Encore Electrical customers report positive experiences across a range of jobs. One reviewer praised Luke's lighting design ideas and the time he took to understand the project, and another described him fixing lighting and switch issues quickly and in a friendly, professional way. Others said the firm was reliable and turned up when promised, that Luke found and fixed a challenging fault and replaced a dimmer switch, and that work such as installing sockets and lighting in a summerhouse, rewiring halogen spotlights to LED and rewiring a house was done tidily and professionally. One reviewer described the service as disorganised: they were sent another customer's quote, a date was agreed and then missed, with a call-out given as the reason, though the person who priced the job was pleasant. One reviewer also said the work was good value.
An Electrical & Light Design Professional with Creativity and Exceptional Service I have recently completed a renovation of a bungalow and Luke at Encore Electrical has done the most fantastic job with the electrics and lighting. He has a great eye for lighting design and brought fresh, creative ideas to the project, and ensured that the different spaces are lit to perfection while also reflecting the unique character of the property – a strip light Luke installed around a vaulted area is stunning! What I really liked was his advice of not putting more and more lights in for the sake of it – it is all so well balanced. We discussed different coloured sockets for the different areas and Luke sourced ones that matched perfectly. Luke is friendly and very approachable. He takes the time to listen, understand what you hope to achieve, and then translates those ideas into innovative lighting solutions that exceed expectations. Working with Luke has been a really enjoyable experience making the process smooth from start to finish. I can’t recommend Luke and Encore Electrical more highly. If you want brilliant ideas, professional expertise, and a friendly, collaborative working relationship, Luke is the perfect choice for any lighting and electrical design project.
I contacted Luke sharing my concerns with issues I was having with lighting and switches and he offered an appointment quickly. Fixed the issues for me with friendly and professional attitude Highly recommend, thank you
Encore Electrical are always reliable, answer messages and turn up when they say they are going to, something not all traders do. Luke just completed a particularly challenging fault finding job for us and as always his professionalism stands out. He was determined to find out why one of our rose fittings was misbehaving and he did, solving a few other issues at the same time, and replacing a failing dimmer switch. Almost don't want to recommend in case he gets to popular!!
Excellent service from start to finish, nice guys clean neat and tidy work, good price, defo use again. 👍👍
Very happy with the service. They installed electricity into our summerhouse with sockets and lighting a couple of months ago. Photo to follow, thank you.
I found Luke by looking in ‘The Edge’ for an electrician. I am so happy I did. He arrived prompt, and rewired my ceiling halogen spot lights over to led. I found him very professional & competitive have recommend him to friends & family. Thanks Luke.
Encore Electrical did an excellent job of rewiring my house. Just bought a house and we have yet to plan how we will decorate but Luke thought things through and helped suggest what would be needed to future proof the house. Would definitely recommend.
Replace fuse box, consumer unit. Luke arrived on time did a great job and left everything neat and tidy. I will be using him again.
Install garden lights Luke showed up on time as promised, was a professional, friendly man. He installed new garden lights and I am really happy with the work he carried out for me. I would definitely use him again.
Consumer unit upgrade Luke has completed several jobs for us this year including outdoor lighting, spotlights, electric fireplace spur and new consumer unit all of which we are very happy with and are completed to a high standard. we will be using Luke in the future.
Luke (Encore Electrical) was extremely approachable, professional and competent with the services he provided. A lettings electrical assessment was carried out. Very pleased with his work, thank you
I have no idea whether the work these guys do is good or not since I gave up trying to get some done. They were very disorganized. They got me confused with another customer, sending me that customer's quote. They quite literally didn't know what day of the week it was and when we finally agreed on a date, they failed to turn up, saying they'd had a call out. I've given them one star because although the guy I dealt with was an administrative pain in the neck, when he came to price the job, he was very pleasant.
Great job sorted out my electrical problems everything working well. Thank you
Encore electrical re-wired my house whilst I was still living there, very tidy, professional and done a brilliant job as there was stuff in the way, so happy with the service and highly recommend
