I recently had some work done in my back room, they knocked off all my old plaster and then add a waterproof damp covering before adding new plaster board and a fresh skim. They made sure my house was protected from the dirt and tidied my home throughout after the work was completed. Brilliant bunch of lads with a wicked northern sense of humour. I’m disabled and they made me feel very comfortable and my home was not left in a mess as I have difficulty with cleaning etc. I would recommend this company to anyone. Excellent from start to finish.

Bambers have recently installed 4 HHR storage heaters in our apartment, along with a heated towel radiator in the shower room, heater in the toilet and new front door and frame. The standard of the work undertaken so far has been excellent and all employees have worked to a high standard of cleanliness. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and would certainly return to them for any future work.

Excellent company with great service. Plumbers deserve a raise

Absolute nightmare! Those guys have no experience at all in house maintenance. I have issue with window bay reported to them in April, since then they did not bothered to repair it. Issue with poorly fitted hand rail on the stairs. Last Friday they replaced my roof, and since than there is a leak and water dripping from light fitting. Supervisor or Bambers boys refused to take responsability and repair what they broke. The issue will be forwarded to trading standards but for now I am just sharing my experience to warn you about them. Whatever they do, small job or big, is a disaster.

If this company is still ran by David Bamber then avoid at all costs. his company did work to my house on a council grant and made an absolute mess of almost all of it. The roof it shocking with rubble left under the tiles and they left a hole in my roof one night and it flooded my house when it rained. This guy is chasing money and does not care about the customer. Avoid. Far better builders around.

HI ALL, we recently had our bathroom done by bambers, i thought all was ell untill my elderly granpa was in the shower. he suffers from ptsd and he loud banging sent him into a fit, my mema tried helping him get out but apparently the floor wasnt done correctly as they fell through crushing my cat. i called up and spoke to someone called GH who said i should put him in a care home

Excellent experience with Bambers. On time, worked constantly- even refusing offers of hot drinks- and cleaned up afterwards. Great job done. Would definitely recommend

Planned wet room done to high standard done within time frame, but work tops and two wall cupboard in kitchen still not done after 9 weeks of finishing wet room which should have been finished at same time as wet room, excuse after excuse, firstly work top came in scratched so had to order new one, then said they had units, got date to have work done to then get a call the day before saying the units hadn't arrived, even though two days previous they said they had everything just required a workman. Now they're putting the blame in Savoy Timber. All work had been agreed on prior to starting many weeks earlier, but they just hadn't bothered ordering. They're happy to take the money but not carry out the work. No communication unless you contact them.

I’ve just had my bathroom done by Bambers. Tyler and Mitch, I think are the names of the two lads. That were here the most, but other tradesmen came and went. But what a fantastic job they have done. I would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you.

My mum has just had a wet room done by Bambers and we are absolutely in love with it. We were blessed being sent two lovely, polite, considerate and very hard working young men, Tyler and Mitch to complete the work ( other trades came and went and it all ran like clock work ) This review doesn’t really express how hard working these young men were and how very grateful we are for being left with an AMAZING bathroom, which will be a game changer for my mum. Bambers recently put me in a new kitchen in my council house…although my landlord was paying for this i would more than happily recommend them to any body needing a new kitchen…they were very professional from start to finish letting ne no what they were doing every step of the way…every day different professionals were in and out straight after 1 another …whoever was organising these guys was running it like a military operation…tom seemed to be the one overlooking everything and making sure everything was finished to high spec…hes a credit to the firm…always smiling and very informative plus my dog loved him lol …thankyou all for my beautiful kitchen transformation as you mught of gathered im over the moon with it …gina

This driveway was done Feb 2022. Have complained several times and all that's been done is someone comes out to weed kill ! Would NOT recommend this company!!!

Horrible service approved by the council should tell you everything you need to know, I don’t know what I did wrong but I saw someone who’s black got mistreated so I’m guessing that played a part. Did a horrible job destroyed the front garden left bricks all around the back garden. The only person who did a good job was the guy who did the tiles said I was horrible to one of the staff same guy all the time seems he doesn’t like people of colour

I cannot fault anything. Our bathroom remodelled to a wet room in 5 days. The team working each day - Tom and Liam were terrific. They never stopped - kept us updated each evening answered any questions and solved all problems. The electricians, tiler and the man who laid the floor were all efficient and professional everything was tidied each evening and the house left clean and tidy. I special thank you to both Tom and Liam who completely accepted and dealt with my noisy over enthusiastic dogs - I’m suprised my young dog didn’t stow away to go home with Tom.

