Rang and spoke to Louise to book a EICR on a property we were looking at buying. Quickly arranged and booked. Unfortunately when the electrician turned up the home owner wasn't very cooperative. It ended up not getting done. I got a phone call straight away to advise me of this. However, from the quick check that had been done we were advised the electrics in the property would require some updating. We expected that to be honest. The home owner through his solicitors supplied an Electrical Installation Certificate of his own. Unfortunately it wasn’t something a lay person like myself could understand. At a loss at what to do I decided to ring Louise to see if I could send a copy over via e mail and ask if one of the trained electricians there could take a look at it. Louise could not have been nicer and friendly. Not only that but West Coast were extremely generous and refused to take any payment for what they had done for us. The help they gave us gave us a stronger bargaining position and we were able to get the asking price for the property reduced. The house will definitely want some work doing on the electrics and we will be looking to get an alarm, security cameras and lights fitted. Based on our extremely positive experience the first company we will be calling to see if they can do this work will be West Coast Electricals and Renewables.

We had a 5kW Alpha ESS inverter and 10kW battery installed. The West Coast team were a pleasure to deal with throughout, from an efficient, attractive quotation to good communications to plan the install, then installation in a single day, commissioning and follow up support. The installation team were quick, respectful and very tidy. It is great to experience such excellent customer service and technical expertise!

After spending several months researching different companies I decided to go with west coast for my solar and battery installation and I'm very happy with the service I received, Scott was very knowledgeable and continues to be of help several months after install. As I sit here on a sunny morning monitoring the app for my Solar panel installation ploughing electricity into the national grid I want to thank the West Coast team for their professionalism and support. The Installation went really well and the guys were great and very appreciative of the deserved hot drinks and chocolate biscuits. Can’t fault West Coast Electrical. From initial survey to fitting solar panels and battery they have been excellent. Efficient, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, respectful, went the extra mile and tidied up after the work was completed. Extremely happy with everything from West Coast Renewables. From the beginning there was no pressure and I was able to change my install after the first quote to meet my needs. I had Scott and the team install a 28 panel solar system with a massive 30Kw battery storage. Scott was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect system for our needs with no hard sell at all, as the savings spoke for themselves. The system has so far massively reduced electricity costs at the property. The team worked quickly cleanly and efficiently despite the installation taking place in mid winter. Highly recommended 🙂

Don't call the first two companies on Google, they are just people who take the calls, then they try and find an Electrician for you, this call went right through to Scott who found me a competent electrician closeby highly recommend.

I have just had a recent install of a 9.6kw Alpha Ess Battery and a 5kw Inverter done by Scott at West Coast Electrical. I would highly recommend using them not only is he a really nice guy but he’s very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything to you in simple terms. He was punctual turned up when he said he would, cleaned up after his work and did an all round great job fitting my battery. I will look to do the solar with him at some point too. One thing I feel assured about is that if there was any problems he would be there to help if needed. I’m really glad I chose to use this company 😁

If i could give less than 1 star I would. Avoid like the plague. Booked this company to put 2 new plug sockets in. Never turned up. When I messaged on WhatsApp to see where they were they said their systems were down and the previous job had overrun. Ok shit happens but despite repeated messages asking for an update, I was ignored. They never came, never apologised and never rescheduled even though I gave them the opportunity.

Scott from West Coast was amazing. He came out to install an Ohme car charger for my new EV and I couldn’t recommend enough, the charger works perfectly and I wouldn’t use anybody else in the future for my electrics!

Couldn’t recommend more if i tried…Great set of lads, faultless in all aspects. Scott and Luke both fitted a mains board change over and EV car charger install 2 weeks ago at short notice and moved jobs about so it was done in time before other work around the house was getting started-all work was completed at a top tier standard, neat&tidy and at a more then reasonable price. Additionally, Scott came back this week at again very short notice and moved his schedule about to first and second fix additional sockets/switches in the upstairs box room to fit around and to suit a desk/furniture that will be going in shortly as it becomes my mums new office for work. 10/10 from start to finish, and wouldn’t go elsewhere. These 2 guys fit my storage heaters today. I am so impressed, I was worried there would be wires everywhere. Absolutely no need you wouldn't have know they had been they cleaned up after. He explained how they work so I am confident how to use them. They were so polite. I would highly recommend.

