Gareth from Cardiff Electrical Home Rewire recently completed a full rewire of our house and we couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, Gareth was fantastic. His communication was excellent throughout the whole job, keeping us informed and answering any questions we had. He was incredibly clean and tidy while working, and made a real effort to avoid unnecessary damage by not chasing through walls unless it was absolutely needed. His quote was clear and transparent from the beginning, with no surprises along the way. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble for Gareth – he genuinely went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to a high standard and that we were happy with the result. We’re really grateful for the care and effort he put into the job and our home! We would 100% recommend Gareth to anyone looking for electrical work. Thanks again! Chris and Amy

Recently had a full rewire. Gareth and his team were professional from start to finish and kept you up to date at every opportunity. They tidied up at any given time, along with wearing coverings for their footwear, so much respect for your home. Added pressure due to 4 adults, one 3 year old & 2 dogs were still living in the house, along with myself working from home but he worked around this and made sure we still had access to some electric. If you're looking for any electrical work then Gareth won't disappoint. Thank you again Gareth and team, you were brilliant.

We required electrics (plug sockets, lights, infrared heater, Ethernet) installing in our shed to office conversion, as well as installation of mains fire alarms and an EICR of the property. Cardiff Electrical professionally completed the works to a high standard, and gave us confidence that our property’s electrics are now safely wired.

Gareth did an amazing job at Little Cherubs Nursery doing some electrical work for us. We were really happy and would highly recommend his services

Gareth came to install new lights in our house about few weeks ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. He was professional, respectful, and very easy to talk to. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the job was done perfectly. What really stood out was how clean and tidy he left everything afterward. It’s such a relief to have someone who’s not only skilled but also takes pride in their work and respects your space. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and approachable electrician. Thanks Gareth Regarding Happi/ Josh

Gareth did a full rewire on my home in 2021 and did an amazing job at the time, this was when he was under another business Gas Sparks, but has now become this new business, so I highly recommend, you will pay a bit more compared to smaller electrician businesses but you get your moneys worth.

Gareth from Cardiff Home Electrical Rewire did a brilliant job for us a few weeks ago. We needed electrics going to our shed at the bottom of the garden with several outdoor sockets along the way. Gareth called out this morning to do some electrical work for us and was fantastic. Customer service was superb, so friendly and professional. We couldn't be happier with the work he did for us and wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending him and using him again.

Great service as always! 10/10

Quick to respond to initial job posting. When Gareth came round to provide a quote, I was sure that I’d found the right person for the job. Confident and able to articulate exactly how they’d conduct the work. Quote was provided the same day and accepted. Turned up promptly on the agreed date and worked within the time bounds provided. Very tidy throughout and made a concerted effort to treat the house well, which put me at ease. Went the extra mile by coming back out to do a couple of touch ups on extra things I’d not initially asked for - overall a great experience and will be getting Gareth back round soon for more jobs!

Gareth did a great job at a fair price on retro fitting the extractor fan in our utility room. Neat work and great service.

Gareth helped me out at very short notice. Total lifesaver ! Very professional service, good value for money , kind and caring to me in what was a quite stressful situation. Cannot thank Gareth enough. Will always use him now.

The guys did a great job installing an isolation switch for an electric cooker. They were able to fit us in quickly and the price was very reasonable. They were really respectful of the property and the job was completed quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work completed.

Just bought an old house.. needed lots of new sockets .. moving light switch, extractor fan and downlighting in Kitchen and bathroom.. professional and thorough would highly recommend.. safe hands 😊

Extremely professional, great communication, would definitely use again.

I honestly could not recommend these lads enough. I bought a flat which called for a complete refurbishment. It needed a complete rewire - most of the electrics were the original from the 60s, and the rest was some kind of cheap patch up done by some previous owner. The surveyor somehow did not pick this up, so you can imagine the nasty surprise - and sudden stress - I had upon moving in. At first I didn’t know what to expect, as this was my very first time renovating a property. I had the whole shebang of contractors coming in - a plumber, a plasterer, a decorator, a kitchen fitter and all that jazz. One was utterly awful. Some were alright. A few were decent. And then there was the lads. In a world full of messy contractors - the ones who make it sounds like they are doing you a favour by taking up the job, charging fees higher than a neurosurgeon would, treating your property like some kind of slum - Gareth and Will are like GOLD DUST. They were at my flat for over a week, and every single day they were polite and respectful, mindful of the fact that I was working from home. They did room by room, cleaning after themselves as they went - hoovering, sweeping. You name it. They took the time to explain everything that needed to be done, and why. Every time they had a question - be it the positioning of a light switch, or of the radiator - they just asked, without assuming. They even ended up doing bits which were not even theirs to do, like a bit of carpentry. Just for the sake of helping out. It really made me feel they care about the happiness of their customers which is, sadly, not always the case. So there you go. I feel extremely lucky to have found them. A full electrical rewire is not something which typically falls in the category of repeat business, but the day I will need an electrician again, I know whom to call. And if reviews matter nowadays - and I think they do - you should too. Look no further and give them a call. Thank you lads! Dx
