WarmZilla Ltd customers describe both positive installation experiences and serious problems. Several reviewers report easy ordering, clear pricing and helpful customer service, with some praising individual staff and fitters by name. Others report poor workmanship, including leaks, damaged walls and ceilings, and boilers fitted in ways that later caused faults. A recurring criticism is difficulty getting problems fixed: multiple reviewers describe delayed or missed appointments, unresolved leaks and poor communication after installation. Some reviewers also report being disappointed with annual service plans, including long waits and unresolved faults.
Absolutely excellent service and flexibility. They were willing to go above and being to expedite my boiler fitting when I explained my case. Arguably the most empathetic bunch I’ve dealt with so far. Their engineer was willing to return and check the system over when I reported other symptoms in the hearing system which was totally not their fault. He gave a diagnosis and advised the way forward. Double thumbs up!
During boiler installation damage was cause to our newly decorated wall, the installer decided to go up a ladder on the outside or the building to remove the flue and in his words he said he had to smack the S**t out of it, with a hammer. When I complained about the damage they told me to send photos of the damage, then to arrange quotes. The cheapest quote sent through was £600 for the damaged wall. They then said they were not going to reimburse me for the damage because I had signed a satisfaction survey! I asked for proof of this and recieved a PDF computer generated form with fraudulent questions answered saying I was happy with the work and installation and because I had signed this they were only going to offer £100. I opened a claim with finance company to recover the monies, we agreed on warmzilla to reimburse me £300. They then stalled once again and would nt answer emails, once again the finance company were contacted and I received my money. This whole mess was caused by Warmzilla they made me wait months and I had to fight hard to get a result, they are an untrustworthy company and do not recommend.
Absoutlely Fantastic Company To Deal With! They have fitted our new boiler at such short notice at a very competitive price! Couldn’t recommend this company enough!
Where do you start with this company Firstly steer clear. I had the misfortune of purchasing a EV charger from this company in August 2025. They sub contracted out the ev installation to a third party company It’s was installed incorrectly, causing damage to my home central heating system, due to a wiring fault on installation. The unit was exchanged and still didn’t work. 6 months after my initial complaint and numerous emails what’s app messaging I was in formed that the issue had been forwarded to the senior management team This procrastination team must only meet annually. So 10 months into the issue still nothing, But no doubt a comment from warmzilla will be attached to this review
Avoid this company at all costs. They fitted a new boiler and the workmanship was poor to say the least, they have damaged my ceiling from leaving a radiator valve open, they damaged my kitchen worktop from standing on it instead of using ladders. The boiler has been losing pressure and we discovered it was because the magnetic filter they had fitted was also leaking! Despite sending in photographs of the damage they have not even bothered to send someone out to rectify the issues. I have had to take this to Trading Standards because it has been almost a month since the boiler was fitted and I still haven't an offer of an engineer to even have a look at the issues. Other customers have had similar experiences it seems. I will be taking legal action.
A company that gets customer service. If only all companies were like Warmzilla. Just made my second major purchase with them of air con having bought a boiler off them before. Their prices cannot be beaten - lowest to be found but they operate a price match in the unlikely event that you find a better price - and their customer service is phenomenal. Nothing is too much for them. They respond quickly and professionally to any query you raise. They really are my go to company for the household items they offer and they should be yours too!
Extremely Disappointed – Avoid if You Value Reliability and Safety The ordering process was quick and easy, but everything after that was a nightmare. The installation was delayed by six weeks, with the engineer failing to turn up on four separate occasions. Each time I was promised a call back from customer service, but none ever came. When the boiler was finally installed, the work was sloppy and unsafe — the chimney wasn’t fitted correctly, and the electrics were poorly done. Because of the chimney issue, smoke entered my home and made my family ill. It was terrifying and completely unacceptable. After waiting again for corrections, I noticed a strong smell of oil that has only worsened. Three weeks later, my oil levels have dropped, suggesting a leak in the pipework, and the boiler is losing pressure too. What should have been a straightforward job turned into weeks of stress, health risks, and constant chasing. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere until they improve their reliability, communication, and workmanship.
Still waiting for a boiler service that was due in January I have made contact numerous times, initially I was told our engineers are really busy even though I could arrange next service just by picking up the phone. Then I was offered two days while I was away on holiday then I was offered a short notice service because of a cancellation, short notice is not much help when I need to arrange a day of work plus I paying for a service for an annual service the clue is in the title, "Annual Service' I had a service in 2025 so surely a scheduler should be able to plan ahead. Still taking the money each month, probably voided my warranty with Worcester Bosch now as I've missed a service. Very disappointed.
Was going to do a monthly plan however after reading reviews I’m staying well clear of this company. Thanks everyone I think I dodged a bullet by the sounds of it. Warmzilla you should know a lot of people read reviews before purchasing.
