Direct electrical installed an EV charger for me, the effort from Dino to understand current status of V2x chargers so the right equipment was in place was exceptional, and helped me save £500 by letting me know about relevant government grants. Kyle and Dale performed a tidy and professional install once all these details were worked out and only left once all relevant apps were connected and successfully charging with their test equipment. I wouldn't hesitant to recommend them.

We contracted with Direct Electrical in June 2026 to install a home EV Charger and also attend to a fan issue in the bathroom. From the outset we were very impressed with the service. We were given a full itemised quote with pictures of the installation and Dino, the manager, was very helpful in making sure the work met our needs. On the day, Findley turned up on time and proceeded to do a first class job, clearly explaining the work he would be doing, and working with us to ensure we received exactly what we required. On a blazing hot day he made a very tidy installation of the EV charger, and then did some sterling work in the heat of the attic installing the bathroom fan, before leaving the job clean and tidy. Overall we have been very impressed with the professionalism of this company and would recommend them wholeheatedly. Thanks DE

Kyle & Dale installed our new charger. Workmanship, finish and clearing up excellent. There were a couple of technical issues out of their hands. They persued these rigirously with the manufacturers tech dept to find the solution with the patience of saints. Would highly recommend.

Used Direct Electrical today to have a EV home charger installed. They probably weren't the cheapest certainly weren't the most expensive but what I got for my money today was reliability they were there when they said they would be but also we got a very nice young man by the name of Kyle. He is a very polite man his work was without question some of the best I've seen his attention to detail was without question he even wiped down the external cable that he installed to remove the brick dust he explained to us what he was doing and talked us through the charger app I have total confidence in his work. So again not the cheapest but we got Kyle worth paying that little bit more many thanks Kyle. Thanks David

Finlay installed my power charger and did great job.

The whole team went above and beyond. Despite needing over 50 meters of cable pulled underground as well as dealing with an old house at the other end, it was all made to look frustratingly easy. The team in charge of the booking process were a pleasure to deal with also. I couldn't recommend Grant, Carl and Jay highly enough.

I highly recommend these guys. I have had plenty of jobs done including - new sockets installed throughout, outside cameras, spotlights, outside sockets, a piv loft unit and a new tv aerial. They’re all super friendly, professional and good with dogs.

The guys at Direct Electrical recently done some work in my workplace and were very brilliant from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

This is a review for work Direct Electrical did for me in February 2022 Adam came out to install a new main fuseboard and shower circuit / shower and did a great job. He arrived promptly, explained what he was doing and left everything tidy once the work was complete. Everything has been fine since then. The company in general were fast responding and able to answer questions I had in advance of the work. I am happy to recommend Direct Electrical.

Our first experience of Direct Electrical and we found them first class. There was a vast array of companies on the internet to install an EV charger; this was pot luck. Dino (sales) was polite, punctual and not too ‘salesy’; he helped us understand all the options and was transparent on the relative costs/benefits. Adam (the electrician who fitted it) was also polite & punctual and couldn’t have been more helpful. I guess if we’d have shopped around hard, we might have shaved a bit off the price but you get what you pay for and we’re very happy customers.

Just had four storage removed and replaced with other heaters plus new bathroom light. The electrician who carried out this work was very pleasant and the work carried out very efficiently and place left clean. I was very pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone else.

I had a post-installation issue - which turned out to be an issue with the way the software app works for my charger (Pod Point) - and even though it was nothing to do with their installation, and also I contacted them late on a Friday afternoon, their response was quick and solved the problem for me. Good to see a business going that extra mile on customer service!
