Westwood Electrical Contracting

Excellent service. 1st time using Westwood Electrical, needed Fire Alarms and some light fittings replacing. Nathan quoted quickly and kept us informed. The electrician that came out was very competent and friendly. Reliable and helpful company.

We had an issue with our ground floor sockets continually tripping out. I rang Westwood after viewing previous good reviews. Nathan advised me of the call out charge ,which I agreed, and he was at our property within half an hour. He quickly and professionally identified the problem and resolved the issue all within 40 minutes after his arrival. We were really impressed by his skills, politeness and ability. I would highly recommend this firm and would certainly use them again if we needed any electrical work done. A credit to the industry, thanks very much!

Brilliant company will be using again !! Lads who came were brillaint , got the job dont quickly and efficiantly , very well mannered and polite , on time 1st time using this company after a few recommendations and glad we went with them deffo recommend

Two young men turned up to do some electrical work today they were both polite, hard working with no extended breaks!! Left the area clean and tidy as well. Was quite impressed. Thanks lads!!!

Absolutely fabulous! Great team, excellent service and workmanship. Helpful, friendly and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Westwood Electrical was great, I had to do a whole house rewiring, install new PIR lights and CCTVs. I was very specific with my requirements and although some of my requests were uncommon but they were happy to ensure everything was done to my specification. They never failed to turn up and always come with a good attitude and happy to explain everything. Westwood Electrical is the only electrician I would use in the future.

Second time using Westwood Electrical and very happy with the job done both times. Most recently I had an issue with the fuse box repeatedly tripping. I spoke to Westwood first thing in the morning and they arrived shortly afterwards. They quickly identified the faulty RCD, replaced it and had everything sorted in no time for the price quoted over the phone. Friendly, reliable service and I'd definitely use them again in the future.

Thank you so much for coming to my aid today, excellent service from true professionals. Highly recommend .

Fitted our home charger. Did a great job really tidy and took everything with them. Would definitely recommend

We had to call Westwood electrical contracting as an emergency call out due to a burning smell in the meter cupboard. Will and Ryan attended within an hour of us calling, they were very polite and super efficient. We would not hesitate to use this company again and cannot thank them enough for the help and support. Will and Ryan were outstanding and helpful.

We used Westwood Electrical Blackpool to complete a large list of various indoor and outdoor jobs at our home. We were incredibly impressed with the whole process of visiting to price, a fair price for the works, attending exactly when they said they would, carrying out the works professionally, efficiently, with great consideration. They were also exceptionally tidy. Aaron who 1st visited and priced was communicative and receptive and helpful with ideas and the 2 young men who completed all the work (Will and Danny) worked so hard all day. They were so friendly, professional and very neat and tidy. It’s a long time since I have felt so impressed with a company. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending

nice people very helpful will definitely be recommending them to everyone

5 Star review, very pleasant lads arrived on time had the job done in no time. installed an outdoor lighting system and removed a live wire left from an old garage. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Had them come back round again to install a hot tube and secruity light. Really efficient service will keep on using this company for any electrical work going forward

Really happy with the work completed. Arrived on time, efficient and friendly service, thanks again 😊

My 92 year old mother was having problems with power tripping off. Of course, this has to happen over a weekend. I don’t live close to Fleetwood so couldn’t get over to have a look but I called Nathan at Westwood Electrical and he had one of his team out within the hour. Turns out mice had been eating the wiring. The guys worked late into the night to make sure mum had temporary power. A rewire was required which Nathan and his team managed to complete in a day with minimal disruption. They left the house spotless. Really pleased with the work. Highly recommended.

Friendly, professional, no problems with anything I needed doing, and great lads as well. Can’t recommend them enough!

Excellent Proffesional service by Westwood Electrical. Nathan and his crew are very courtesus moreover theyy excecuted the repairs effectively and we are most grateful to all of them.

Fantastic local company. Great guys all of whom genuinely care about getting it right for you. Thoroughly recommended!

Emergency call-out at 9.45 on a Saturday night and Nathan was here within 20 minutes. He was here 40 mins and solved the issue in a professional and friendly manner. Explained everything fully to us. Call-out charge was very reasonable and we would definitely use the company again for any electrical work.