Waited a year for a service after taking out a plan when they came and done a service the broke my timer which was working ok before they touched it . And said i needed a new gas valve which wss faulty. I got worcester bosh out under gtee and they conformmed all was ok so im going to trading standards
Amazing service would definitely recommend
We are still waiting for two months for an engineer to attend the property for a boiler check and radiator leak. The temperature in this two months went below 10°C, but still they never came. They always found bad excuses, a fat tyre or they take a picture to the property to show they attended, but in fact they never intended to attend. -10 starts, one is to much. They left us to sleep in temperature below 10°C in December and January. Don't trust them they will attend, becase they won't.
Didn't turn up first time they promised Second time ended up with leaks did contact
Absolutely amazing service they came on time and the communication from them was amazing
Great personal customer service Easy and fuss free install
Excellent service! All processes were easy and stress free! From buying it on the website, the guys they arranged to install it and the after care from customer services! All so easy and stress free - Great Job WarmZilla!
I have a monthly payment plan with WarmZilla and the experience has been completely unsatisfactory. It took an excessive amount of time and numerous emails just to arrange a routine boiler service. After the service was finally completed, the boiler was left dripping and leaking. It has now been 20 days and despite repeated reassurance that the issue was being treated as urgent, it remains unresolved. There has been no meaningful communication or action. This company shows no regard for customer care. I would strongly advise avoiding them altogether. They take your money and provide little to no service in return.
Warmzilla accepted my order, let me go through the whole finance process, to then cancel one working day before saying they don't service Northern Ireland. Wasted 2 weeks of my time when they could've easily just not accepted the offer to begin with.
Very poor let down on numerous occasions
I recently had Warmzilla install a new boiler at my home, and I’m thrilled with the service I received. Elliott and Josh was fantastic from the start, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood all my options. The installation team, Jake and Charlie, were incredibly professional, efficient, and thorough throughout the entire process. Not only did they replace my old boiler with a new, high-quality one, but they also checked the entire system to ensure everything was working perfectly. They fitted new pipes and even went above and beyond by carrying out extra work that I hadn’t anticipated. It’s clear that these guys take pride in their work. I really appreciated how the team communicated with me at every stage and ensured I was happy with everything. The whole experience was smooth, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the result. I highly recommend Warmzilla, and especially from customer service Elliott and Josh and the engineers Jake and Charlie, for anyone looking for top-notch heating services!
I'm not one to usually leave a review, but I really want to thank Caryl for the fantastic service from start to end. I needed my boiler replaced as my previous one suddenly broke and was able to get it installed within 2 days. After going through the quick survey on their website, Caryl assisted me with getting an engineer in asap who arrived on time and made the whole process simple and efficient. Great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for boiler fitting or repairs 👍
Extremely disappointed with the service. The installation was sloppy, with the old thermostat left in place, and leaks developed afterward, for which they tried to shift the blame. There’s been little to no compensation offered. After spending over £3k on a boiler, I regret not going with a local company. Hopefully I end up in the position to update this if they decide to compensate me accordingly
I had loads of questions upfront (never done this kind of purchase before) and every member of the team was quick and helpful, explaining everything in detail and giving me great comfort. Simple process when ordered, no nasty surprises afterwards, and everything went pretty much as planned and expected on the day (my only slight issue was no contact from the engineer before he turned up on the day).
Quote is incredibly well priced and no added extras. Rory the gas engineer fitted a new boiler and 9 radiators in a day. No fuss and did the work perfectly. Very impressed.
Fantastic job done replacing my old boiler. Really quick booking. They laid out all the options on their website with clear pricing. The team at Warmzilla looked after me the whole process, from making sure the space for the new boiler was ready and working around my awkward schedule to get it installed as pain free and hassle-free as possible.
Excellent service !!! From contacting to installation quick and efficient. Big thank you to Professionals installers Scott and Martin! We wish you many happy returns 😊Kind regards from Bolton family.
WarmZilla completely saved my bacon if I'm honest. I managed to get a new boiler installed within 2 days without need to speak to anyone at all (a big bonus because I hate talking on the phone). Frankly I'm confused as to how that was even possible from what I knew about other people's nightmare experiences getting a boiler... Professional and efficient from start to finish and the guy who came was super accommodating. Cannot recommend enough.
Great!
Warmzilla Installed the boiler to close to the wall which meant the control panel can not be opened. A independent engineer issued a danger notice. Warmzilla claim met the manufacturer guidelines although panel can not be opened. Worchester have confirmed the installation doesn’t meet their guidelines. After weeks of delay, warmzilla are still refusing to repair the issues they have caused and move the boiler. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I hadn't heard of Warmzilla before my boiler installation but thank goodness I came across them. The price of the package, which is the boiler, filter and installation, was unbelievably cheap to the point I was thinking they were too good to be true! The customer service team kept in constant touch with me and gave great reassurances, couldn't fault them. The installation by Scott was absolute class, couldn't believe how fast he was, coming all the way from Rotherham and then fitting it in about 2 hours was incredible. He was a nice chap too. Great stuff from Warmzilla, thank you for everything.
