Cavity Wall Insulation: Professional evaluation prior to the job and then a formal quote. Good communication leading up to the job. On the day they arrived nice and early. They explained everything and then went about the job, tidying up as they went. As soon as the job was done and paid we received the warranties. All in all a very good experience

We were struggling to find someone we felt could help when we needed to have the spray foam insulation removed from my mother's loft. This company had good reviews and our experience was great, Gary (and Sheila) were really helpful in explaining things and really responsive to messages. The boys that came to do the work did a good job (as far as my limited knowledge can tell) and we got the paperwork necessary for our buyers to get their mortgage approved. Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive.

We had an insulated flat roof installed at our property under a government grant scheme by GRS Insulation. Unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. After the work was completed we experienced multiple problems including water coming through a bathroom light fitting, which actually filled with water and caused damage to the ceiling. We also had water entering the boiler cupboard affecting the electrics, which resulted in a power cut and the boiler shutting down leaving the house without heating. Although engineers attended and carried out some repairs to the roof and restored the electrics and boiler, further problems have continued. Water is now running down the front of the house due to the threshold drainage being too close to the property and is coming in through the front door. There are also still outstanding remedial works inside the property including repainting the damaged bathroom ceiling and replacing the light fitting. The property is tenanted and there is a vulnerable child living in the home, so these issues have been extremely concerning. We are currently waiting for the company to provide a proper plan and timescale to fully resolve the problems caused by the installation.

I had EWI installed off GRS. Gary was the easiest to deal with, and I wish I had Gary from the start. Will was basically a nightmare! If it wasn’t calling someone from India to take the cables off the wall, or turning up to my house with 2 Luton vans full of gear, or just being ridiculous through and through, he was incredibly difficult to deal with, I ended up calling northern power for 3 weeks sorting out what Will should have done. If you get Gary dealing with the work, he’s easy and fair, the relationship ended badly through damage caused, which Gary was fair. It would have been a 0 star rating if not for Gary. It is worth getting EWI, it looks better and has made a slight difference. I’m just disappointed that I had to deal with Will for months, and the quotes at first were silly.