Absolutely fantastic, both Aaron and Nathan are friendly, efficient and definitely know their trade, highly recommend- best service

Needed a few job doing around the house including a landlord safety check all done in record time efficiently and tidily couldn't ask for more highly recommended

Great Service very prompt. Filled in form and they were out next day Prices very good highly recommend

Only a small job required. Nathan arrived on time, was polite and courteous even after a late job the previous evening. Carried out the work well and respectfully. I asked questions about other possible jobs, Nathan was honest and very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Would whole heartedly recommend this company. Nathan is a wonderful person with his staff and the way he conducts his business, he is trustworthy and reliable. I will be booking with this company again for all future electrics. Thank you Westwood electrics.

****Update Used Westwood for a rewire, before any work was done Nathan talked us through what would happen and asked what we wanted. Will and Ryan arrived on time the first day they were polite and professional and talked us through what they were doing each day. They made sure they tidied up at the end of each day and on the final day put everything back how they found it. Nathan gave us a reasonable price and the work is done to an excellent standard. Thanks again Nathan Will and Ryan, will definitely recommend these guys and use again. Called Westwood electrical, due to an issue after having a smart meter installed, Nathan got here with in 30 minutes and sorted the problem quickly. Nathan offered advise and gave a reasonable quote for a rewire. Will definitely use again Thanks Amy

I'm really impressed with the entire service, came around within the agreed timeframe, and sorted the issue we encountered exteremely quickly. Thank you for all your help!!!

Thank you to Nathan, Aaron,Tony and Danny . Your team that visited recently to check EICR and complete professional and efficient work at arranged times by Nathan .All appreciated very much ( Aileen )

We received a great service from Ryan & Tony today for the extractor fan in our bathroom. They were really friendly and got the job done efficiently. Thank you 😊

We were really impressed with Westwood generally ... customer focus, response time and communication were all excellent. Ryan and Tony arrived punctually and did a clean and tidy job. Would definitely recommend Westwood Electrical Contracting.

Westwood were amazing, so helpful ! Ryan and Tony would definitely be using your company again you were so brilliant !

These are customer service standards that these days are rare to find. I will certainly use again if needed and recommend without hesitation.

Could not recommend Westwood more highly! Nathan came out so quickly - I thought I'd be stuck without power in my office for the rest of the day but he came along in the afternoon and then diagnosed & fixed our problem within 15 minutes max. Incredibly efficient but also very lovely & talked me through the issue so we know what to look out for moving forward!

Nathan and Ryan from Westwood came to fix a new fuse box and multiple sockets, absolutely smashing guys, really fast and friendly. Ryan went to fix a light socket in the back room which wasn’t on the list to do he fixed that and then even replaced my bulb for me. 10/10 would absolutely recommend them to anyone

Excellent professional job - tidy, polite gents - shout out to Ryan

Fantastic.. round within the hour. Managed to sort the problem with the sockets quickly! Highly recommend

Contacted Nathan on an evening and he was here the next day, extremely polite and patient. He was quick and professional with finding out that the problem was the water pressure and not the shower it self. Highly recommend and will most definitely be using his services again. Thank you

I can't thank these lads enough. I called them out as my shower was not heating up. They called round and changed it for us. The issue was still not sorted as the water was still not warming up. They came round and installed another shower for us thinking there may be a fault with the previous one. It wasn't until we realised that there are water works going on in the area causing low pressure to properties. We didn't get notified by United Utilities about the works. So now we're waiting for that to be sorted and this should sort the issue. Thank you again for your time and patience and I can't recommend enough.

The electricians attended within hours of my call to them and resolved the issue for the price quoted on the phone, which included parts and labour. Very happy with the work done and getting a problem fixed so quickly. I would highly recommend this company for electrical work.

Amazing response time great prices Thanks Nathan and team at Westwood

I had to call Westwood Electrical out-of-hours for an urgent circuit board issue, and I’m so glad I did. They discovered that the original installation from when the house was built four years ago was never tightened properly. This could have easily ended in a fire or a disaster if they hadn't caught it. The electrician was prompt, professional, and potentially saved my home. If you need a reliable expert who doesn't cut corners, call these guys.

Phoned him at 0700 was at my house by 8 and fixed a tricky problem. Very professional.. You pay for what you get.. Very satisfied

Had work done this morning very happy with what they have done reliable and not very expensive also guys that came out were very friendly and so easy to get on with if you need a sparkie these are your guys

What can I say amazing guys who did an amazing job very efficient and polite would highly recommend to anyone looking for work to be done to the highest standard.

Omg what can I say 3 divs or so call sparkies came looked tryed to rip me off nooooo. Not 1 penny lost thaks to these fantastic hummans named Aaron and Nathan came looked fixed 👏 absolutely 💯 satisfying 👍

Was loosing power from plug sockets from seven rooms in house intermittently. Westwood turned up at specified time asked a couple of questions. And within 5 mins found the problem. Loose wiring in an un used plug socket. Thanks for a great job. Will definitely call you again for electrics problem.