Usless unprofessional company, no customer focus. I have dealt with many companies, but Warmzilla has been one of the worst. They pride themselves on being an online company, yet their online surveys are worthless, and communication becomes extremely difficult after payment. After they surveyed my home online, they offered a boiler and kit that weren't compatible with the rest of my heating and hot water system. We only relised this when the engineer arrived in my house. They offered another option (different boiler and kit), but I had to collect all fittings and the boiler myself due to desperation, as they had no idea how to sort it out in time. It was total chaos. Took me few hours drive to get it sorted. While after installation, I discovered that the "Summer mode" water function didn't work in my house, which had never been an issue before. I was grateful to have heating in November when it was constantly under 8 degrees outside so I didnt try when I had the engneer was on site. However, when I tried to contact customer service, a painful and difficult communication chain ensued. Instead of helping, they blamed one of my system elements, the 2 Ways Valve, claiming it was broken. After 8-10 weeks and around 10 email exchanges (they were not always prompt to respond), I convinced them that there was nothing wrong with my valve. They then sent an engineer who diagnosed a cylinder thermostat fault. Side note: There was nothing wrong with the 2 Ways Valve at all, but they happily blamed it for 10 weeks. Believing them, I replaced the cylinder thermostat with a brand new one Guess what, I still had the same problem and it is in 2024 March. What actually happened is that the engineer who did the installation messed up something when setting up the electricity solution, and Warmzilla simply blamed it on my existing kit without offering any further help. If I log in the famos online service portal, it still shows the wrongly recomended boiler (I never had it) and I didnt recived invoice at all. In conclusion, please read all negative reviews carefully; there are plenty of them. They are the real ones. Choose another company, especially if the installation isn't straightforward, and avoid them as they wont help. Stay away from Warmzilla Side Note2: Despite my review, Warmzilla still hasn't been able to close my case and has replied to my review publicly. I respect that but their opinoin and most of their statment are incorrect becsoe of the follwing reasons: So here is my inkates about the statements they made in the reply. 1. Warmzilla needed to offer a new boiler because they failed on the online survey and provided and accepted a boiler that wasn't compatible with my existing wiring system. The question arises as to why this fact never came up during the survey. It seems like a basic mistake to overlook. 2. It is true that I offered my help for the collections. The reason I did so was that it seemed unrealistic for them to deliver a new one to my house on the day the installation was planned. In short, I saved the installation day because it was cold and I wanted to ensure the safety of my family. Additionally, I prevented a second visit from Warmzilla, so all they should do is say thank you. 3. The multiple reports that Warmzilla refers to were based on the installer, who obviously wanted to salvage his situation after making a mistake. Consequently, he reported a faulty valve, which miraculously turned out to be intact after the second independent engineer visit. If I were to correct their statement, I would say they made multiple efforts to avoid providing assistance. Interestingly, after the second visit, Warmzilla claimed another fault, this time with my cylinder thermostat. I acknowledge this and replaced the thermostat, but as I mentioned, this too turned out to be a false diagnosis, as the I still dont have "only hot water mode" in my house. I believe it's time to close this case and part ways amicably. I hope that Warmzilla has learned something from this experience.
Terrible company, damaged my wall and refused to admit fault. Avoid at all costs
5 star service Had a great experience with Warmzilla from the start. Was kept up to date throughout by Caryl. Any questions that I had were answered swiftly and were very informative. The installation was faultless, George was fantastic, highly recommended and would 100% use him again for any future jobs. With the deal they had on i was given a free bottle of Endotherm which is a great for lowering my gas bill which is perfect in our current financial climate.
AMAZING service! So efficient and reliable! Couldn’t recommend more. Aftercare was great too, nothing was too much of an ask.
Great job WarmZilla! From start to finish fantastic all round service from this company, will be recommending them to all my friends and family…
I had a combi boiler conversion done via Warmzilla. Ordering is very simple and pricing is cheapest for a company (as opposed to using a sole trader). The response from customer services at Warmzilla is also very quick. If you have not realised, Warmzilla used independent plumbers within their 'approved network of over 400 engineers', which sounds good but I would question the approved part as my opinion reulted in being Warmzilla have no real control over them. Although I am now satisfied with the end product, I had multiple issues before, during and after the installation which resulted in Warmzilla compensating me. In fairness to Warmzilla, the majority of issues were down to the plumber (James Lewis Plumbing and Heating Services Swansea) and not them directly, the main issues being his attitude, time keeping and lack of professionalism which resulted in multiple things going wrong and I was without hot water for 3 days. In summary, there were multiple items as part of Warmzilla's FAQs which were not met and resulted in a poor experience with multiple items left for me to then deal with myself afterwards. I'll end with the simple note of the reviews left by others both good and bad are fair and true in my experience. You get what you pay for, be prepared for it not go to smoothly and deal with issues via Warmzilla's aftercare.
