We had our Pyronix alarm system serviced today by Adam that he fitted a couple of years ago, all thoroughly checked, batteries replaced and system tested. We recently had AS Electrical & Security install a Pyronix Enforcer alarm system and Hikvision ColorVu CCTV system at our home and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Adam was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable in what he does. From the initial discussions, he took the time to understand exactly what I wanted from both the alarm and CCTV system, while also giving helpful recommendations on what he thought would work best for the layout of the property. I appreciated that he was open to my own ideas as well and was happy to tailor the system to suit my needs rather than just pushing a standard setup. The installation itself was completed to a very high standard. All cabling has been hidden neatly and the overall finish looks incredibly clean and professional. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into the work. The placement of the cameras and sensors was well thought out and the end result gives great coverage around the property without looking untidy. The Pyronix Enforcer alarm system is brilliant and very easy to use through the ProControl+ app. Being able to control the system and receive real time notifications from anywhere gives real peace of mind. The Hikvision ColorVu cameras are also seriously impressive, especially the image quality and colour night vision. The LiveGuard features are another great addition and make the system feel far more advanced than standard CCTV. What also stood out was that Adam didn’t just install everything and leave. He took the time to fully explain how the systems work, helped set everything up on my phone, and made sure I was comfortable using all the features before he left. Overall, the service, workmanship, communication, and quality of the install were all top class. If you’re considering having an alarm or CCTV system fitted, I would highly recommend AS Electrical & Security.

Pay once and that's it! I recently moved to Lichfield and inherited a house alarm system that had been installed by AS Electrical & Security. With all our savings going into new furniture and tech, ensuring the safety of my wife, our two brilliant boys, and our home became a top priority. Initially, I looked into Verisure, but their pricing felt excessive, and I wasn’t keen on the subscription model where you essentially rent the equipment. Just had my annual service done on my alarm system and another camera installed. Again great guys, who actually will advise the best option (even if it means less money for them). See my previous review below about my initial setup. Absolutely 100% recommend these guys! Got a CCTV+alarm system setup, as well as a few other electrical bits. Decently priced, and got a New Year/Jan discount! Polite and super helpful. They cleaned up after themselves, and always responsive to all my queries. When one of my 'antique' night storage heaters packed up a fortnight ago I genuinely believed I would be shivering through the festive season. This time of year is incredibly busy for electricians. Not so!! No sooner had a replacement heater been ordered through AS Electrical & Security than they were in my home installing a new Dimplex panel heater. He respected our home and wore shoe covers in the appropriate places. We had a new CCTV system installed and our fuse board/box updated to current standards. His after sales support to get our CCTV working as we wanted it to was top notch and no trouble for him. We also enquired about a change to the alarm system and he was straight up in saying he could quote but it would not be competitive and to go with other providers with better quotes - that honesty was highly appreciated. Very polite and helpful from start to finish. Job took a little over an hour to complete, then I was given a complete tutorial on how to use the remote fob and the app. 100% recommended!

I was looking for a qualified electrician to do some jobs in my new home and came across AS Electrical & Security through Facebook recommendations. After seeing multiple people within the area mention this company it fulfilled me with confidence they would do a great job. Whilst providing us with a quote Adam made sound suggestions for us to get the best results out of the work being done. After receiving the quote Adam was on hand to give advice on what parts I required for the work to be completed and to ensure the work went smoothly. The work has now been completed and we're really happy with results. Adam and his sidekick were professional, polite and ensured they kept the new house clean whilst the work was done. Adam even went out his way to clean our aircon system which was on a high ceiling we couldn't reach without large ladders. Adam is not only technically very talented, he is also exceptionally helpful. He installed a CCTV system of three cameras at our house with great care taken to hide wires and locate the VCR etc in a difficult location all to our exacting requirements and with outstanding effect. When I had some problems with connectivity a few years later, he gave me advice and help which was perfect in resolving the problems, and declined to accept and payment. I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever.

Adam replaced our alarm for a WiFi version. His communication is excellent, arriving on time to give a quote and on the day to replace the alarm. He worked quickly and efficiently and tidied up afterwards. He even painted a bit of our wall as the new external bell is smaller than our old one. I can highly recommend his company.

Amazing customer service and very professional. They arrived minutes earlier than the time planned to start the job, and waited for me till i arrived. They were very polite, and were very helpful in explaining the different types of security lights that i would be getting, and recommended the best looking light to place near my front door. I was told which lights to choose which were the best value for money, and I never felt pressured to pay for additional items. Everything was explained in detail and they also stabled down one of my loose wires which made the work look neat. Will deffinately be using them again when i want an alarm and cameras fitted.
Really professional team, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else apart from AS. I’ve had my alarm fitted and today had its annual service with an additional external light fitted. Really makes me feel confident that my house is safe. Really informative and check that everything is ok and understood before they leave. 10/10 recommend.
Adam was very professional during all communications (face to face and through messages). Adam provided a good quote with a breakdown of the equipment with optional extras (Adam was not pushing the additional extras which was reassuring and felt customer lead and friendly). Adam did not rush me in making a decision and was happy to answer questions at all times. The house alarm was fitted quickly and efficiently, as well as being tidy, friendly, and informative. The system and how to use the different features were explained and demonstrated, reassuring me if I had any problems I was able to contact him and he would be happy to help. I contact AS electrical the day after my Dad had an attempted breakin which left him feeling unsafe and vulnerable. I had an immediate response and by the next day had Adam round for a quote. Adam thoroughly went through the product we needed and made it easy for my Dad to understand (as he isn’t technical). Within a few days Adam was round to fit dad his house alarm & movement sensors but also provided fobs with a panic alarm that can be linked to my phone if Dad ever needed me in an emergency. 10/10 for a great company! Adam was extremely helpful even before the installation of our security system. He explained the benefits of wired versus non-wired systems so that we were able to make an informed choice. On the day of the installation, Adam was early (he did check before to make sure this was OK!). The installation progressed speedily, efficiently, cleanly and with very little inconvenience to me. Adam then went through the instructions and offered to help if we needed to call with any questions. We did call later that day and Adam talked through a specific process for us. He also offered to pop around if necessary. I would highly recommend Adam, he is thoroughly professional and efficient. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

We have just had a 4 camera system installed onto our property and we were delighted with the service we recieved. The camera quality far outweighed our expectations and Adam was extremely helpful with his recommendations.
