Had an issue with my fuse box, and electric kept tripping. They came promptly same day, and were extremely professional. Sorted out the issue and the price is extremely reasonable. Overall, the service is 10/10 and they have definitely earned a customer. Recommend.

The electrician himself was polite, professional, and did a good job fixing the issue. I appreciate his behaviour and the work completed. However, I was very disappointed with the pricing. My second-floor lights were not working, but I clearly mentioned that it was not an urgent emergency situation. Despite this, I was still charged emergency service rates. The final amount came to £578, which felt extremely expensive for the work done. I also tried asking if the charges could be reduced, but there was no flexibility. Good electrician and good work, but the pricing and emergency charges were unreasonable in my experience.
Excellent service by all means. On a bank holiday Sunday (May 24th 2026) the AH crew responded, visited and resolved the power outage issue at my apartment in less than 2hrs!

I called these guys up at 10:15am for a quote, by 10:30am I had a callback with a full quote and a time they would be with me THE SAME DAY!!! They arrived on time, super professional, diagnosed the fault and sorted all the jobs out with amazing finishes and left the house perfectly clean afterwards! 5* Service from start to finish! Adam replaced a 1980s fuse box with a modern consumer unit and made the system safe at our house in Altrincham. He could have not been more helpful, not just with regards to the job itself, but also when I asked him for advice on a completely separate matter. He will definitely be my electrician of choice for any future work.
A plasterer severed a live cable directly under our upper kitchen cabinet while taking tiles off the wall. Absolute nightmare. I called several electricians, but they were either booked for days, or when I sent photographs said the job was too complicated / they couldn't remove cabinets etc. Then I called AH Electrical. I sent Adam the photo, and was relieved when he said they could do the job. The next morning he and Yusuf came and within an hour they had terminated the live cable in a junction box. I was so impressed by their professionalism, expertise and resolve to make sure the job was done properly. I highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant service. Had to be called out on a Saturday night due to some faulty wiring in the walls and arrived in 30 mins. Got to the route of the problem but also spotted a leak we had underneath the house. Helped us organise a plumber to get that sorted. Followed up with a phone call to check everything was ok a couple of days later. I couldn’t fault his help from start to finish
I can't thank Adam enough as he was a pleasure to work with. Called out to fault find my mother's bungalow which kept tripping the main circuit breaker. He did a thorough job and eventually traced it to a socket that was damp on an external wall. Then got up on the roof to check for leaks and found a small roof area covered in leaves and moss that wasn't able to be drained causing the water to run down the internal cavity inside. Cleaned the roof and unblocked the guttering for her and generally went above and beyond what most people would have done. I'm sure other electricians would have just come in and said it needs a new consumer unit or rewire and charged hundreds of pounds for work that didn't need doing and wouldn't have solved the problem. Instead he fixed the problem and the whole time was nice and polite to my mum. Great communication throughout and afterwards. I cannot recommend enough. 5 ⭐

Absolute life saver! Our house alarm malfunctioned in the middle of the night, blaring down the road and waking everyone up no doubt. They’ve done work to a high standard for us twice now. Will be our go to electrician. They came out within the hour to sort a pendant that the plasterer couldn’t get back on. Moved a socket and rewired 2 with no issues.

Amazing service- needed emergency help with a heat source water heater that kept tripping- arrived within an hour and went above and beyond to contact a heat pump specialist to get info specific to my water heater and ensured that I could get hot water over the weekend- they also sent details of the issue to the heat pump specialist so they can bring the correct parts next week and understand the fault found- Super impressed with the service.

I cannot recommend enough! After another contractor at my shop site managed to sever not one, but 8 wires, he was able to get everything sorted, and in such an unbelievably professional way. He explained everything that was happening, made sure I saw exactly what he was doing so I could see why it was taking as long as it was, and he even made sure we had a way home in the cold late at night once the work was done. An absolute gem, a fantastic electrician, and an all round wonderful human being, thank you so much!

My boiler suddenly stopped working and I had no heating / hot water. I must have called at least 8 different companies trying to find someone that could resolve the issue by attending urgently. Most of the people I spoke to were unable to deal with my particular boiler, unable to attend for a few days or were generally unhelpful. Adam was recommended by someone I called. Within a few hours of calling him on a late afternoon mid-week, he'd listened to the problem over the phone and tried to diagnose and was at my home within the space of an hour. In a short time from arriving he'd diagnosed the problem, fixed my hot water and informed me of the replacement part that needed ordered. I couldn't recommend Adam enough - so much so that if anything goes wrong with my boiler again he's the first person I'll call!

