Brilliant service, bought a recondition scooter as the one I was using was making a clunking noise. Too expensive to repair. Engineer knew exactly what it was. We had taken it to another mobility shop in the past with the same problem and it wasnt dealt with properly. Would definitely recommend South Lakes mobility shop.

The lady who served us was so lovely, my son had an emergency operation on his foot the day before our holiday to the Lake District. The lady with brown hair (sorry I didn't take a name) sorted us out with a rental scooter which gave my son his mobility back, since he couldn't walk. Thank you so much! Highly recommend supporting this small business.

We arrived for on a coach holiday with a mobility scooter battery that had been dropped on the journey. ( my husband has MS and cannot walk) I took the battery in first thing on the Monday morning and 20 minutes later I was back in the taxi on the way to our hotel in time for the days outing . Battery case removed, connection faulty connection restored and I was on my way. The gentleman wouldn't even take payment. Thanks to you we managed to have a lovely holiday.

Quite shocked to be told that it is very expensive to hire a wheelchair as l wanted to after an accident because the price is geared for tourists...why call it lakes mobility if it is not affordable for locals..Quite disgusting

If ever you need help with your disability these guy's will jump through hoops to get you what you need, a very pleasant place to visit and parking on the car park at the supermarket helps greatly. Be sure to tell them the guy from Whitehaven sent you.

We came to Kendal for a weeks holiday and I was unable to bring my mobility scooter with me, these guys were able to help me and I hired a scooter for the week at a very reasonable price,it made getting around alot more easier 😀

We were staying over in the Western Lakes near Seascale, and SLMS were kind enough to drop a scooter across to our holiday cottage and pick it up at the end of our trip. The scooter meant we could do so much more with my elderly father than we would otherwise have been able to do, so was well worth the money.
