Fantastic job. Terry went above and beyond what was expected. He took great care to explain how things worked and even contacted Octopus when things were not as expected. The cable is still difficult to unplug but this was explained as being new and it should become easier with use. Thank you

I would 100% recommend Cannon Electrical for any work. Andersen car charger fitted to great quality with care for appearance. With our meter box being so far away from the charge point, we expecting cable to be clipped right around the house, however as you can see great thought was taken for appearance and the cable is hidden from sight. Great job Terry, thank you!

From the initial quote to the final install, it's been flawless, great communication, a great price, excellent advice and a real pleasure to deal with. There is simply nothing to fault, Terry is a credit to his company, he fitted me an Ohme charger and its working perfectly. Thank you very much.

Really impressed with Terry. Good communication throughout, very happy with the price to install the EV charger. And he did an immaculate job and took the time to work out the neatest possible route to install even though it meant more work for him. Cannot recommend enough.

Would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable electrician with great knowledge.

Terry was fantastic, really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 10/10 EV charger supply and install

There's a reason that Cannon has 134 (and counting) 5 star reviews: I needed an EV charger fitting at my house and am delighted that I asked Terry from Cannon Electrical to do it. After the initial contact Terry came promptly to do a survey and the quote arrived very soon after. The quote was very clear, itemising the charger, other electrical parts and labour. I got an electrician friend of mine to look over it and they said that the prices were extremely fair. The installation was no less impressive. Terry gave excellent advice on the location of the charger and the install was very neat. Terry called after the install to make sure I was happy and to offer his assistance with the charger / app should I need it. If I could give 10* I would. Amazing all round - thank you Terry.

The whole experience of getting solar panels and a matching system was made much easier by Terry from Cannon Electrical. What I think was very useful was the design stage which we spent some time on. The Myenergi products worked very well together.

I was delighted with the service, expertise, advice and professionalism throughout the entire process. A first class job. I highly recommend.

A brilliant job done by installer Terry fitting a car charger. He was professional and courteous at all times. The home charger was fitted neatly and surrounding area cleaned and left tidy. The back lawn had to be dug up, but not a problem to Terry, several others refused to take on my job. A first class job would highly recommend without hesitation.

Terry installed a new EV charger promptly after quoting and fixed a small problem efficiently within a few days.

Superb from start to finish, would absolutely recommend for any type of electrical work. Many thanks

5 Star Service, Terry is an absolute gem. Pleasant, tidy and knowledgeable throughout. Competitive costs for a A1 install. I would highly recommend 👍

Terry was the ultimate professional. He kept me informed throughout the whole process of installing my EV charge point. He explained alternatives, and options and did a pre-install survey to ensure I was happy with both his recommendations and my request. Even when we had some teething issues with the pod point itself Terry took the time to call them direct and find a solution. I am extremely happy with his standard of work, attitude, and dedication to customers. Terry clearly puts customer service at the top of his agenda and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Terry may have only installed an EV charge point for us, but he would be my first port of call for any other electrical work that we require in the future.

Really pleasant and problem-free installation of my new EV charger. The electrician was prompt, personable and professional. I'd more than happily recommend Cannon Electrical and will use them again in future!

Great service, great guy. All round great experience!

Cannon Electrical recently supplied and fitted our Zappi EV Charger. Terry was very responsive and professional from initial contact, answering questions on the integration with our existing solar PV and battery storage system, through to the final installation. We are now looking forward to sunny days and being able to charge the vehicle using the adaptive smart features of the Zappi. It is becoming rarer to find a company and individual who will go the extra mile and takes pride in their work. We are very happy with the service provided and the finished install and would not hesitate to use and recommend Terry and Cannon Electrical in the future.

Terry was excellent, starting with a call when I'd only half filled in a survey with the charger supplier. He helped talk me through my options, conducted a site survey to plan a cable route and then undertook all aspects of the work to the highest standards including lifting/re-laying paving blocks. He clearly takes pride in his work and leaves everything tidy when finished. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Super install of an Ohme Home Pro. Prompt, courteous, and exceptionally tidy. Great job!

Terry did a great job of installing my new EV charger (Ohme). He listened to what I wanted (unlike some other companies who have a boiler plate offer), turned up on time and checked with me things like positioning and height of the charger. He clearly takes pride in his work as everything was neat, tidy and well clipped. Fully recommended.

Thank you Terry for doing such a nice job of my EV charger. Terry has been very responsive throughout the process and the actual work itself has been carried out to a high standard and also with attention to detail. I couldn’t recommend him enough for electrical work.

