We had solar panels and a battery installed by ECOCETERA and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. They originally came out and quoted for us, and although it was almost a year later before we decided to go ahead, the communication throughout was absolutely fantastic. Any query or question we had was responded to very quickly, both before and after installation. The installation itself was carried out during extremely hot weather, but the team still turned up, worked incredibly hard, and remained professional throughout. They were courteous, respectful of our property, and did a fantastic job. They started on time, finished on time, and cleaned up so well you’d never have known they’d been here. After the system was installed, we had a couple of questions, and phoning up was never an issue — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Our questions were answered promptly, help was always given, and they even carried out site visits to make sure we were completely happy with the system. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. A fantastic local firm: incredibly professional, competitive on price, and delivering a brilliant service from start to finish.
Ecocetera did an outstanding job from the initial on site meeting through to completion. They took the time to understand my requirements and provided advice on a range of products that would meet my needs. They organised everything perfectly, starting work when they said they would and completing everything in just a couple of days with all work undertaken to a very high standard. Following the installation they checked all was working as it should and took the time to help register the system and set up the on line monitoring app. Ecocetra were very competitively priced and provided excellent value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
You have probably found this review because, like me, you check every review before committing a significant sum to a high-tech project that could go well or badly. I had also had a personal recommendation for Ecocetera, so I commissioned them, rather than others, to add a battery and gateway to an existing solar panel installation. They were utterly professional throughout the entire job, and unfailingly polite and helpful with my many questions; and this has continued even after the invoice was paid! I unhesitatingly recommend Conrad, Jeannie and their team.
From the initial inquiry to the installation everything went very smoothly. The site team were very professional and the installation was very neat and tidy. Ecocetera are an outstanding company - they have previously installed panels and battery for us, and recently added a second battery. From initial consultation to switch-on, they were completely professional, and happy to explain every detail, without any pressure. We were given updates on progress of the order, when scaffolding would arrive, etc. The installation itself was a masterclass in efficiency and precision. The team was punctual and worked with impressive speed and care, minimising disruption and - importantly - making sure we were happy with things like cable routes before they started drilling holes. What sets them apart in my view is their attention to detail; the wiring is neat and tidy, and the entire setup looks clean and professional. Even after the job was done, they checked on performance and were happy to answer additional questions. We recommend Ecocetera without any hesitation.

We chose Ecocetera as they are local to us and are able to provide European brands of solar panels (Eurener) and Givenergy's newest 10kW high voltage inverter with the 20.4kWh battery stack. The actual installation was fast, and the installation quality is high with attention to detail. Would use their services again and refer them to friends for solar PV systems.
Ecocetera have just completed a solar PV installation for us in Thornbury. They did a great job, arrived and completed as planned. They adjusted their installation schedule to fit around another contractor who was providing scaffolding. A great service.
We chose Ecocetera because they are a local, family-run company that we had heard good things about and we were not disappointed. From the beginning of the quoting process we felt listened to and included in decisions around the size of the system and how we wanted it to work for us. Upon accepting the quote, the work was carried out promptly, as discussed, with the scaffolding appearing on the day promised and being taken away just over a week after completion of the job. Each of the workers involved took the time to introduce themselves and all were respectful of our property and how they stored tools and materials on the overnight periods between work. They turned up at the agreed time and always made sure to leave work areas clean and tidy after use. When it was necessary to switch off the power, we had advance warning and it was only for a brief period of time so it didn’t disrupt any working from home days. Communication was via email and all queries were promptly resolved, usually on the same day. Even when we decided to add an extra solar panel in mid-job, this was easily accommodated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ecocetera to anyone looking for a good quality solar system for their property.
Ecocetera installed a 5.66kW solar PV array in February 2024. Everything went smoothly, the installers were friendly and efficient, and the finished product neat and tidy. I was so impressed I asked them to install a 10kW SolarEdge battery in May! I have been almost completely self-sufficient ever since, and would not hesitate to recommend Ecocetera to any prospective customer
Excellent !! Just had my solar and battery installation completed by Ecocetera Ltd and could not recommend them highly enough. Conrad & the team (James, Will, Dave & Tom) doing the installation take real pride in the work they do everything installed is very neat and tidy and they leave the place spotless. I had an awkward roof which faced different directions but Conrad & Jeannie came up with a suitable design to make the most of the space available and gave options for different battery storage to various budgets so it was great to have a choice. Conrad uses ASM scaffolding, they were also excellent, my scaffolding has been down for ages and my neighbour (who used someone else) still has their scaffolding up even though his went up before mine. Once again thanks Conrad, Jeannie and team for an excellent job.

