I recently hired Oaks Electrical to carry out a range of work in my property, including installing new sockets in all rooms, Recessing existing sockets, fitting CCTV Cameras and a floodlight. Drew provided a very reasonable quote from the outset and was more than happy to make adjustments and even come for a second visit to ensure we are quoted correctly for the work we wanted, which gave me confidence in choosing them for the job. From day one, he was punctual, arriving on time every day and keeping me informed in advance if there were any delays. What really stood out was his flexibility and professionalism. Even after the work had already started, Drew was more than happy to accommodate amendments without any issues, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Another big positive was how tidy they were throughout the job. They consistently cleaned up after themselves and took great care to minimise any damage, leaving the property in excellent condition. Can't recommend enough, we were stuck in a serious pickle and Oaks came out rapid to help us out. I was just half way through cooking some chicken fajitas when everything went bang, complete darkness, couldn't bloody believe it. Anyway we were back up and running in no time thanks to these guys. Drew did an EICR for me on Saturday 28 June 2025, he said I'd receive the EICR the next day (Sunday). After blaming his "admin dept" , then going away on holiday and getting robbed and his mobile phone stolen and all the money taken out of his banking apps I finally received the EICR on the 31 July. I wouldn't give him a job changing a plug

Called drew to fit an external socket in the shed and fit an electric hob as well as switching out an external vent cowling he was prompt on all occasions even keeping me informed that he would be delayed due to overrun on his first job would highly recommend and will be getting further work done when required in the future.

I phoned Drew for some emergency electrical work at the weekend. He offered to rearrange some other work that he had planned, attend my property and sort out the problem. Based on this, he carried out some remedial work for me at a later date. Drew was quick to respond to emails, phone calls and texts and turned up on time on both appointments. He was friendly and I felt confident in the work that he did. I would definitely engage him for future work and so recommend him.

Drew came and fixed my light switch at short notice, reasonably priced and it was fixed in a flash! I was stressed thinking this would be a big job as all my lights went out. Would definitely recommend!

Drew did a great job of replacing our old fuse box, updating and certifying our electrics. Gave full explanation of work required and cost. Upgraded supply to summer house and outbuilding. We found him to be punctual and quick to respond. Highly recommended.

phoned 7 electricians last saturday but none answered - Drew was the 8th - I explained I wanted a cooker cable installed from the consumer unit to the kitchen: Drew came to look and quoted a very, very reasonable price on Saturday late afternoon and carried out the work the next morning (Sunday morning!). Very efficient, tidy installation and gave me some free advice on wiring in the kitchen extractor fan which saved me several hours and chopping into newly plastered wall. Brilliant all round service and value - highly recommended.

We called this company on a whim on a Sunday evening on the off chance it was possible to fit us in, Drew went the extra mile for us and sorted our light fittings, Can’t thank them enough Great service smart work and didn’t charge over the odds for a Sunday which we was more then happy about