Terry has been absolutely brilliant throughout the process of getting our EV charger. Well before the installation we had a phone call about options, and he was in touch with Northern Powergrid about the house fuse. On the day he turned up on time and was very thoughtful about where we could position the charger, and how to keep the cables neat. He left everything clean and tidy. And he sorted out everything with the government grant. Absolutely everything has been perfect. Highly recommended!

All of the above applies. Terry is both understanding of issues, a great problem solver, extremely thorough. He basically does exactly what he says he will do at the time and on the day quoted, What more could you ask for. Would I recommend this company? most certainly. If there were 6 stars then they would get the 6.

Professional and neat installation.friendly lad. Would recommend.

Great communication and work carried out exactly as discussed with updates and further discussions throughout the installation as required. Very neat and tidy job with all mess tidied up nicely.

Terry has just installed and fitted the Zappi home charger at our home address Terry arrived on time was most professional and on complication showed me all of the aspects of the install and following on showed me the way in which the Myenergi app worked. I would not hesitate to give Terry the highest recommendation and 10 out of 10 Stars.

Terry worked through some awful weather and the standard he maintained was top class. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cannon electrical to anyone. Thanks again for a 1st class installation of our Zappi.

Terry installed my zappi EV charger, prior to the installation he answered any questions I had via email and was very helpful. During installation he was very professional and I am very happy with the quality of the install. Would highly recommend Terry and Cannon Electrical.

Excellent customer service from the start to finish of this job. Terry is very knowledgeable on EV chargers, and came round to provide a free quote. Our install was far from simple, with a long cable run. Terry recommend a trench across the garden and to run the cable through our garage loft space. On the day of the install Terry arrived on time and put in a full days work to get it all finished. Everything was left neat and tidy. Very happy with my Zappi charger, it works perfectly and Terry recommended I get a additional meter fitted which records energy used for the car charger only. Very useful for company car owners, if like myself your claiming back the cost of car charging. Overall highly recommended.

Terry at Canon Electrical provided a really high quality EV charger installation. He also sorted out our garage electrics and fitted a new panel at the same time. The job was exceptionally neat/tidy - I can’t even see the supply cable. From quote to install, the process was quick, simple, and communication from Terry was great. Would highly recommend to others, and will definitely use Canon Electrical again in future.

Super neat install of our Hypervolt charger by Terry from Cannon Electrical. He also swapped out our consumer unit and checked out all of the house wiring. Brilliant job and a really nice guy to have around!

Very impressed with the professional service along with the quality of the work. We had a small issue as the fuse box was in an awkward position in the house however Terry found a solution. Would certainly recommend.

Extremely pleased with all aspects of service received, form initial contact to completion of works carried out by Terry.I will certainly be recommending him to friends and colleagues.

Terry recently fitted an EV charger for us, excellent workmanship and could not be more helpful, can highly recommend

This review is to inform Cannon Electrical of the thoroughly professional manner in which Terry Hetherington installed my electric car charger on December 7th. From the moment I first approached Terry he was impressive with his communications . Some of this work was undertaken outside during storm Barra making the job a very difficult task. Nevertheless the end result was extremely neat and tidy. Not only that Terry went above and beyond by undertaking a small technical job at no extra charge. Nothing was too much trouble and I would be very happy to have this man undertake any further electrical work for me. Terry conducted himself in a first class manner throughout so please pass on my thanks for his hard work and attention to detail.

Fantastic chap, really knowledgeable kind and friendly and the tidy job he has done fitting our hypervolt EV Charger speaks for itself. Top quality workmanship from a top bloke.

Highly recommended. No complaints at all. Terry visited, quoted, maintained communication, arrived on date/time as agreed, completed work to a high standard, talked me through the EV Charger, explained the OLEV grant process, and contacted afterwards to ensure i'm still happy. Use with confidence.

Friendly & helpful service. Good quality installation. Satisfied customer

Terry installed Zappi EV charger at my home today. Overall experience: EXCELLENT. Very tidy worker, amenable and good job done!! Highly recoomended.

Terry did a fantastic job of the car charger installation, very neat and tidy. He was also very helpful with another electrical problem he noticed and helpful to me also. A job well done from an honest individual. Not something you get these days, I would definatly recommend this company for any electrical work.

Excellent service - communication with Terry was good, and I was engaged in the installation at all times to make sure I had a system which met my requirements. First class!