Top class service!!!
A good & professional service with great customer care. Would highly recommend this company.
Boiler quote, installation and done. Perfect from start to finish. Thank you.
Easy to order and installed on the date planned. Great service.
Can’t recommend Warmzilla highly enough, professional service from start to finish! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
Brilliant to work with and use. The guys there completely took the stress out of a very stressful situation for me. Can recommend then enough.
Great company, tried some but these were by far the most helpful. Engineer came clean and tidy and friendly. Definitely recommend
Feels like a dinosaur company. It recommended a gas boiler for me, without even asking if we had gas available. No recommendation for a heat pump, which we all need to be considering.
Fantastic service, highly recommend
Excellent service, polite engineer, highly recommended.
Great friendly service, sorted our issues out quickly and professionally. Do recommend
A boiler can be a big purchase, so its great when you put your trust in a company you hadn't heard of (before my boiler finally gave up) - and so glad you did. So simple and great value compared to others.
Awesome service and expertise.
Would highly recommend! Great customer service, on time, friendly and no questions unanswered.
What a easy process to order my new boiler. Only a few minutes and I had purchased, and had installation date confirmed. The engineer arrived on time, was polite, and installation was completed in no time. Fantastic service throughout, Thank you.
Very poor customer service. No phone line to speak with someone, just chat box, which never resolves the issue. I have been paying a monthly fee to cover my boiler installed by Warmzilla. Now it’s time for annual service, and despite contacting them many times (through chat), they haven’t done anything. So I am going to cancel my plan.
Great service throughout the process. Really easy to use and had support whenever we needed it. The customer service was excellent and would highly recommend Warmzilla.
Highly recommend Warmzilla! Ordered a new boiler and the process was so easy to follow. The staff were supportive all the way and we are so pleased with our new boiler.
I recently turned to Warmzilla to rescue me from a heating crisis when my old boiler gave up the ghost, and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. Their website makes the whole process incredibly easy. All I had to do was answer a few questions about my home, and they provided me with a selection of boiler options that were suitable for my needs. The guidance was user-friendly and and there was also a live chat on the site to answer a couple of extra questions I had, which I greatly appreciated. Once I made my selection, scheduling the installation was a breeze. The installer they sent was professional, polite, and punctual. They installed the new boiler quickly and with the utmost care, leaving my home with much needed heating ready for the winter months. Not only did the installation go well they also provided the service at a competitive price. I wholeheartedly recommend Warmzilla to anyone in need of a new boiler or heating system. The whole process was super easy and efficient and I'm grateful for the quick turnaround as we had no hot water or heating and have two small children in the house. Thank you!!!
First install date was changed from that booked at the time of order , second date the engineer did not turn up , third time success but the electrical supply was left run off an extension lead despite there being a connection available in the airing cupboard where the previous boiler was connected. Apparently , Warmzilla don’t do any additional electrical work ..? They’ve washed their hands of it and have no interest in offering a proper installation.
Avoid at all cost. It's a lottery as to whom you will land with as they hire contractors and do not vouch later for their work. Customer service seems helpful at first, but in the long run they will not address your complaints. It is better to research a local tradesman than end up with a cat in the bag.
Install, take money & run. 2 weeks after installation boiler starts leaking onto electrical socket under it. Neither Warmzilla nor the contractor who installed answer or reply to messages. After 2 days paid for somebody else to fix. There is no accountability with this firm as all they are is a middle man connecting you to any independent plumber who has paid to register with then. As the plumber operates under Warmzilla, not his own company, there is zero incentive to ensure a proper job has been done. They just want to make £1000 profit for 3 hrs work and vanish. Brother had similar problem with faulty installation from a Warmzilla contractor. Ended up paying more than £600 to get a well known reputable London plumbing company to address the issues.
Worst commercial experience ever. Sent 2 different installer in 2 weeks. Lost 2 days with them. They didn't take the job and left me alone in both circumstances. They don't comunicate with their sub-contractor. They are a nightmare. Stay really far form them. They have just the price right, and if you are so unlucky to book them you will easily understand why.
We got a new boiler and radiators installed. The boiler required the gas pipework to be upgraded. This required a long run of new copper piping that had to run externally from the front of the house to the back. This was included in the original quote/price. No nasty extra charges. The engineers who fitted the boiler and radiator's were excellent. They were professional and very courteous. Even when they encountered obstacles or issues, they dealt with them without any fuss or drama. I would highly recommend Warmzilla and Hannah in particular for all her help and updates throughout, from order to instalation.
