Great home EV installation by Joe and Chris. Octopus called it a complex install after fighting for a date for about 6 months and wouldn’t install it. I looked for a local installer and they had it done very quickly and at a time that suited me and easily installed it where octopus couldn’t. Wish I could go back in time instead of messing around waiting for Octopus!

Installer was fantastic. Communication and ability to get through to them is absolutely shocking. They employ a call center to take there initial calls but they are empowered to do nothing. No one ever calls back. Must of asked for 5 calls back and didn't get 1 even after every agent saying they marked it as urgent.

Completed via FaceTime with an engineer in Wales (we are North east) who was unable to assess the space sufficiently. Been over a week and zero communication. I was told by ohme they’d call me within 48hrs over a week ago. Nothing. I have since rung 3 times and left my details 3 times and had it escalated to urgent and I’ve had absolutely no contact. They have a company directing their calls so you literally can’t speak to anyone at Bibi.
Had an afternoon appointment and the engineer had a free spot in the morning. Contacted me to see if it was ok to come early which I said yes to as I was home. Great communication, super tidy install and no fuss at all. Would highly recommend using Ohme for your charging needs. **Above review was prior to DNO email** Couple of days after installation I was advised the house was on a looped supply. I suspected as much but the Bibby Engineer did not see this or inform me of this during the survey they came out to do. The engineer fitted the charger based on the survey report and without passing any information onto myself I found out a restriction had been placed on the charger to get around the looped supply issue. This is no good to myself with a large battery to chare trickle charging was not what I wanted. I arranged to have the house unlooped which meant a lot of digging up of the drive way, which was all handled quickly and efficiently by OPUS. Now I wish to have the restriction removed from my charger and configured correctly as the OHME app is showing old information from before the house was unlooped and power supply upgraded but I am being told by Bibby`s that this is something OHME have to deal with. OHME are obviously the product supplier but as it was a Bibby Engineer that did the survey and installed the charger there is a duty to explain to the customer when the product is being fitted about any alterations / restrictions being placed on the product as this does have an impact on the decision as to whether to take this route as a viable alternative to an ICE car.
The installer name John came yesterday to fit my pod. John was very polite, and explained everything that we needed to know regarding the pod. Respected our property and left our property tidy.
I had an Ohme EV home charger install carried out by Bibby this week. Initially I found the process of actually getting to the install quote from Ohme quite laborious but clearly they need as much information as possible before involving the installation teams. Bibby were assigned to my install. Their communication was good with phone calls to check availability of booking slots for both the survey and the installation. Our job presented a couple of suggested cable routes from the technician who did the first on site survey. We opted for a high level solution which required a second person to carry out the task. Following a further conversation with Bibby in Liverpool the Manager of the team personally committed to doing the job with our installer and drove 3 hours to attend for us in Bedford. Both of these chaps did a very good job in what was extreme heat in June this year. The install went smoothly and the charger is now working nicely.

During the survey he took time to consider different options for the installation and discuss them with me. Neat and professional installation, with a clear explanation of what he was doing. Happy with the installation, the engineer was polite and answered all our questions. Left site clean and tidy. The booking service wasn’t as good, the first visit was booked for a pm slot I contacted the office for an eta at 3pm and they couldn’t say when the surveyor would be there but it would be before 5pm. They turned up at 7pm. The installation was booked but no time slot on the day, I contacted the office to be told I would get a call back which didn’t happen. I then contacted again to be told it was a pm slot and they would let me know when they had an eta. The engineer rang at 2pm to let me know that he was on his way. Engineer very happy with customer service needs reviewing so people aren’t wasting their day waiting in.
Prompt arrival, friendly discussion on where I would like the charger set up. Very tidy installation with updates along the way with plenty of notice for power down. All work tidied up and left as found. Very happy with the Engineer and instal.

Would publicly like to say this is the WORST company I have ever dealt with so far. If you see this companies name coming to you for an installation cancel it immediately and get another company. The customer service is a shambles waited 3 months for an install and after many cancelled appointments the engineer shows up at a random time and when asked to wait 5 minutes engineer was extremely rude. Just stay clear of this company, I can see here many fake reviews just be careful I didn’t feel safe in the end for them doing the job and turned them away.