Didnt actually do a job for me, however contacted him about a problem with lights tripping and responded immediately and would come and look next day or even same evening if I wanted. Turned out to just be a faulty outside light (which we discovered on his advice)!.
I'd been told by another electrician that I needed to upgrade my electrical unit and it was going to set me back by a LOT of money. I decided to reach out to some more electricians for quotes, and after sending photos and a description of the problem, Adam was the only person to respond by telling me that upgrading the unit was an unnecessary and expensive way to deal with the problem and that he could replace small parts in it instead. He saved me hundreds of pounds, was responsive, communicative and easy to work with. Can't recommend him strongly enough.

He called back even though it was already past six in the evening and arrange to come round later in the evening to help me out when I needed a emergency electrical switch changing. on top of that the price was reasonable and much appreciated for friendly service.
Not only did they answer the phone straight away, they advised me over the phone on how to resolve an urgent problem with my fuse box, they did not want to take money as they did not have to physically come to my house .I could not recommend them enough for their helpfulness and would definitely use them again.

I was having problems with a house lighting situation I couldn’t get it to work properly. I came across Adam’s website and read some of the reviews and how he has helped other people to solve problems. I gave Adam a ring and explained my situation to him about the lighting problems and after a few minutes he told me what I needed and the website I needed to look at for the wiring diagram I needed. With in a few hours I had the lighting problem solved. Thanks to Adam for his help and if I have any more problems I will not hesitate in contacting him again.

We accidentally damaged a wire while moving shelving which tripped our fuses, but we didn't clock that this was the problem since the power didn't go out until some time later. Required electrician to fit a Neff built-in double Oven quickly on a Sat afternoon. John Lewis attempted to fit it but struggled and said the cable had a break in it which was surprising to find. Asked JL to just leave the oven and go. I then called AH electrical Services who arrived in an hour, tested the complete circuit and found no issues. They fitted the oven for a very reasonable fee. They clearly knew what they were doing, were professional and polite. Would definitely use AH Electrical Services again; I don't think I would use JL again for fitting integrated appliances.

I had a problem with the fuse box in my flat with some of the plugs not working. This was at 9pm and I rang to state what the problem was. I was told to take a picture and see if we could solve it there and then - which we were able to. This was a great service given I could easily have asked them to have come round and charged me. It was greatly appreciated and saved a lot of late night worrying
I’ve never used AH Electrical Services until my downstairs plug sockets cut out on a Friday night, but nothing tripped on the fuse box. After a quick call, the owner (sorry don’t know their name) talked me through what to do in order to get the plug sockets working again and hey presto it worked! He was very helpful and friendly, and saved me a call out charge as he was happy to talk over the phone. I would definitely use them again, an excellent first impression and service.

We can’t recommend Adam and Yusuf enough! They were brilliant start to finish. We had our electrical panel fully replaced to include RCDs on each circuit. We also had spotlights replaced, dimmer switch installed, a number of new light fittings and plug sockets replaced across the house. They are super efficient, professional and the work carried out was done to such a high standard.

These two guys are good, but the refurbish guys they introduced are rogues, scoundrels, they lies and took the money and disappear before finishing the work, now my home is still in a mess.

Adam and his team member came promptly after I called him out at around 7pm on a Friday due to an emergency where my power was lost in one half of the kitchen and a couple of rooms next to the kitchen. Adam was polite and knowledgeable whilst diagnosing this issue and was keeping me constantly updated, initially we thought it was a faulty socket that caused the power outage but it turned out more to that and I watched Adam and his team member diligently work out what the issue was and at pace. Once he found the solution, he and his team member fixed the issue promptly allowing me to relax and not stress over the weekend. I got in touch with Adam (out of usual working hours) for assistance with some malfunctioning plug sockets. He first attempted to resolve my problem over text to save me having to pay for a visit, which I thought was great of him. Once he saw it would require a more complicated fix, he was with me within half an hour to help me out. Absolutely fantastic service from AH Electricals. I called up Adam in the morning for EICR report, and he went out of his way to get it done for me by the same evening at very competitive price. In addition a couple of sockets needed repairing which he did at the same time, showing not only they are responsive but also safe and adhere to the high standards. Absolutely top draw service from Adam. He completed a lighting project for me 2 years ago and after recently being messed around by another 'Electrician' I managed to get back in touch with Adam, who promptly completed a smart lighting and rewiring job for me. Exceptional service. I have a portfolio of properties and have used many electricians over the years. I called this electrician (sorry don't know his name) at 8pm this evening and he sounded like he was just getting in to his front door. We agreed that he would fix a faulty shower switch tomorrow afternoon as my tenant didn't have a working shower. I then received a text from my tenant who was extremely pleased it had been fixed today at 10pm. AH electrical sent pictures of the faulty switch and the repair via WhatsApp. I cannot fault the service and the price was reasonable considering the short notice and speedy repair. I called AH early one Saturday evening as I was having trouble refitting a lightswitch. Due to his patience, professionalism and expertise he was able to talk me through what I needed to do in order to get it working correctly and safely. 2nd review for these great guys. Nov'20 I had to call Adam to check the electrics on an old cylinder boiler which had stopped working. We ended up having a plumber in to take it away and we replaced it with an instant water heater so Adam came back to do the electrics for the new boiler. I can't recommend him enough. He really put himself out to help out someone who had been without hot water since the beginning of the pandemic. He also replaced a faulty ceiling light and repaired a hob fan. These guys are a godsend! Polite, well dressed and keen to do a good job. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made themselves available to come back to do more work when requested. They even cleaned off some dirty marks a previous Electrician had left on the ceiling, while they were fitting new lights! It was a pleasure to have their company. They gave really good advice, changed ceiling lights to fit Hue bulbs, fitted two new electric heaters and installed a new dishwasher. They also cleaned up after themselves! What more could you ask? Adam and his colleague were asked to carry out electrical testing by my landlord. While they were here, they also fixed our shower. They identified the part that was needed, popped out to purchase it and fitted it, even though that’s not why they were asked to attend! There was also an issue in the boiler cupboard where the wires needed tidying, and Adam also fixed that. They were very professional and friendly. They explained everything as they went along and kept me informed. They even tidied up after they had finished, which doesn’t always happen when someone has been out to fix something! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, they provided a great service.

