Gromit Electrical

Extremely pleased with the completed Electrical checks and report. I am happy to recomend Gromit. Darren did a first rate job. Thanks

We had a full house rewire done by Darren and Francis. They both worked hard and were excellent and explaining the plans along the way. We hit a few obstacles, but Darren was always fast thinking and very knowledgeable on how to solve them. Both friendly and were conscious of our cats throughout the job. Very happy with the work completed and will be using in the future

Had emergency job for bathroom wiring for main light. Darren came promptly, fixed the issue and installed light, all for a very competitive price. So impressed that I have asked him to move my fuse box for housework I'm having next year. Definitely recommend.

We've used Darren's services a few times now & have been very satisfied with the various jobs that he has done for us. He has a professional attitude, reliable, friendly & honest.

Really happy - great job and communication, knows his stuff.

Darren is excellent and do every thing efficiently. The job done perfectly and I have few small questions , he answered me patiently. So grateful to have Darren

Excellent response to my enquiry and attentive during site requests and instructions. Would recommend especially for smaller jobs.

Want someone who knows what they are doing, look no more. Lost count of how many electricians would not even touch what I wanted done. He took the time to understand what I needed to get done and executed it beautifully. Very happy customer.

Darren is an excellent electrician at a very competitive price. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for all your electrical jobs.

Cant be happier with the work that was carried out. Very knowledgeable bloke, with vast amounts of experience and attention to the smallest details. Even thought some of the elements will never been seen his kept things tidy and done to the highest standards.

Darren came at very short notice to provide us with a temporary solution to our burnt distribution board and then came in a few days time to instal a new replacement. Very professional and a pleasure to have in the house. Would thoroughly recommend.

Darren was great. We needed an EICR for selling our house, and he made availability to come and complete this at short notice. Very polite and professional and certificate was recieved same day. Would definitely use Darren for any electrician work in the future and would reccomend.

Handy electrician, has done a few things for us including fitting new lights and rewiring the kitchen for new sockets, lights, switches, dishwasher and cooker point. Offered advice, punctual, polite and friendly.

Thank you Darren for your all round excellent service. Keeping Gromit 'on file' for future projects!

Gromit Electrical installed an EV charger and repaired my RCD consumer unit, and the experience was outstanding. The communication was prompt and clear, ensuring a smooth process. The work itself was exceptionally neat and tidy, showcasing a high level of professionalism. Gromit Electrical was not only skilled but also very friendly, making the entire interaction pleasant. What stood out the most was their ability to understand my needs and provide competitive solutions. I highly recommend their services for a reliable and customer-oriented electrical work.

Darren was really great and went through everything first so we were happy before commencing. He was really thorough and neat. He installed lighting and sockets in shed as well as some outdoor lights and outside socket. I can turn the lights on and off using my phone which makes everything much easier than fumbling round trying to find the switch to the shed. Brilliant job. Friendly and accommodating.

Excellent service. Had a garden light fitted, very professional job..

Stepped in and saved the day when let down by another electrician. Fitted us in at very short notice and completed the work professionally, politely and on time. Very very impressed!

Sent over a professional quote. Darren and his colleague worked hard all morning, fitting a new socket, a new fuse and new kinetic light switches with responder. This proved trickier than expected with wood, nails and bricks in the way, but still finished the job to a high quality. Despite lots of drilling, kept the house tidier than any other labourer I have ever employed. Really good at checking and understanding what you want and explaining how he will achieve this, even when obstacles get in the way! Payment was also really straightforward with a card reader. Seems really genuine, friendly and hard working. Plus, comes with a little Gromit on the side of his van!

Darren did an excellent job from start to finish.

Would highly recommend. Changed lights and fittings for us. Very professional. Excellent finish. Good price. Couldn't ask for more and will use again.

After a competitive quote we employed Darren to install a wall switch and 2 outside lights. He listened to what we wanted and advised on where to buy the lights from for best quality and price. He arrived early on the day and worked efficiently to get the job done in the time frame. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and left the area spotless. He returned the following day to replace a faulty switch which was no problem at all. He made a neat job of the work carried out and did exactly what we asked for. We would definitely recommend him and will be using his services again in the future. Thanks again Darren!

I had an electrical problem I phoned and got an immediate response Darren tried to help with the problem over the phone but when this didn’t resolve the problem he called round and resolved the issue 😊 I would happily use his services again. Thank you Darren

Called after a council engineer had been to my nans property and all the electrics had tripped, was so lovely and helpful, gave us advice and managed to resolve our issue to the best of his ability, managed to get most of the electrics working minus the upstairs lighting which was due to the council engineer, honestly cant thank him enough, will definitely use again if needed and will definitely recommend, top man. Friendly and very professional.

What a brilliant experience! Quick, efficient and explained everything easily to myself and my partner, who are living in our own place for the first time and didn’t really have a clue. Plus Darren has the most wonderful personality- a really nice and genuine person, which is always a lovely thing to see. So glad we booked with Gromit Electrical and they will always have our business in the future. Thank you! - P

Very professional , clean & friendly service . We were very happy with the work that Darren did for us & already recommended him to a friend . Will definitely use him.again .

Darren has done a fantastic job with our house rewire. There was a significant amount of work to be done, however Darren and Francis made it as stress free as possible and we were very comfortable with them being around the house. He was also excellent with our nervous housecat! We were also pleased by the level of cleanliness at the end of each day, there was never any mess left for us to tidy. We are first time buyers however throughout the works, Darren explained all available options and gave us great advice for the rest of the house renovation which was invaluable. The work was done to a really high standard and Darren really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything. We'll definitely call Darren again for any electrical work in the future.

His advice is always honest and he's a trades person of the highest integrity whom I know I can trust to do a good job and is fairly priced. Thanks Darren!

I called Darren when our hob stopped working and he came out to inspect it the same day! We had a few electrical queries which were dealt with with expertise and professionalism. Darren ordered the parts we needed for one of the jobs and came back to do this and fit our new hob very promptly. Communication was excellent throughout and he is very friendly and personable. I called Gromit twice - first to install some light fixtures and the second time for replacing an electrical socket. In both cases, Darren was quick to respond, professional and courteous, and worked quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely call on him again for future work and would reccomend him to anybody in the local area. Thank you very much!

Darren is a star! The response was super fast. We had a power cut due to our hob. When we talked via phone he said 90% likelihood that our hob is broken and we need a new one. He told us it's best to get a new one befor he comes out as he would charge for the call out only to comfirm the suspicion. We brought a new hob which came on Saturday I called Darren and said the hob is here and he said he will be there in 10 minutes. He turned up installed the new hob. (The old one never turned back on. Suspicion was correct) such a friendly Man. I really highly recommend Darren as he is a sound guy. Who could of charged the world but instead gave great advice and installed the new hob for a reasonable price. If I ever need anything electrical done I'll definitely will use Darren again!