Great service from Terry at Cannon Electrical. Installing a Zappi EV Charge-point. Terry was the only installer at quotation stage who noticed that the RCD’s in my main and garage consumer units were not suitable for use with EV chargers. This gave me confidence that he was competent and would make professional installation. I was not disappointed. Terry took time to make sure I was happy with how he was going to install the unit and to ensure it complied with the manufacturers warranty requirements. He worked in a tidy manner clearing up as he worked. He made sure I was happy with how the unit operated and assured me I could contact him if I needed any assistance.

Quality install of EV charge point. Comms where great from initial quote to install. Terry took the time to explain the different options I had and visited the house on initial quote which I liked as some other companies only provided a quote remotely. Customer Service from Terry was 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

Great service from Terry. Nice attention to detail and a smart looking install. Thanks!

Terry at Cannon electrical was both professional and friendly. He couldn't do enough to help with both advice and fitting of my first ever car charger. Highly recommend and would 100% use again if needed! Brilliant service!

Terry Hetherington of Cannon took on a routine job which turned to be anything but routine. The equipment was late through no fault of his ( sign of the times). Then there was a problem as the garage is so far from the house router, and finally the DNO made unreasonable demands likely to create both cost and delays. Terry always kept me informed, and made creative suggestions to get the job done, and now its all installed neatly and successfully. At this address we are unable to use all the technical gains available, but the entire until will be transferred to our new build house next year where the kit will really come into its own. In short he solved the issues and delivered. i would describe him as having good old school values of service in a young man. I have already recommended him to my eldest son for the same job in his new house in February, and would recommend him elsewhere without doubt. Stephen and Nicola Clarke.

Terry did an amazing job, lifting slate clippings, hiding cable, safety checking as he went, making no mess, explaining everything as he went through the day, he did a totally awesome job 100% recommended

Terry was fantastic, i could not have asked for anything more. Excellent service and a great guy! As someone who is pretty selective when it comes to trades people I could not have asked for anything more from Terry. From the first time he came for a site survey the communication via emails and Phone calls were all very professional, friendly and he obviously had the whole project under great control, from start to final testing. During the install, faulty parts were supplied and Terry dealt with this and managed the issue with excellent professionalism and speed. He did everything for me as the customer that was possible and to be honest, going over and above what i could have asked for, keeping me fully up to date and informed on what was happening and what he had done about it. Overall I’m really pleased with the project Terry has completed, i have no doubts in recommending him to anyone. Terry… thank you for all you did, i know you went over and above many times, it was hugely appreciated and the job you have done is first class. Many Thanks again Glyn

Terry was everything you expect of a professional tradesman. He was prompt always replied to emails and queries. We would always use him for any electrical work in the future. His work was very clean neat and tidy. The Ev charger he fitted is great and he talked us through it and did not leave until we were happy.

Read a number of Terry’s reviews which is why I chose Cannon Electrical. What a polite, professional person and service I got! He responded quickly to my enquiry. Very neat installation and could not have been more helpful explaining how to download and use the App. Very highly recommended.

After researching EV wall chargers and fitting I was contacted by Cannon Electrical, a local firm near me. Terry Contacted me within hours of making the enquiry and we set up a convenient time to assess my property for the installation of my EV charger box. Terry explained what he had to do and sent me a quote within 24hours. The Zappi charger is locally built so I was very happy with that and it also allows me to use power from my solar panels as well as the grid. Terry organised everything from ordering the charger, contacting Northern Power and applying for the EV grant. The day he came to fit the box he agreed with me where cables and box would go and set to. On completion of the installation he showed me the controls and explained how to get the best from my charger, solar panels and power from the grid. He set up my phone to monitor the charging and linked it to the WiFi so I can monitor it from anywhere. Terry, from start to finish, was an absolutely professional about everything. His workmanship is exemplary, everything is neat and tidy, neatly tucked away in the cupboard and he explained how everything worked in simple terms and left my home clean and tidy. The invoice and certificate of conformity have been sent to show it has been fitted correctly and meets the NAPIT building regulations standards. I highly recommend him if you want an EV charger box fitting to your home or office but he does other electrical work as well and I am sure this aspect of his work is of an excellent standard as well.

I needed an EV charger fitting and completed the information request on the MyEnergi website. Terry was very quick to respond to this by phone, followed up by a quote and then a site visit. All through the process, Terry was extremely professional, respectful and showed a great deal of patience in answering all the questions put to him. He has a great knowledge of his subject. He did a fantastic job with the installation at the front of the house. He took great pains to fully conceal the supply cable, so all that can be seen is the charger and no wires showing at all. Afterwards, everything was fully explained and demonstrated. He really was a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again in the future for any electrical needs.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cannon Electrical. Terry obviously knows what he is doing. The whole process was efficient, even with the availability of EV chargers being not so easy to get hold of due to the global chip shortages. Very pleased.