My son just posted a review for BAMBERS, and the Boss, reacted so negatively towards it that he barged in uninvited, while we were eating our lunch. He spat on my food, while shouting, just because I defended my home and my sons. He let off the worker(s) yesterday, who barged into my bedroom (when the bedroom door was shut tightly, and barricaded, as I knew someone would come in) not only did they put footprints and saliva all over my floor, but they also placed a dirty, unknown object inside my room. He defended them saying they're just "shy", which is quite funny, since yesterday they were talking about so many dirty, and s*xu@l things, and swearing nearly 24/7. I suffer from social anxiety, and I'm disabled, and he treated me like I was nothing. It seems being a disabled black woman,is a issue. He even argued that my son's review should be taken down, just because he didn't agree with it.scary individual.

Bambers did a extension and completed a wetroom for my beloved mother. The staff from Bambers were very professional, polite, caring and the working completed for my mother was amazing. They are a genuine caring company that actually care for people. I have to say they are fantastic in every way and I have no complaints about them at all. I am thinking of converting my garage into a room and converting my downstairs bathroom into a wetroom. I will contact them soon for a quote! Rest assured they will make sure they will complete the work how you want it, they may take a bit of time to complete the work but it will be done to perfection. Bambers currently working on the property next door to us in Fulwood, Preston.Unprofessional attitude from day 1 (Blocking drives, swearing, groups of workmen very abusive and intimidating (especially to women) when approached to move vehicles 😔 In addition, problems with unsitely portaloo on site (leaking all over grass and street - over 48 hours with excrement and stench in front garden. Despite being asked by the poilce to move it, they haven't and environmental health now getting nvolved. When contacting office to lodge complaint, office staff stroppy and refused to help so police had to be involved. Would recommend you think twice before hiring this company for both you and your neighbours wellbeing.

Bambers installed a wet room for me, couldn't be happier with the work they did, they have made life so much easier for me now and given me independence. All the workmen were brilliant, have to give a special mention to Paul and Reese the plumbers, great blokes. they oversaw the refitting of my bathroom in 5 days. great company to deal with, highly recommended.

I've been trying to get my slate roof fixed for a few months now keep phoning them but no one turns up to fix my slates that have moved it's not even 3years old and at least 14 slates have moved not happy

Fantastic workers, had a wet room installed for my disabled son and the lads did a fantastic job. So polite, very tidy, very punctual, explained everything along the way. It's helped so much at giving my son his independence. I would highly recommend them. So pleased!! 😀😀

Absolutely brilliant workers had a bathroom done chaps were so polite I'm a disabled lad with a bad back these guys are really understanding and this job has made such a massive difference to my independence such a lovely job has been done and if I do say myself it's so good to see apprentices who really want to get stuck in and learn rather than stand around sweeping up and want to make brews they really do want to learn and work work work cracking lads would really reccomend these guys to anyone what a difference this has made to my life.

Delivery to site, can be busy area

1 star is far to much for this company and I warn anyone who contemplates using them. I live in a relatively new development of theres on Kirby Road and some of the workmanship within these properties is absolutely disgusting. Just had another water leak causing yet more damage and this time a fire. Unfortunately the agent keeps sending them back as the work is under guarantee but I will now be putting my foot down and not allowing them back into my property. Me, my wife and our 4 children moved in back in February and still waiting for them to finish making repairs. I am a contractor and have a building contractors myself and I would be devastated if any of my staff left people living like this. So this is a warning to everyone, stay well clear of these cowboy builders. When only the best will do call Tradeforce instead.

Just had our old bathroom refurbished by Bambers into a wet room and we are over the moon with the transformation . Tom and his team have worked like 'Trojans' and done a brilliant job all week. We are so pleased and happy with our new modern and easy to use facilities. A big thankyou to Tom and all the lads involved from Bambers for everything you have done. It makes life much easier for us.

Fitted ramp, front door, 2 internal doors and an electric shower. All jobs and workers were great and I recommend them 👍

Rubbish contractors wouldn't use again even if they paid me I had to put 1 star it wouldn't let me put none stay clear of them you have been warned !!!!
