Called very late on Saturday night, Calum got straight back to me and gave me advice to make sure my electrics were safe and put my mind at rest, then he came the next morning to disconnect, check and test. Definitely recommend and will use again in future

Calum came out the next day and altered the faulty wiring for my immersion circuit. He checked the full circuit as it was loose and unsafe causing the switch to heat up as somebody installed the wrong switch. Found RCD faulty as it was overloaded. He noticed the water tank was leaking as the element had been installed incorrectly, that could cause the loft to leak. Element cables was loose also contributing to the problem that he sorted out, checked and tested. Highly rated.

Calum installed my electric mirror in the bathroom and replaced the lights to LED IP rated lights and made sure they were RCD protected for safety. He did a professional job and checked everything properly. Calum also tested my bedroom socket and sorted for a fair price

Excellent electrician. Replaced halogen lighting that wasn't working properly with quality LED lighting. Instead of using 150 watts for 3 lights now down to 12 watts. Much cheaper to run, look better and more efficient. Pleased with the result. Would recommend Calum.

Callum fitted me a replacement light in my bathroom. He gave excellent advice on what to fit and explained all the options available. His work was very professional and thorough from the start he checked everything and also found a missing earth and a loose switch. The Old wiring and switch was replaced and everything was tested to meet all safety standards and regulations. A good job I would certainly recommend him and use him again. Thank you Callum.

Great service from start to finish. Calum took the time to explain the correct information about my smoke alarms, especially after another company had previously given me incorrect advice. He came out promptly and fitted the best smoke alarms so I won’t need to worry about replacing them again anytime soon. He also clearly explained how to change the heads and batteries when they eventually need replacing, which was really helpful. Professional, knowledgeable, and honest — highly recommended.

Calum was an absolute life saver! After nicking a cable during diy on a Saturday evening I had large safety concerns and couldn't find anyone to come to fix the fault until Monday afternoon, I had asked Calum if he could come and isolate the fault to ensure we are safe until Monday. Not only did he arrive in around 15 minutes, he isolated the fault straight away and even found a fuse cartridge that was wired incorrectly and had replaced it with the cartridge from the faulty cabling. He'd also advised me where to get a replacement more modern fuse and how to save time during the Monday call-out 5* really saved the day and went above and beyond!

Calum came out straight away on a Saturday afternoon as the boiler had a fault on it, he tested the controls then put temporary power to the boiler to get me up and running within a hour. He rebooked me in through the week at a lower rate to identify the fault and rectify within a reasonable timeframe. Tested everything and had to replace a few things and reconnect various wires properly, re - linked my wireless stat and checked function of my boiler on completion. He also found a wrong size fuse wire had been installed for my upstairs lighting circuit which I asked him to replace as it was potentially dangerous. Would definitely recommend

Called Callum to help me with my downstairs lights which had tripped. I spoke to him on the weekend and we arranged a Monday morning fix. I wasn't at home so we agreed for him to come in on his own and sort it. Just back from work now and he's fixed the problem, sorted out some other lights unrelated to the job and given me great advice on bulbs for a fixture all for a very reasonable price. Great service, he's gone above and beyond. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, really recommend they came so quickly and found the problem and got it sorted.

Would definitely recommend. We had drilled into the wall hitting an electric cable, which had partially cut our power. Calum came out straight within half a hour of us having no power. Corrected the problem within 2 hours and tested everything. Had to alter and test a few bits to make sure the circuit was still safe so we could have our power back on. Left notes on paperwork as he found an open circuit, so had to reduce the fuse size until fault can be rectified at a further date.

C Clark Electrical installed and fixed the faulty down lights in my kitchen to the perfect level of light. Whilst doing so some faulty wiring and a cracked connection box was found and rectified. I also requested new down lights be installed in an upstairs bedroom. The work was fiddly and messy in a hundred and fifty year old house and Calum found a few issues left by previous tradespeople which needed attention, he talked me through all the work in detail explaining current regulations and ensuring things were safe. Calum was patient, friendly, efficient and tidy and I highly recommend his services.

Finally found an electrician that knows his trade. Calum not only replaced faulty smoke alarms but also noticed someone else had mixed them up with another brand. He also made sure the faulty one and the other branded one was replaced. He told us they have to match or this can cause problems within the alarms themselves. He also told us when and how to change the batteries.. Highly recommended, not enough stars.

Had a full electrical test done at our home today by Calum, it was done really thoroughly and absolutely nothing was missed - he even discovered an outlet we were unaware of. He is a true professional and although everything had been labelled incorrectly by a previous electrician and various faults were found he still managed to complete it all and very kindly pre filled the paperwork so it would take less time . Very friendly and happy to answer our 5 years olds many questions. Will be recommending to our friends 10/10

Although Calum was catching up with other work when I contacted him, he was happy to come out straight away and help me and my family in a poor situation. I contacted C Clark Electrical to provide us with a new electric socket in the kitchen for a new dishwasher. Calum answered the call right away, then visited the next day to see what was required. He explained what he would need to do, quoted for the work and came back to complete it. I was really impressed by Calum's knowledge and how he explained to us the work needed. He found that the earth wire had been connected to the wrong water pipe, then fixed that for us too. He has all the right qualifications and I'm happy that the work he's done for us is safe. He cleaned up any bits and checked all the trip switches too as part of the work. If that's not impressive enough, he let me know straightaway that I'd paid the invoice twice by mistake, then transferred the money back into my bank account. All round impressed with his professionalism and honesty. I would definitely recommend C Clark Electrical for all your electrical requirements. The original wiring installation was very poor and Calum corrected all the faults to enable a Landlord's Electrical Safety Certificate to be issued. Callum has done quite a few jobs for me and I would not get anyone else to do my electrical work now. He is polite hardworking and most importantly excellent at what he does. The first time I had Callum round was to fit some sockets and when he left he had not only done the sockets but had also found a great number of potentially dangerous problems with my electrics, some which I had also seen and some not so obvious to the untrained eye. These problems were sorted out straight away. We went from replacing 3 to 4 bulbs almost weekly to not having one blow in months now. I feel totally safe with my electrics now, which was not the case before Callum sorted all these problems out. He is a hard working honest and very pleasant guy. Many thanks Callum.

Calum is very much in demand. He moved a ceiling spotlight and added a further one in our kitchen. He also added three spotlights that shine down onto wardrobe doors in a bedroom, the effect looks very modern and highlights the woodgrain in the doors. He also fitted up/downlighters on the wall either side of the bed. I intend to use Calum again to install other light fittings as well as electrical points in the loft.

Calum at C Clark Electrical is an excellent electrician and has done various jobs at my apartment. He has carried out all maintenance repairs and energy reduction throughout my electrical installation. He fixed, cleaned and set the my storage heater to maximise efficiency. He has also replaced my off peak immersion control panel to a better practicle product. He installed some quality electronic timers for my bathroom heaters and reduced power output by half. Also all my halogen down lights with transformers was replaced for new LEDS. His knowlege in electrical work is extensive and with the products he's used and guarantee I have I'm certain to save on electricity.
