We will definitely use Adam again in the future. Thanks Adam!!

Absolutely love the cameras, fantastic job, would highly recommend

Professional service received.

In the trade that I work, I often get asked to recommend a good electrician or CCTV installer. Adam is always at the top of my list of installers to recommend. One other notable thing about Adam is that he will only ever install quality products.

Had my house & business fitted at by Adam and can’t recommend him enough. I had many quotes before initially contacting Adam and realised it’s the honest quotes he offers that makes the difference. Adam and co worker was great in our home with our kids, dog and housecats. everything left neat and tidy. I wish we had done this sooner. Thanks for a great job guys pleasure to have you back for additional work.

I was looking for a qualified electrician to do some jobs in my new home and came across AS Electrical & Security through Facebook recommendations. After seeing multiple people within the area mention this company it fulfilled me with confidence they would do a great job. I reached out to Adam and explained the work we needed doing, he was quick to reply and came around the next day. Whilst providing us with a quote Adam made sound suggestions for us to get the best results out of the work being done. After receiving the quote Adam was on hand to give advice on what parts I required for the work to be completed and to ensure the work went smoothly. The work has now been completed and we're really happy with results. Adam and his sidekick were professional, polite and ensured they kept the new house clean whilst the work was done. Adam even went out his way to clean our aircon system which was on a high ceiling we couldn't reach without large ladders. If you're looking for a reliable and professional electrician look no further! Thanks again for all your help. Scott

Needed an emergency appointment to sort a socket that had come away from the wall. Adam sorted it quickly for us. Thanks again!

Adam is not only technically very talented, he is also exceptionally helpful. He installed a CCTV system of three cameras at our house with great care taken to hide wires and locate the VCR etc in a difficult location all to our exacting requirements and with outstanding effect. When I had some problems with connectivity a few years later, he gave me advice and help which was perfect in resolving the problems, and declined to accept and payment. I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever.

Was really pleased that amongst the big jobs they do they were able to fit me in quickly with doing a small job of changing an electrical socket. Thank you

Alarm installation - from the first call I made to Adam about what we required, he listened and advised on what could work and what wouldn't. Price was very competitive and the offer of being on call to any questions we had post installation was appreciated. Professional and a quick, efficient work manner. Spent a good amount of time talking through what we had installed. Would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing customer service and very professional. They arrived minutes earlier than the time planned to start the job, and waited for me till i arrived. They were very polite, and were very helpful in explaining the different types of security lights that i would be getting, and recommended the best looking light to place near my front door. I was told which lights to choose which were the best value for money, and I never felt pressured to pay for additional items. Everything was explained in detail and they also stabled down one of my loose wires which made the work look neat. Will deffinately be using them again when i want an alarm and cameras fitted.

Really professional team, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else apart from AS. I’ve had my alarm fitted and today had its annual service with an additional external light fitted. Really makes me feel confident that my house is safe. Really informative and check that everything is ok and understood before they leave. 10/10 recommend.

Adam was very professional during all communications (face to face and through messages). Adam provided a good quote with a breakdown of the equipment with optional extras (Adam was not pushing the additional extras which was reassuring and felt customer lead and friendly). Adam did not rush me in making a decision and was happy to answer questions at all times. The house alarm was fitted quickly and efficiently, as well as being tidy, friendly, and informative. The system and how to use the different features were explained and demonstrated, reassuring me if I had any problems I was able to contact him and he would be happy to help. I would use Adam again as well as recommend the company to others.

I contact AS electrical the day after my Dad had an attempted breakin which left him feeling unsafe and vulnerable. I had an immediate response and by the next day had Adam round for a quote. Adam thoroughly went through the product we needed and made it easy for my Dad to understand (as he isn’t technical). Within a few days Adam was round to fit dad his house alarm & movement sensors but also provided fobs with a panic alarm that can be linked to my phone if Dad ever needed me in an emergency. 10/10 for a great company! Adam was extremely helpful even before the installation of our security system. He explained the benefits of wired versus non-wired systems so that we were able to make an informed choice. On the day of the installation, Adam was early (he did check before to make sure this was OK!). The installation progressed speedily, efficiently, cleanly and with very little inconvenience to me. Adam then went through the instructions and offered to help if we needed to call with any questions. We did call later that day and Adam talked through a specific process for us. He also offered to pop around if necessary. I would highly recommend Adam, he is thoroughly professional and efficient. We will definitely use his services again in the future.