After extensive research, we chose Ecocetera to carry out our solar PV installation and we are very glad that we did. Every aspect from the information and administration to the installation itself was carried out with total professionalism and efficiency by the very friendly, helpful and polite team of Jeannie, Conrad, Jack, Dave and James. Dave, the electrician even insisted on washing our hall floor! They happily put up with and indeed took on board my nerdy optimum astronomical average sun angle inputs etc. Even the scaffolding aspect of the job was expertly taken care of. Everything was done on schedule (ahead of schedule actually, we were offered an earlier cancellation slot). We were completely satisfied. The price was also extremely competitive. Follow up advice and information has also been readily provided when asked for. A rare (these days) example of all round excellence, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We asked our new-build developer to recommend a company to install solar panels and they recommended Ecocetera, and a friend recommended them too after a recent install. Ecocetera did a great job. They were helpful exploring the different options to work out the best solution, the team were always prompt and professional for the survey and the install. The installation went really well and would recommend Ecocetera to others in the area.
I got quotes from FIVE solar installers in total, nobody really seemed to get what I wanted until I found Conrad and Jeannie at Ecocetera. Unlike others, his quote and survey of the house and checks for suitability were significantly more in depth and reassuring than any other company. This meant visiting the house, examining the roof, the loft, the electrics and working out exactly how it would be fitted. No other installer did this. In fact, no other solar company even took the time to understand what I wanted, which was basically as much solar as you could possibly squeeze on the roof! I felt he knew everything there was to know about solar and we discussed it at length until I was completely satisfied with exactly what was going to be done and exactly how it would be installed. A huge amount of discussion also took place with Jeannie via e-mail who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and patiently answered all kinds of things I wanted to know, clarified details, discussed the quote, and there was never anything she didn't know the answer to or didn't immediately contact someone to find out. The price was very reasonable considering the huge size of the install for a domestic house. Everything went very smoothly and it was clear that Ecocetera are one of those companies that do everything by-the-book correct. The wiring, the installation, the electricians, everything was done properly and in compliance. I put this specifically because I've had a bit of a headache recently with various tradesfolk doing a less than stellar job, but in this instance, it was completely flawless. All of installers were professional and polite. It has been a couple of months since it was set up and it is generating an absolute boatload of energy. I am well chuffed. I'm glad I got it done just after moving into my new house, because usually I'm someone that would think about it for years then kick myself for not doing it earlier. If you include these folk when you're gathering quotes I can't possibly imagine for even a second you wouldn't go with them.

Brilliant team. Fantastic attention to detail, neat, tidy, knowledgable, reliable. Well spoken and polite not rough/crude tradesmen. First class workmanship on the panel install and electrical work. Fantastic office staff too, who sort out all the planning details and interface with the DNO. Install was 16 panel Solar PV and internally to the house a Tesla Powerwall (battery) and Gateway plus iBoost water heating. Also installed the cabling for a future EV charger and integrated into the PV/battery system. 5 stars well earned.

We had a 4.2kWh system installed in late June 2019 and it's been faultless - a rapid survey and quote followed by a quick installation. The Solar Edge app means we can monitor our production (we decided not to bother with a full monitor to see what goes back to the grid as we're not expecting there to be much). Excellent service and a great product - would gladly recommend Ecocetera.

During discussions on the intended system the Company representative was concise and to the point on what the system could and couldn't do. We received a comprehensive quote on the planned system which contained no hidden costs. The installation itself required no access to the internal roof space, took less than a day and was operational before the installation team left. The team was polite, friendly, considerate and thoroughly professional. The Company then assisted us to get through the process of applying for the feed-in tariff, and has since answered a couple of questions promptly. We are very satisfied with the service we have received and can recommend the Company without reservation.

I had a 4kW PV System installed by Ecocetera in September. The Installation went very well and all work was very competently and neatly done. The Panels look great and are performing as expected. Conrad and Greg certainly went beyond the call of duty, not only did a first class Job installing the Panels and Inverter, but also repaired some things in the House! Jeannie was also very helpful with all my queries and was always prompt in getting back to me. I really felt that Ecocetera had my best interests at heart at all times It was a pleasure to deal with this Company and I have no hesitation in recommending Ecocetera as an extremely competent, professional Company.

The folk at Ecocetera clearly know what they are talking about, and are passionate about it too. I always found them to be professional, straightforward and honest, with no trace whatsoever of any “hard-sell” during any of our pre-sale discussions. They responded promptly and accurately to my queries, and had seemingly endless patience as they spent time exploring all possible options, with nary a grumble as I constantly came up with new or modified ideas. The installation proceeded according to plan, i.e. started when they said they would, finished within the timescales they said, and done to a very high standard of workmanship. I’ve now had my installation for just over a year, with no problems encountered - it’s even generated 6% more electricity than forecast! To top it all off, the price was competitive. All in all I’m very pleased with the service Ecocetera provided and would happily recommend them to anyone.