I had an unpleasant experience with Warmzilla. I was impressed by their website, measured the space in my cupboard for the new boiler, researched one that fit according to the measurements given and booked an appointment - all very easy. On the day of installation I showed the fitter the cupboard where it would fit and he started removing the existing one. I told him I would be within earshot if he needed anything. When I came back an hour later he had already fit the new boiler on the wall but not in the same place as the old one, it was now sticking out at the bottom of the cupboard and he informed me he had cut the cupboard to make it fit better. I told him I was unhappy with the position of the boiler several times, especially as I had measured the space and the new boiler. He told me serval times it wasn’t possible to move it and finally told me that he was about to 'lose his rag’ (get very angry). I said I was unhappy but signed the completion form as I felt intimidated by a stranger getting angry at me in my own home. I immediately complained to Warmzilla and they blamed me for not telling them I had unique requirements - except I didn’t… I had followed their exact measurement guidelines and the boiler was to be fitted in the same cupboard for which there was plenty of space. I felt their tone was unsympathetic and, from my point of view, they seemed to be blaming me for the error. When it became clear there was no option apart from paying for a new boiler installation, I accepted a £68 credit to pay for a cover for the part of the boiler that was now sticking out of the cupboard. From the start of my complaint, Warmzilla seemed aggressive to me, and the installer left me feeling somewhat intimidated. After posting this review, Warmzilla contacted me within less than an hour requesting me to remove the review, saying it was "criminally suggestive". I consulted with a solicitor, who said this is nonsense so it was yet another example of Warmzilla making me feel intimidated. They also said the position of the boiler was now due to the window frame, which was completely new information that no-one had raised previously, not even the installer. I also asked them to point out where my review was criminally suggestive, defamatory or incorrect so I could amend it, and they did not respond. I was going to amend my original 1* review to 2* because they did offer me some form of compensation, although I only accepted the statements of satisfaction because I saw no other possible resolution to this issue apart from the boiler being removed. However, after the overnight email exchange, it felt like they were bullying me to change it so I’ve reverted to 1*. My specific feedback to Warmzilla would be as follows: - Please specify the additional boiler measurements on your website. If you ask customers to check the boiler dimensions against their space, then it should fit - Instruct your installers to consult on boiler placement before they proceed with installation - Don't accuse your customers of giving you misleading information, especially if it is not true In conclusion, I would highly recommend you NOT use Warmzilla.
Had my EV charger installed by WarmZilla. Excellent service! The guys who installed it were great. They explained everything in depth and helped us set it up on the app too. They'd gone above and beyond. I recommend this company.
Excellent experience, website easy to navigate, the engineers were fantastic and tidy and respectful of my property. Price was very competitive and hard to beat, my home is toasty thanks to their prompt service. Thank you WarmZilla!
Trashed our house. Used our bluetooth speaker without our permission. Damaged our carpet. Left the central heating partially working and blamed it on us. Took over 3 months for them to call a compentant engineer to fix the central heating. Warmzilla should be called Coldzilla, as they left us freezing! We got there in the end, as we refused to pay until it was rectified. The 'operations manager', 'Rhys' eventually, after contstant poking and reminding called the engineer to fix the heating. Either way, we would most certainly not reccomend using Warmzilla under any circumstances. They're cheaper than others, for a reason! They have a phone number which will NEVER put you through to a human. How frustrating! The next company is only £100 more, we wish you used them instead!
I would give a 0 rating to this unresponsive and illegal company. I generally don’t give reviews but I now want to keep others safe and not waste time/money. The company uses 3rd party installers to provide the installation within your area. After research, I took the step of installation of boiler using them. I got assigned the installer(Ian from IMA heating solutions ltd.) and he came a bit delayed with couple of parts missing. He came late and then went out for couple of hours in between the job to get them. Towards the end he did not get time to finish and left the place shabby and did not fix the central heating issue. I have been following up with this company for over a month, initially they mentioned they will send out an engineer at the earliest to fix it and I believed them and now after a month they changed the story and started saying that the fault is pre-existing. Complete waste of time and money. I would go with reliant companies, I just saved £150 from other mainstream companies but the time and money to follow them on these issues would surpass the savings.
We had our boiler replaced in January 2021. The plumber took quite a while sorting out the replacement and originally said that they may have to take up our kitchen floor to get to all the things he needed! Thankfully he realised this wasn't needed in the end. After he left, our boiler was experiencing issues and was displaying an error code (F.83 Fault. NTC temp gradient). After contacting WarmZilla, they said to keep trying to reset the boiler but this still didn't fix it. After a bit of chasing, they sent an electrician round who said that the previous person who had fitted the boiler hadn't done a very good job of the electrics unfortunately, but after this person carried out some fixes, all was well again. In January 2022, we arranged for a boiler service and booked for a specific date and time, but the person didn't turn up! I got in touch with customer services who arranged for a different person to come later on that week. Overall, they have good prices and their customer services were fairly prompt to reply, but given that they use various tradesmen around the country, I think it can be difficult to know the quality of the person you are going to get, so can be a bit hit and miss.