Great work, called this morning, attended sooner than expected m, fixed fault, what’s not to like! Thanks again 😊

Rang about an electrical fault that was making me panic and he managed to help ease the worry by talking me through what I can do and really helped me calm down, put forward to my lanlord for any and all jobs that will need doing, fully recommended just on advice alone

I do not have a single bad word to say about the guys at Westwood Electrical. I’ve had multiple pieces of work done by Nathan and Aaron. They are incredibly progressional and have a wonderful attention to detail. I will personally never go elsewhere for anything I need an electrician for.

Great, reliable and friendly service. Definitely recommend

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! From the very first interaction, nothing was too much trouble. They were incredibly prompt and reliable, always communicating effectively—a huge benefit as I was out at work a lot. The service was excellent, everything was explained fully, and I was given various options, including sometimes cheaper alternatives, along with expert advice. They were very friendly and clean and tidy while working. When changes were requested they adapted what they were doing without any fuss. I was so happy with the original work they completed that I immediately booked them back in for a full kitchen rewire. The second job was just as seamless and professional as the first. I couldn't be happier with the work completed! A truly reliable and trustworthy company.

Came out and diagnosed issue we had with socket for oven within the hour and fixed it at a great price. Will be using Steve again when we need any electrical work and will be recommending him to anyone we know. Honest, reliable and fast service. Thank you so much!

Great communication, quick to respond, and did a great job installing a new socket. Also hoovered up after themselves which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend them. Thank you for your help!

Fast, efficient, courteous and friendly. Might only have been a quick job (changing a light switch) but they got back to me promptly and did the job same day. Will definitely use them again.

Electric shower repaired at a reasonable price considering the incredibly quick response and attendance, will definitely call Westwood again for any other electrical work and would recommend them. Many thanks

Good service by a pleasant guy. The job was easier than expected and he reduced the price accordingly.

Great and quick work. Nice and friendly guys. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Westwood electrical, I had all my installation safety checked earlier in the year, I was very happy with the service they provided & the documentation received. They are a very professional set-up & would always recommend to others, kind regards, Simon ( New Brooklyn Hotel ).

We were thoroughly impressed with the team’s professionalism from start to finish. They arrived on time, as promised, and demonstrated exceptional diligence, politeness, and skill throughout the duration of our full rewire project, which took several days. The quality of their work is impeccable, and their attention to detail speaks volumes. It’s rare to find reliable tradespeople nowadays, but we would not hesitate to have them back for any future electrical work. We highly recommend their services. Stupidly I screwed through a cable and called Westwood back. They were really understamding and ran a new cable for us. Nothing is too much trouble, that's a refreshing change these days. Really nice lads.

Absolute legends. Easy booking, fast and reliable work. Great value for money. Would give 6/5

Could not recommend more highly. Quickly identifying fault with electric wall heaters which had gone beyond repair, sourced and fitted new heaters within a week for very reasonable price. Courteous friendly and excellent work. On both appointments I was updated and kept informed of changes, even turning up early after letting me know. Will be my go to electricians. Thanks.

Emergency call out for main fuse blown, private property. Arrived within the hour, late afternoon/tea time, fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Lovely young man, very polite. Charged call out as quoted on the phone. I would recommend and use again, thank you.

Excellent job done by Westwood Electrical this week at Longton Tennis Club. We had our floodlights upgraded to LEDs and there were a couple of issues with the delivered items (not Westwood Electrical fault) but they suggested modifications to ensure we got the job done. Great to work with, good communications and I would definitely recommend them for any electrical work.

Super service and did a good job, friendly and helpful throughout.

Excellent Service from Westwood Electrical! I recently had the lights on my shop sign board fixed by Westwood Electrical, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. They were prompt, professional, and got the job done efficiently and quickly. The sign looks bright and eye-catching again – exactly what I needed for my business. Highly recommended for any electrical work!