The two gentleman who installed our Ev charger were very professional, very tidy and so helpful in downloading what we needed to and made the whole set up process smooth and easy thankyou so much.

It is virtually impossible to get through to the installation team , the call handler takes messages which are not responded to and as a customer you are just left hanging . They do not seem bothered to address the issue and can only repeat the same automated message. Would not recommend this company !

John was excellent. We had a complex job which needs a full day. He arrived on time, worked out the best way to complete. He worked neatly and cleaned up and made good, then ensured that we knew how to use the EVCP. Only dissatisfaction was that we commenced in December with Ohme and it has to taken until end March to complete.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Bibbys. The installation was completed within 5 days of me completing the online survey. Our engineer was a very tidy worker and gave us a tutorial when he had finished showing us how to charge the car and connect it to the charger. All in all a stress free experience.
The process of getting the charger installed was easy from start to finish. I submitted the survey and the plans and Bibby rang me the next day to arrange the engineer. Paul came out, put the charger exactly where I needed it which required quite a bit of drilling. When done, he showed me how to use it and the app. All in all, very good 👍

The process from start to finish was very smooth, even though the survey was long! I am so surprised how quickly the installation was completed after having the completed the survey a few days prior. We had an electric car charger fitted at home yesterday. The engineer fitting it did a great job. He'd had a busy day ahead of our appointment, so called an hour and a half before to let us know and reassure us that he would get the job done. On arrival he was polite and efficient. The work was done with minimal disruption, just 15 minutes with the electricity switched off, and he cleaned up after the work well. The unit looks great.

This service has been great from the start. The initial online survey was simple enough and took about 15 minutes to complete. Booking was simple and the customer service was a friendly, helpful, real human (not AI) who dealt with me directly. The equally friendly engineer who came to fit the equipment was brilliant. A true professional who went out of his way to place the unit where we wanted it. It's a neat job and the unit looks great. We even received a follow up call to check everything went well. The charger installation went very smoothly. Our old house was not straight forward to deal with but Richard worked carefully around under-floorboard obstacles that were not expected. And the house looked unchanged even though floorboards were lifted and put back in several areas. Everything was explained as well - so timing and approaches were very clear.
The survey appointment was prompt and Joe the engineer called when on his way. He was really knowledgeable. The office called to ask if they could install due to a cancellation one afternoon. He was able to fit the charger very neatly in the required place and talk us through how it and the app worked. We are extremely pleased with the installation. Bibby Energy Solutions communicated throughout and promptly sent the installation certificates. Would recommend this company for anyone looking for a charger to be installed in the future.

I had my charger replaced yesterday and they young man who came to do the work was really helpful. He was able to reuse my existing wiring from my last charger and was also able to fix an issue I was having where the fuse box would make loud clonking sounds during the day and night. Left the work area clean and tidy. He was also very knowledgeable about how the new charger worked. Richard the engineer text the day before to confirm his arrival time, he arrived on time, called before hand and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Nick was great installing my Ohme charging point yesterday. It was much quicker than I had anticipated and he was very knowledgeable amwith the questions I had about the app and security.
Our Volvo dealer recommended Ohme charger which was supposed to be installed by Ohme's preferred installer Bibby Energy Solutions. We filled in all the required details after which Bibby contacted us and told us that we need bonding on our gas and water. As our house is only 2 years old and the builder is still on site we asked our builder to confirm this. They said we dont need bonding because both water and gas incoming pipes are plastic and not metal. Bibby started arguing with us that surely the gas pipe is metal and needs to be bonded (despite us having technical drawings showing its plastic and NHBC guidance confirming that no bonding is needed in that case). It is unclear to us whether their installers are just incompetent and are not aware of the latest legislation or whether they are trying to get money out of people who do not understand what they need as they were ready to quote us for the work. Its just something customers should be aware of, so they dont end up being out of pocket for something that is not needed and potentially dangerous as stated by our builders electrical manager.