Zero stars Boiler broke down on Saturday (03.12), ordered new boiler on Sunday (04.12) with ease. Boiler installation was due to take place on Thursday (08.12) 8:00am, we received a text message from the sub-contracting gas engineer at 9pm on the Wed (07.12) night to advise us that our boiler hadn’t turned up at the merchants (Wolseley – a national merchant, showing multiple boilers in stock on their website) could he delay install till the Sat (10.12). We advised him no (via telephone) as we had a young son in the house, we were happy to accept another boiler type. The engineer proceeded to advise us it was not up to him and we would need to contact Warmzilla, when asking him for a telephone number, he can’t give it out as it’s a personal number (if only they would answer their business number we thought)!! You can’t actually contact Warmzilla by phone, they do have a phone number on their website but when you call it you cant get through (we tried numerous times), you can chat with them via their website and they advise you this is the best way to communicate with them and not to worry about anything, they are there to help. The company did phone us a couple of times on Thu (08.12) to say they were trying to sort things out for me and hold on, they then emailed late on the Thu approx. 5pm (after us chasing them via the website chat function) to advise they can’t install the boiler at any time, they have tried everything and they can’t install a boiler (yes that’s right a boiler installation company is unable to install boilers), when asked for a reason, we weren't given one. We advised them of our unhappiness at this situation and we would be complaining, we were then advised (via the computer chat function) that we need to be careful what we say as they may pass on my disappointment to their legal team. What a strange thing to say we thought, it did make us wonder if there is a lot of other disappointed customers out there. We would like to advise others to think twice before using this company as we have had an awful experience with them.
Very impressed .....boiler was fitted 2 weeks ago and is excellent as was the fitting by Ian Bevan and Brad...very clean and tidy work, very easy to get along with and very experienced ......I must say that Warmzilla is a Company I would recommend. .
Ordered our new Veissmann boiler from Warmzilla, all installed no problem but on commissioning the boiler wouldn’t start, Rhys went above and beyond to get us back up and running, picked up another new boiler and installed with no problems this time, highly recommend warmzilla. Even issued me with a refund for the inconvenience.
Fitted a boiler in my rented house the engineers where excellent
We needed a new boiler recently and came across Warmzilla on a Google Search. It’s a whole new concept to the typical method of buying a boiler but I must say I was impressed at how easy it was and I managed to navigate the website easily. On the day of our installation our engineer (Ben) arrived on time, was very friendly and carried out the boiler replacement to a brilliant standard. It’s a 10/10 from us and we have already recommended Warmzilla to friends and family.
I would have initially recommended 10/10.. however the technician ‘capped off’ my gas fire at my request.. easier for him to do as it was a gas item that didn’t need checking/passing off. Great.. until it was picked up that it was leaking gas at a serious rate. Unfortunately my front room is now back to brick as this gas leak was underneath fresh plasterboard and new skim of plaster!!!! It’s lucky I didn’t blow up whilst sat in front of it whilst sitting on my sofa!!!!!!
My New Boiler is now installed. Special thanks to Caryl from your Customer Service Team and Scott the engineer for a fantastic experience. Happy Customer for sure.
Ordered the boiler after taking numerous pictures, total cost £1800. We live in a second floor flat and made warmzilla aware of the access problems to fit the flue. Engineer came 3 days later and called me whilst I was at work, my wife was at home and has no idea about boilers, he informed that he couldn’t fit the boiler because he couldn’t access the flu from the exterior of the property and it wouldn’t be safe to use. I knew this not to be the case as I work with very experienced gas engineers on a daily basis. I had to tell the engineer about a product called a flu snug which can be fitted from the inside of the property and doesn’t require access externally. He seemed puzzled by this but agreed to fit a flu snug. One week later water leaking all over the worktop and F1 fault on boiler ( low pressure ) engineer unavailable to fix this issue and we’re left with a leaky boiler and no hot water. From my experience Warmzilla use very inexperienced engineers who lack the knowledge and skill to carry out an installation. I shouldn’t have to tell an engineer how he can fit the flu to our property. Disappointed all round and we now have to seek help from elsewhere and I’m sure we’ll have to pay this bill. Boiler fitted 08 February 2022. After comparing quotes from various companies I chose Warmzilla as they had the best price and were available to fit the new boiler quickly - previous one had been condemned and we'd been without heating or hot water for 10 days whilst we sourced funds. After booking and paying I received a call that an engineer could come two days earlier than requested. I was told the engineer would arrive around 0900. Waited til just after 12 before he showed up. Engineer pleasant enough, worked quickly although seemed to get frustrated at times - swearing and muttering to himself. Finally finished and left around 6pm so I was able to access my kitchen for the first time that day. Woke up the next morning to find water all over my kitchen counter. The new plastic pipe that engineer had installed from bottom of boiler through the wall to the flue was dripping. I contacted Ben at warmzilla straight away by email who assured me someone would come to fix the leak. Not too much to ask surely, after spending 2k on a brand new boiler! As I work full time I requested an appointment on days that I could be available. I waited and waited .... nothing. So I emailed again a week later, again promised they'd get back to me with an appointment date. I have tried numerous times since to get this resolved, each time promised a solution then nothing. 6 months later still waiting, we now use a glass under the pipe to catch the water which gets emptied daily.