Lights were constantly tripping out. I found Adam through Local Heroes - he came back to me straight away and was out here the next day at the time he said. Having called a number of electricians in Manchester city center these were the only form that could accommodate an out of hours service without all the extra charge nonsense! They arrived on time and were wonderful! Nothing was an issue. I had an oven emergency and needed it changing ASAP. It was no trouble and they even helped me find a place to buy one from that day! I strongly recommend AH Electrical. We needed a socket installed for an electric cooker, change the old fuse box to a new one an transfer it from outside the house to the inside. Adam and Abdul did a marvellous job overall. Adam and Abdul called a day earlier to assess the job and in the process identified some potential hazardous electrical connections which they also fixed. They also did an extra job for us free of charge. Adam & Abdul were punctual, very patient and completed the job satisfactorily both ways. Importantly Adam and Abdul were good company to be with. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Adam. He's extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in his approach. He has now done two jobs for me - one involved troubleshooting resulting in some minor work and the other involved the installation of a new consumer unit. Both times he kept me informed of what he was doing and why. No hidden surprises on costs which were very reasonable.
Had a full re-wire of my house done. They worked very hard to get everything done in only a few days, solving issues fast keeping us well informed with changes.

Posted my job and Adam rang me in the morning. We arranged a time for that afternoon and he turned up on time. He fitted my oven and extractor hood. He completed his work quickly and efficiently. He was very professional, tidy and helpful in fact he actually did a few thing's that he could have charged extra for but didn't. Would definitely use his service again and would highly recommend.

Had an urgent need to fix a fuse that kept tripping. The guys turned up to attend to the urgent request as promised and fixed it swiftly. Also kept me informed of the actual issue and how the previous person who has installed the equipment had not done it properly. Offered to speak to my letting agent ( who had sent the previous contractor) to share the feedback and also recommended that I should claim the money spent for the issue with my letting agent which I did. Overall great experience- the amount charged was higher than what was initially quoted so a bit above my budget but I am hoping to get it returned to me so hopefully shouldn’t be an issue. Was able to book him in for fault-finding at short notice when my boiler was giving no hot water, he identified and fixed the main problem efficiently, and while he was there also sorted a couple of other little issues I'd been having with the lights and the meter. Was clearly very knowledgable, and the whole job was conducted with efficiency, professionalism and friendliness :) He was happy to explain everything he was doing while he was doing it so I feel much more clued-up on it all now too! Would absolutely recommend and will certainly be booking him again next time I need electrical work :)
I highly recommend AH. They came to my home on a Sunday for an emergency job in my house which has a complex old system of electrics. Adam gave me a price estimate before working, kept me informed about what he was doing throughout the process and successfully solved the problem, which was not an easy task! Our electric kept tripping so we had no power at all, After been let down by Rightio and trying so many other companies, I called this AH Electrical services at 1.45pm on a Friday afternoon, thinking he too would say he couldn't get to help us, he was on his way to his last job and without hesitation he said he would call round after that, he told me his prices before arriving, he came as promised, found out the problem withing 45 min and the power was back on, Adam was extremely professional, polite, just got on with the job and great value for money, i will defo be using his again and would certainly recommend AH Electrical services :O)
Adam came to fix a broken light fitting, he was able to sort out the problem & work around my schedule. He turned up, was friendly and did a good job, at a reasonable price. I was very happy with his work I booked him for a second time to wire up a power point for a dishwasher. Another good job done I was very pleased.
Outstanding job, after finding me working in back garden, Adam took the time to find me, then fitted all four lights without any issues. He constructed an ornate copper styled chandelier light, which took nestly an hour then hung and connected. Two further lights he hung and then the last light. He also provided me some filler for my ceiling :) Not a whole he left though. Top guy, would totally recommend again and again