Had an Ohme EV charger installed with Bibby Energy Solutions, the installation engineerwas very prompt arriving, very polite and helpful. Discussed the best route for the installation wires, as he wanted to hide them for us as much as possible. Very pleased with this installation, very neat and tidy.

Would have liked a curtsey call a few days before to make sure appointment was still suitable or any issues, but that's me just been picky !!!! Bibby exceeded my expectations. Nic the engineer was unbelievably professional, friendly and helpful, finding a route through my home which caused minimal internal disruption. Nic didn’t have to take the time to find the route for my cable (under the floor boards) that he did, he could have done a quick and messy fit. instead he took the time to lift floor boards and find a route which didn’t show the cable in my home. Can’t recommend and thank this engineer enough. Brilliant individual!
The installer that fitted our home charger arrived early was polite, friendly and efficient, the installer put the cable all the round the house has the main supply was at the back of the house and did a nice tidy job of putting the wiring and the charge at the front of the house where the driveway was. We have had an EV charger install by this company. The engineers name was Jamie, he was really good and did not disrupt our daily routine. He made sure we were aware of what was going to happen and got on with the work. He even cleaned up after which was extremely helpful because it was raining a lot that day. He was soaked through but finished the job and gave us all the information we needed at the end too. The only thing I wish was better, is that it wasn't raining. Can't complain about about anything. Both Jamie and the team at Bibby were great. The team at Bibby (office) were just as helpful and wanted us to be comfortable with the work they were doing for us. Great customer service and care, would recommend to all.
I have recently had installation of an EV point at my home and had excellent service from this company. I received several phone calls to arrange survey etc. and was impressed by the politeness and knowledge of the person making the calls. The surveyor was pleasant and knowledgeable and explained what would be done and where. This was followed up by the installation two weeks later. The installer was so polite and respectful of my property, worked quickly and efficiently and the job was done in no time. I had worried that the charger would look obtrusive at the front of the house but it looks very neat. The wiring was boxed in inside the house and any mess was swept away. Very impressed!

I had a problem with my Ohme charger so contacted the company but they didn’t get back to me very quickly so I contacted Bibby and spoke to Shane. He was lovely and so professional he called OEA on my behalf. This was at 5 to 5 on Friday! He got back to me straight away and booked himself in to come and fix it at 8 am Monday morning. Wow, what incredible service and Shane was amazing when he came he checked everything he changed what he needed to do and made sure it was working. I couldn’t ask for any more. It was just first class the best service I’ve had from a company for a very very very long time. The installation work of the electric charger for my vehicle was carried out by Bibby energy solutions their engineer Patryk carried out the installation work in a professional and competent manner explaining and answering our questions in a good and easy understanding way .if the other staff at BIXBY are aswell trained and helpful as Patryk my wife and I would recommend this company to carry out similar work to anyone requiring any similar such work as ourselves. Being disabled I was unsure what and how the installation would be done after seeing and discussing what was happening with Patryk I realised I needn't have worried 😅 . I ordered my EV charger through Ohme and was allocated Bibby Energy Solutions for the installation. As our electric meter is in a tricky place, we needed a site survey before we could book the install in, and this was undertaken quickly and efficiently. Lots of effort was made to find the best route for the supply to put the charger where it would be most beneficial, and both of the engineers were knowledgeable and courteous - unfortunately I didn't write down there names! The admin staff were very helpful through ever step of the process - I think I dealt with Lauren and she booked the install in at the first opportunity which was very helpful as my EV arrived 10 weeks earlier than expected! When it came to the install itself, the installer (one of the chaps who came to do the survey crammed himself into the smallest cupboard you can imagine, not a grumble - he just got on with it. Once the install was complete, he ran through the features of the charger with me and made sure I had all the information I needed. All in all, an excellent service from Bibby Energy Solutions - I would highly recommend.