Terry (Cannon Electrical) did a great job all the way from quoting for the work (via pictures and info over email), all the way through to delivery, installation and checking in after fitting to see how using the charger was going. He massively went out of his way ahead of installation date to travel to suppliers to make sure he had a unit he could fit for me. Faultless service, with great communication at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend. Mark York (Home installation of a MyEnergi Zappi charger on my garage outside wall)

Terry was very knowledgeable about the product & kept me informed at all stages of the installation. I was very happy with the work carried out & I chose this company as all my questions were answered promptly before the installation:) I would highly recommend Terry ! In fact I’ve already recommended him to Trust Ford in Barnsley :)

Terry was very professional throughout. It was also very nice to come across a tradesman that gave customer service at all times. Excellent work fitting my solar and battery storage to the zappi.

Professional, informative, very helpful and a tidy installation.

Terry is a very professional, helpful electrician, I can't recommend him highly enough. You can trust this man to do a good job on time and in budget, he returned as I had a few questions.

Excellent work by Terry fitting our EV charge point. Went above and beyond! Will be using him again, highly recommended!

The customer service I received has been excellent, Terry replied to the requested work within 24 hours and came round to discuss the proposed work. He was timely, polite, clearly explained the work that was required as well as listening to our questions and needs. Due to the parts shortages, he kept me up to date and booked a time that was convenient. His communication was always professional and timely. He called the day after the installation to check that everything was okay and was happy to go through some key points over the phone, very good customer service. The installation of a 7Kw Zappi Home Charger was completed to a very high standard and to the specification we requested. I have attached some photographs. I would recommend this company for anyone wishing to install a home EV charger.

Terry from Cannon Electrical did a great job fitting an OHME EV charging point today. From first contacting me, the whole process was very straightforward. He explained the whole government grant scheme and the pros and cons of the various charger options available; handled all the grant paperwork; and arrived on time and did an excellent and very tidy job of fitting the charger. Highly recommended.

Terry from Cannon Electrical came today to fit my ev charger. What a nice guy! He was prompt, extremely courteous and did a great job. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any electrical work.

Fantastic job, installing a tethered Zappi EV charger, really happy. I asked a number of companies for quotes, he was the only one who took the time to ring and ask and answer questions about the installation. Great service and have already recommended to a friend.

Terry was fantastic at installing my Ohme charger! And sorted all of the OZEV claim paperwork. 100% would recommend!

Terry was fantastic and did a great job. He spent a long time with me working out the best place to install the charger and also after completing the work spent time again helping me to set up my smart phone and making sure I made use of the best charging time etc and explaining everything to me. I really didn't expect him to do as much as he did. Cannot recommend highly enough. Don't hesitate if you are considering using him. Polite, patient, genuine, clean, tidy thoroughly decent guy ......Great company, great guy. Five stars

Terry was such a professional gentleman. Did the job to our satisfaction and we are very happy the way our EV charger is installed and working. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

I got Cannon Electrical’s name from a referral from someone on an EV online forum. I reached out not really knowing much about EV installation or Cannon Electrical. Terry was top class from first contact right through to post installation support. Terry sorted everything for the EV installation grant too, keeping me updated throughout. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Terry at cannon electrical installed my ohme charge point today. What a fantastic job he did in such poor weather conditions. Very neat and clean install. I had input at all stages where I wanted things to go and Terry also kept me informed throughout the process of what he was doing. I couldn't recommend cannon electrical enough for all your EV needs

Great advice, efficient service, nothing to much trouble, arrived on time, clean and tidy install of the very impressive InstaVolt EV Charger. I Highly recommend Terry to anyone wanting an EV charger fitting.

Excellent service highly recommend

Terry installed our Hypervolt charger in a very professional manner, an extremely neat and tidy installation explaining everything from start to finish. Very happy with the choice of charger simple to use with full control from my phone.

Fitted Zappi Car Charger and Harvi unit to monitor home usage and charge my car of solar production. Fantastic job well done! I found Terry to be really informative, friendly, open honest and upfront about charges, paid great attention to detail from photos taken and followed up with questions to confirm installation points prior to quoting, and was able to foresee some problems. Work was carried out efficiently, on time, with minimal disruption. COVID safe, conscious of distance, face masks and hand hygiene ensuring property was well ventilated when having to work on the inside.

Very happy with the service when fitting our Car Charger. Attention to detail and site visit before fitting ensured all went seamlessly followed by good instructions on how to use the app. A very tidy job completed early. Thankyou.