Only had an initial consultation over the phone for the installation of a solar system with battery pack and Ev charger. So far very impressed with how knowledgeable, thorough and professional the man was.

This company is amazing. My elderly parents called me at 11:30am saying there was no lights or heating. I tried British Gas but they couldn’t get someone out until the next day, leaving them in a dangerous situation. West Coast had someone round at the property by 1:30pm and had it sorted in a couple of hours. For a same day service, with someone onsite within an hour, and the problem sorted in less than two hours, they cannot be beat. Thank you to the team, you made a big difference today.

Absolutely amazing service. I called West Coast following a terrible experience with another company that left me with no power to my downstairs sockets for days and a freezer full of defrosted food, after charging me an extortionate amount of money for a Sunday call out. Scott was happy to help and came out as soon as he was able to. He is extremely knowledgeable and very meticulous about his work and although it took him a while to diagnose what the issue was, he didn’t get annoyed or make me feel like he was rushing to get to another job, and eventually managed to restore power to some of my sockets so I could use them. Unfortunately for me the issue is one that needs more work to fix properly as it’s an old house and some of the wiring is failing but again, he told me what work needed to be done and how much it would likely cost so I wasn’t worrying about it. He didn’t just fob me off with a quick fix like the previous company did. I’m a single mum and having workmen in the house can sometimes make me feel uncomfortable and anxious, I’m also quite nosey when things are being fixed and some workmen can get a bit aggy when I talk to them, but Scott was super friendly and engaged when I was asking him questions, he happily explained everything he was doing and what he was finding. Cannot recommend these guys enough. 11/10

Scott, Luke and the team recently installed our EV charger - which required a long run of armoured cable being buried between the house and garage, upgraded our pendant lighting, installed additional outside lighting and sockets. The work was completed to an excellent standard, and was reasonably priced for the amount of work undertaken. I would highly recommend West Coast Electrical for all electrical work.

Scott, Luke and Connor installed a solar panel System on my roof and battery storage. They were absolutely brilliant from day 1. They liaised with scaffholding company to arrange times and kept me updated. Their work is neat, tidy and it’s obvious there is an incredible amount of pride in the work to ensure it’s a high finish. There was no rushing or feeling they didn’t have enough time. They even came back the week after to ensure everything was up and running ok and show me how to use all the apps and explain the system in full. It’s very clear they spend a lot of time learning about all the different products available because they were able to answer every question I had about all the components. I couldn’t recommend them more.

I rang West Coast at 8:30pm on a Sunday as I needed an emergency electrician. I instantly received a WhatsApp message asking if I had an emergency and to explain what had happened. The person sending the messages asked for photos etc and talked me through what proved to be a simple resolution to my problem, but made a huge difference for me and my family. So grateful for such a prompt and helpful service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Totally Useless bunch, someone called round to have a look at the Camera's i wanted installed and said they would give me a price the next day.... STILL WAITING.. and i have since been warned to avoid this bunch of cowboys like the plague.

We had a new mains board put into our home after we bought it and had all new electrics in the kitchen and throughout the house. The lads did an amazing job and made sure we were happy with the look and placement of everything! Super friendly guys and did such a neat and tidy job. Fantastic from start to finish! I dealt with Scott prior to the installation of high heat retention heaters and connecting up to Solar PV and a ventilation system in the loft. He took me through (in technical terms and also terms I could understand) how these steps would improve the efficiency of my home and how they would be installed, also offering plenty of advise. Quickly found solutions for any problems that arose. Scott and Luke carried out the work and I’m very happy with everything they did, including sorting out a rather jumbled up fuse board and also noticing potentially dangerous wiring in a different part of the house. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Top job and had a good laugh whilst doing it. Even did the hoovering up! Highly recommend

Cant thank the boys enough, came out quickly at Christmas to deal with a problem , resulting in a complete rewire in the New Year .They we’re very professional and a joy to be around even with all the snags they found they remained upbeat and smiling . Cant recommend highly enough, and are asking them to come back for some more work to be done, when they get a minute.

Carried out a complete rewire for us on a house we’d just bought, installing additional sockets, moving lights & switches, replacing the fuse board, adding a fan to the bathroom and some extra lights. Did their best to cause as little disruption as possible, a great job at a great price and a good laugh whilst they were at it! Highly recommended