The engineer, was extremely polite, processional, clean and very helpful there was am issues in the outside electrical box on called my local provider and the engineer explain the issue and we where able to get them out. His manager said he should reschedule the job but he called his manger back explaining the situation and was able to complete the install. I could not have asked for a more professional job. I can not praise this firm high enough. My EVcharging point was faulty and needed a swap out. After trying for 10 days to contact and get some sense from the original installer, I finally had had enough when they suggested a date over a week away. I asked the charge point manufacturer to recommend someone reliable. They put me in touch with Lauren at Bibby Energy Solutions who contacted one of their installers who agreed to come out that same day , which he did, turning up at 6:00 pm and promptly swapped out the faulty unit, tested the new one , making certain that everything was working well before he left. After 3 weeks of having a charger tripping out randomly I now have one working well. Dave , the engineer , and Lauren both of Bibby Engineering deserve complimenting on their customer service. They are prime examples of how things should be and I can't praise them high enough. If you are looking for an EV charging point look no further than there. Where else can you get same day service when it warrants it and an engineer who insists on tidying everything up afterwards? ********** Update************* I have just had John Lloyd from Bibby Engineering out to see why my charger was still tripping. The conclusion he came to was that the MCB fitted by the original company ( who no longer do installations for Oh-Me) had used a unit that was not one of the well known brands and that it was possibly faulty. So without any hesitation he fitted a new unit which now complied with the requirement to have surge protection. It was not an easy job but he succeeded with a smile and cheery disposition. He even went through the whole process of testing the installation as if it was a new installation tidied up after himself and only left after ensuring everything was working. Both he, and Laren deserve recognising for their very efficient and cheery service. I would be more than happy to show of the standard of their work as an example of how things should be done.

We received notification of when the instalation would happen. Which was only a matter of a few days wait. The chap who installed kit was bang on time and quietly got on with the job. An unbelievable experience. I filled out the paperwork at the Dealership for my new car last Monday, I received a short survey to fill regarding the proposed siting and fitting of the charging point on the Wednesday. I then had a phone call from Bibby Energy Solutions on Thursday and Friday Morning the Electrician turned up to fit the Charging point. The Electrician was extremely knowledgeable and Helpful, he was able and very willing to answer any questions that until that point hadn’t occurred to me. He was very quick, efficient, polite and something quite rare these days, very clean and tidy. All in all the process was so quick, efficient and above all Painless.

The appointment was only a few days after initial contact and the installer arrived promptly and installed the charger much quicker than expected. He advised me of the process and that the power would need to be turned off for a short period. Once installed I was shown through how to operate it and set it up with the instructions so was very happy with the whole experience and no problems.

Recently got a new EV and used a comparison site as had no idea what to look for and Bibby Solutions was the cheapest. Liam was super helpful and sent me lots of options and info about the different chargers and what they offer. I ended up going for the hypervolt. After it was fitted I brought the car home and the lead didn’t reach the car, I messaged Liam and he came back a few days later and replaced it with a longer cable free of charge! Excellent service with a great personal touch I would highly recommend using Bibby Solutions!

Hello All, I've had a Zeptek One wall charger installed at my house. The end to end experience was very good. I tendered my business to 6 firms and I learned a few things: Bibby was the lowest cost for product plus installation. Liam from Bibby gave a very positive experience about his company. He was the only one of the vendors who made a "Sales" effort; some of the other vendors out there were just lazy. Some of the advertised prices were not close to the finally quoted price. Lastly, when you start to contact EV home charger suppliers, your facebook feed will fill up with EV suppliers !! As for the installation, all completed in a professional manner with a clean and tidy finish. Liam is a polite person and very proactive communicator. The Zaptec app works well. Highly recommended. Amazing service, helped me understand my options and took me through the whole process before the installation. Very easy quoting stage. Just took a video of the house and it’s done. Liam was very approachable and friendly on the day of installation, was explaining every step as he was about to perform each task. It was a long day as the cable needed to be hidden underground, but Liam never lost his smile and energy. Overall, brilliant service and will recommend to anyone has need for an EV charger.

I recently engaged with 3 EV charger companies and chose to work with Bibby Energy Solutions, given their knowledge and help with selecting the best product for my current car and needs. The team did a site survey and told me all that was needed how long they would be there. They ran into a few challenges with my existing fuse board but in order to get the job finished, fixed the errors that a previous electrician had left unresolved and fitted my EV charger on time and with no mess and no messing about.