Terry was timely, professional and took pride in his work with attention to detail. He was very friendly and followed up to ensure everything was OK once the work was complete. Highly recommended.

Terry sorted everything out for us, hassle free. The charger installation is tidy, he explored our options with us before he installed it. He worked quickly & quietly and tidied up everything after himself. In general excellent workmanship! Would highly recommend him.

Terry was by far the most responsive and helpful of the people I got quotes from for a home EV charger. He answered my questions, he chased things up for me and was very reasonable cost-wise. A faceless national firm quoted cheaper but I felt more confident in Terry. Work was done to a high standard and he turned up when he said he would. I recommend him to anyone.

Great service, polite and professional. Took care with Covid rules, explained everything clearly, tidied up after installation.

Wonderful company to use. Cannon Electrical installed an Ohme charger at my home. All work completed to the highest standard. I would highly recommend.

Installed a EV charger and socket, all sorted quickly from start to finish, great communication and very helpful throughout. Would recommend 100%

Cannon Electrical installed an Ohme charger at our home this week. Excellent service from Terry from the very first contact. Quote arrived promptly and was well laid out and easy to understand. On the phone Terry was clear and answered all the questions I had. Response to emails is quick and concise. Good comms as fitting day drew nearer. Terry arrived bang on time with everything necessary to carry out the work. He suggested an alternative location for the installation that I hadn't considered, and was much better. Installation was carried out efficiently and cleanly - both inside and outside. Full explanation of how the unit operates was given along with the offer of support if needed. I would definitely recommend Cannon Electrical and Terry. He is a professional and courteous individual. Thanks for a great install experience.

Absolute first class service. Terry was polite, professional and helpful from the very first contact. Terry kept me informed all the way through the DNO approval process, so I always knew how things were progressing. Install was perfect, arrived at the time suggested. Had all the gear needed and workmanship was spot on. Nicely routed and ducted cables. Relabeled the full fuse box. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Terry

Terry from Cannon Electrical ordered our chosen Ohme EV home charger, dealt with the government grant paperwork, kept in touch from start to finish and clearly took great pride in his work, evidenced in particular when he carried out a professional neat installation. I recommend Cannon Electrical and Terry to anyone looking for a professional, competitively priced, reliable electrical contractor.

Efficient installation of Zappi EV charge point in the face of a somewhat idiosyncratic meter setup.

Terry was really great, answered all my questions and kept me in the loop about the arrival of my charger. Would definitely recommend!

Terry was brilliant. Arrived on time at a weekend too and did a great job. Returned a few days later to do the internal work on the fuse box. And also did me a small extra job on a wall light. Really pleased with the result and Terry will be my “go to” electrician from now on. Would recommend Cannon to anyone.

Fitted an ohme charger. Even arranged to get the power grid out to check the existing connection which was worthwhile as they found an issue which could of caused problems further down the line. All round perfect service. Would recommend

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I was having trouble getting an EV home charger installed, 9weeks later I called OHME who got cannon to call me, came out that day to site survey, quote the same evening and as soon as the electric company provided details to them it was fitted 2days later. Very professional clean and tidy and top job.I'll be contacting them any electrical and recommending them to everyone I know. Sorry for the late review Terry Hetherington, I Thank you immensely for your time and and workmanship.

Terry helped to push through the process of having the charger fitted, he arrived on time and despite the horrible freezing weather carried the work out in a friendly and professional manner. I would highly recommend.

Terry from Cannon Electrical made an excellent job of an awkward installation. He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable, and gave great advice on the use of the Ohme charger and the associated phone app. An all round first class service. Highly recommended.

Terry was prompt, thorough, courteous and professional throughout the installation. The work was conducted carefully and we were walked through the operation of the unit. I've had a couple of other charger installations at other properties and this was the best so far - heartily recommend.

Top service from start to finish! Terry even offered to come and see me on weekends or an evening due to my work commitments and nothing was ever too much. Super efficient and helpful. If you are considering installing an Ev Point at your home or work place, don’t bother going anywhere else!

Cannon electrical installed my electric vehicle charger at my home. Terry kept us updated all the way through the install and the service we received was first class. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for ev charging installers.

I was recommended Cannon electrical by a friend, they conducted an electrical safety report at my property and completed the work required to meet the standards. I was sent photos of the work which needed doing beforehand which was very reassuring. Really pleased with the standard of work and Terry explained what had been done and even took the old parts for disposal. Cost of the work was within my budget and I would definitely recommend them.

Needed my inverter replacing for my solar panels. Arrived on time. Inverter replaced efficiently and professionally. Highly recommended