Have a number of electrical issues in a new home that ive moved into this year. Aaron and Nathan came to complete an EICR of the full house to establish all the issues fully and sent a full report on completion of the job. I just wanted to take a moment to express how content I am with the recent experience we've had. I just thought I’d share some amazing experience I've had here with a local electrical company, Westwood. It was my first time using them and honestly, I'm pleased to say that I was positively surprised 🙌. The lad who worked for us, Nathan, was rather professional. 😊 I explained to him what I needed doing and he was absolutely on the dot. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he genuinely cared and made sure everything was done perfectly. He displayed a fabulous mix of professionalism and friendliness, which we found very reassuring. 👍 The whole job was done to a really high standard 📈, which was impressive. What stands out even more was their communication – it was really good. I was kept up to speed with all the what's what and wasn't left in the dark at any point 😎. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better timing, professionalism, or quality of work. I was absolutely delighted with the service! 🎉👏 I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing some electrical work done. We'll definitely be keeping their number handy and will be using their services again in the future. Carry on the good work Westwood! ⭐💪 Cheers! I’ve had the pleasure of using Westwood Electrical twice now, and both times the service has been absolutely outstanding. Nathan, the electrician, is a true professional who clearly takes pride in his work. The first time, he came out on short notice to fix an issue with my electric boiler—he diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently with no fuss. The second time, I had an issue with my electric shower. I called Nathan at 6 a.m., and to my amazement, he was at my door by 8 a.m. ready to help. That kind of response time is incredibly rare and very much appreciated. Nathan is polite, knowledgeable, and explains everything clearly, which gives you total peace of mind. It’s not easy finding tradespeople who are this reliable and genuinely care about their customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Westwood Electrical to anyone. Brilliant service from start to finish—thank you, Nathan!

Rang on Friday morning and Nathan turned up to assess the problem by 4pm. Explained everything in detail and put us at our ease regarding safety issues over the weekend and price of repairs. He was booked out over the weekend but returned Monday morning and sorted the issues. The work was carried out to the highest of standards and the area was cleaned afterwards. Both lads who carried out the work were very pleasant and talked me through explaining in layman’s terms what they had done to rectify the fault. Excellent service and I would thoroughly recommend Westwood Electrical.

We’ve had Westwood electrical in doing a full rewire in a property we bought in October. It’s a house needing a lot of renovation work. Having the rewire done was one of our first projects and I’m glad this was the case. They’ve done a lot of work for us since October. Helped us every possible way they could. Always at hand when I need advice re the electrics in the property. Have given me a lot of advice re other aspects of the house (I have had other contractors that have been less helpful) they’ve done a brilliant job throughout the house. Came back if there was ever any issues no questions asked (which was due to the house being in a terrible condition before they began their rewire) Excellent work throughout the house, no issues at all, if you need a rewire or any electric work doing, I HIGHLY recommend Westwood electrical.

Amazing! So refreshing to deal with a company who are professional, reliable, courteous, and care about their customers. We called when our electrical supply failed. Aaron was at our property within an hour, identified the problem, and managed to sort a temporary fix so we could remain in our home, and then returned within a week to carry out a permanent fix. We were kept informed at all stages, from receiving the quotation, quickly followed by confirmation of the date of the repair, and during the repair itself. We can't recommend this company highly enough. Thanks to Aaron, Nathan and all your team , we will definitely use you again for any future electrical work.

Really pleased with Westwood Electrical. They came to fix some lights for my elderly mother . They went above and beyond to fit her in before Christmas and help her . The total cost was the same as some companies had quoted for just the call out fee. Would highly recommend them. Great job lads !

I cannot rate this company highly enough. Nathan was knowledgeable, communicated well with me, and did a fantastic job. It was an EV charger fitted & I even received follow up messages to check everything was working well. Outstanding service & would most definitely use again. Thank you Nathan & team.

Having bought a house in a different area was dauinting not being familiar with traders in this area but first response dealing with "Westwood Electricians" to completion of their work was a pleasure. I'm in the process of having more work done by Arran & Ryan and will continue to use them in the future. it's made my move more easier knowing I can trust Arran & his team. Well done Lads. Janice Taylor

Aaron from Northwest Electricians and his team are a cut above the rest. I can assure you that they are the best electricians in Blackpool and Lancashire region. To give you context on my experience and review of this team is based on this. I’ve had 2 different electricians, come to my house to do a rewire on different occasions and they were so below par it was shocking. After weeks and even months of back and forth and excuses from the 1st electrician named Carl Wood from blackpool, who by the way is someone you should mark and avoid at all cost. And by far is the worst so called “electrician” in blackpool I have ever met. Approach with caution. What took him months to try to do and could not do. I then had Aaron from Northwest Electricians come with his team and smashed out the job and fixed all the issues in no time. I hands down will definitely be calling upon them in the future, for any works that I have to get done. They are the best in the market, guaranteed. Extremely happy, with there works.