Working with Warmzilla is a bit of a mixed bag. The boiler I purchased was a Worcester Bosch boiler and the installation was prompt. Unfortunately the installer was not the best they could send. He kept moaning about everything. When the hole for the flue was too small and he needed to do extra work to expand it, he moaned. He had a go at me for the cupboard that housed the boiler was not in the right place for the new boiler. I sent Warmzilla pictures, and purchased a boiler designed to fit in a cupboard. How was I meant to know that the flue position on my new boiler would mean it was a very tight squeeze to the cupboard. Then the wiring of the boiler completely baffled him. The boiler I have is a classic heat only boiler, as my house infrastructure is not designed for a combi boiler and I was not about to change it now. He did not have a clue how to wire it, so he had to call a friend who knew more about these models. I am sure when warmzilla instructed him on the installation they mentioned that it was a heat only boiler. If he didnt know how to wire it he should have refused the job. Less than a month after the job I started noticing the pressure in the system completely dropped. It seems that one of the connectors which he interacted with has now started leaking. He keeps telling me that as it was there before his job started it could not have been him who broke it, so he would not replace it. I have already contacted my normal plumber who will replace it for a reasonable fee and without the moaning. Unfortunately the worst thing I find about warmzilla is the fact that you can not actually call them for support. There is a phone number published on the website but no matter what menu selections you press you will NEVER be directed to a real person. The online chat is not online during the whole day and the emails do not get answered promptly.
Ordered new boiler 31/1 took photos of old boiler etc, installation booked for 2/2.. heating engineer came at 8.30 and boiler was fitted in the day. There was a problem fitting the thermostat, the company rang the next day and another engineer came to fit thermostat. I was a bit nervous about ordering online but I didn't need to worry everything was completed as promised. Thank you Warmzilla and GEM contractors..
First time changing and buying a new boiler. Warmzilla couldn't have made it easier. Choose your boiler, take some pictures of what's there now and they'll do the rest. Everything done in a matter of days. Super friendly customer service, local plumber who fitted it was great. Everything was tidied up after. Would 100% recommend!!
Really easy to deal with, proactive managing arrangements, engineer got in touch before the day asking for photos so ready to go. The engineer himself - Mark - was incredibly professional and friendly… and the boiler was fitted perfectly. Thank you for overall excellent service! Would highly recommend.
Thanks to East Lancs local engineer Lee Norris who was a pleasure to meet and did an excellent job on our boiler replacement. We had a very good experience with WarmZilla. Website was good, easy to pick boiler and attachments, and even got an extra discount for using our existing thermostat. Picking installation date was also easy, lots of choice within days. Minor downsides were uploading pictures wasn’t very clear. Also not much communication until the night before about the job. Installaion itself was faultless by Lee. Would definitely recommened WarmZilla.
Our old boiler died on Monday AM, I ordered a new boiler on Monday PM with Warmzilla, it was the £1,599 for a Worcester 2000 fitted and old boiler removed, plus all extras included in the £1,599, they sent Kieron from K South Plumbing in Plymouth, Kieron was very clever, polite and clean in his work, and the new boiler was up and running in 5 hours on the Wednesday, 2 days after I ordered it all. Very impressive website/process, thanks to Warmzilla and Kieron.
Excellent service almost all the way through. I had my 35 year old standard boiler replaced for a combi boiler, and location changed from kitchen (downstairs) to airing cupboard (upstairs). Warmzilla's customer service all the way through was more than excellent. All the staff were friendly, personable, organised, flexible, supportive and with excellent communication. The phone line was always picked up, and they always communicated back when they said they would. A big shout out to Mathew especially, for an incredible service. Best quote received. I must admit that I was initially reluctant to use them, as they don't have their in-house engineers (instead use local approved engineers), but I have no regrets whatsoever now that its done. The added bonus is that: - they offered 0% finance, which I duly took up. It was a very smooth and quick finance application. - they have 1 in every 100 draw to have your boiler refunded in full. Even though I didn't win, it was exciting to know that I had a 1 in 100 chance. The engineer was good, personable, turned up on time and cleaned up after himself. The job was overall good, but with a couple of small hiccups which were sorted very quickly on the day when I raised them. I would highly recommend Warmzilla.
I would easily recommend Warmzilla, from their very easy to use website, excellent pricing, right through to Installation. I was a little sceptical as its a big purchase online for an important part of the house. I have no regrets. Plus you get a 1% chance of a free installation...👌👌
I had been looking for a boiler for about a week and it was all a mess. Mine was completely broken, in Jan, so I was pretty desperate. I had some local guys turn up and quote me crazy prices which was a shame. I then had a google and I won't lie, I was a bit worried given that there were only a few reviews, but actually my experience was great! Really quick to come and install, good prices (especially compared to the other companies) and it was all done in a day. Highly recommend!
Bit of a read but worth it... So I was a bit uncertain prior to the install as I read the bad reviews more than the good... Anyway, I read all small print and wanted to be certain that it included for everything (as I didn't want any hidden costs)..... they were the most competitive price wise (Even with added TRV's and the most up to date thermostat): they beat all other quotes. I would say that there website could be a little clearer when it came to confirming the order and also uploading the photos, as once uploaded you can't see them anymore.... and they don't actively tell you that they are happy with the photos and confirmation that no further information is required from you. Leaving you feeling a bit blind despite a customer service call prior to install. I booked it for 2 weeks in advance. I made sure I was there on the day and walked through the various pieces of the puzzle with them. They use regional installers so this may become subjective to the area you live, it has to be said our installer Ashley was EXCELLENT. We were going from a standard to a combi and on arrival made us aware it was most likely a 2 day install (Water put back on for overnight). But obviously can be different based on your property and requirements. 22mm pipe upgrade was DONE...bricking up the old flue to suit the new DONE. Everything stripped out of the loft and airing cupboard DONE. Sheets down to protect the carpets DONE. Took the rubbish with them and considerate of our young children as well ......Fantastic. It wasn't an easy install and he worked hard to get it complete in the 2 days. There were no added costs and everything is working as it should and the shower is now epic.....Thank you
Don't usually do reviews, however i found the whole experience with warmzilla very good. Could not be beaten on price and it must be said there is no compromise on customer service. Initial Queries dealt with very well and the engineers did a really good job installing our new boiler. Not had the boiler long but so far so good!
Did not show up on the date & time which was arranged for the boiler installation.
Absolutely brilliant, £1000 cheaper than most quotes I had for a combination boiler, great service from start to finish, the guys who fitted it were polite, efficient and very tidy and from purchase to installation, 48 hours!! Just hope I win the free boiler competition too 😁
Incredible service, fast and reliable. Couldn’t be happier with my new boiler. 5stars
I had my Worcester boiler fitted on the 08.12.2019 and was very pleased with it overall. Unfortunately, the low score is due to outstanding work and some additional issues: At present the condenser pipework leading from the new boiler is dripping into a bucket that needs to be emptied regularly. I'm waiting for the pipework installation to be completed so that it leads to the drain outside. Incidentally, I hadn't been made aware that obtrusive white pipework would have to stick out of my property ahead of work commencing, despite providing all the necessary photographs. A low frequency, pulsating humming sound began after having the boiler fitted and this needs to be investigated. There is also an intermittent clicking and rattles affecting my radiators, which began after the radiators were bled; this wakes me up during the night (despite switching the heating off using the Salus internet thermostat provided with the boiler)! I chased up completion of works on the 13.01.2020 and no date has been forthcoming. Addendum 03.03.2020: Although I am grateful for the owner's comments and apology received today, the 03.03.2020, I am not entirely in agreement with the overall content as there are outstanding issues, which I personally conveyed to the Ops Manager only yesterday. I had the boiler installed on the 08.12.2019 and reported issues directly to the company. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any helpful response until after I'd posted my original review on the 24.01.2020. An engineer came yesterday, the 02.03.2020, to sort out the issue with the temporary condensate (as still dripping into a bucket). I didn't really appreciate being advised by the Ops Director to amend my review and him telling me "Most companies, and I say this through experience, having been a gas engineer for the passed[sic] 7 years, would not have returned nor even replied."
Well what can I say . Had a boiler fitted today and cannot praise warmzilla enough!! Not the easiest job to do but the the 3 guys who came to do the job made it look effortless. They were polite and courteous and left the house absolutely spotless absolutely loving the top quality boiler and workmanship. Would definitely recommend them to anyone one happy customer :)
Wow!! Everyone I spoke to on the phone and via email was so friendly and helpful. The guys that came to fit the boiler arrived bang on time and refused to come in until they had put covered on their shoes. They then laid dust sheets as they went so not to leave any mess. Once they got started they wasted no time and worked really hard to get the job done. This brings me on to the quality of work. WOW!!! The pipe work is that good it should be in a art gallery. Everything neat and tidy. Before they left they showed me how everything works and made sure the only trace of them even being in the house was the new boiler. I think they even left the house cleaner than when they arrived Top quality job that I can only give them 5 stars for as there was nothing to fault them on. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new boiler.
I was a bit unsure about buying a new boiler online, it's the first one I've ever bought and I don't know anything about boilers but I answered a few questions on the WarmZilla website and they recommended the perfect boiler for my house. I was surprised how easy it was to buy a boiler and book the installation date all in one go, from going online I had it booked to be installed two days later! The guys that came to fit it turned up on time and were very clean and tidy. I got a ten year guarantee on my Worcester boiler (apparently the best on the market) and a free smart thermostat. Really happy I went with these guys and I would recommend them to anyone.
