Ceri at Middle Earth Electrics has been our electrician for nearly 10 years, which probably says everything that needs saying. He’s polite, professional, and consistently reliable. Over the years he’s handled everything from planning and installing new plug points, to heated towel rails and external lighting. His prices are reasonable, he sticks to what he quotes, and when old houses inevitably refuse to behave, he always finds a sensible, creative way through without drama. The real mark of a good tradesperson is whether you keep calling them back - and we do. I’m very happy to keep using Ceri’s services for as long as he’s providing them, and I recommend him without hesitation.
Recommended by friends so I was suprosed to be so disappointed. Came to my home to quote, pencilled in a date to start works, went AWOL. Ignored emails and messages, answered the phone on a Sat morning. Said he was sorry, would respond to request for quote and didn't. Unecessary stress and my time wasted when could have just said 'not for me' which left me scrabbling around trying to put my trust in another tradesperson.
Ceri did an excellent job on our house. He really knows his stuff—professional, efficient, experienced and clearly loves anything and everything to do with electrics. As ever all his work was done to a high standard, and he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.

Ceri has done a couple of jobs for us now, the most recent was the full electrical rewire of our new (but old) home. What we thought was a big job became bigger and more complicated by the day but Ceri managed it well. He is a great electrician- he is knowledgeable, reliable and honest. He is also hard working and takes pride in his work. Ask him about the snazzy light switches - my husband thinks they are great!! We would recommend him and definitely use him again. 😊

Ceri has done a few different electric jobs for me over the last few years ranging from fitting lights to adding electrics to my garage and an outdoor socket for my hot tub. Ceri has always been very professional as well as being friendly and discussing what the job entails. His work is always done to a high standard and he ensures jobs are completed and the space left tidy afterwards. I will always go back to Middle Earth Electrics for future electrical jobs.
We've used Ceri at Middle Earth Electrics for a few electrical jobs that needed doing round the house, including getting electric power to an outside worshop and fitting an extractor fan in the bathroom. He's always arrived on time, and discussed with us the best way to complete the job, making sure we were aware when things might be disrupted if the power needed to be switched off. The jobs he has done are always to a high standard and he makes sure he's left everywhere clean afterwards.
Mark of a good tradie is that you use them twice and we've now used Ceri three times. He did an electrical inspection for my daughter's new house. Turned up on time, repaired the really dangerous home installed wiring immediately and told us the state of play with the rest of the wiring. On the back of this, he rearranged his diary to take advantage of a yet to be moved into house and we had the lighting circuits and fuse panel rewired. Ceri also moved a couple of light switches and installed new bathroom, kitchen and hall lights and later installed a trickle fan in the kitchen. All work done on time and cheaper than we've paid for equivalent work in Leeds. Really happy My top tip is to feed him nice coffee and he'll do a superb job.......
I would thoroughly recommend Middle Earth Electrics. After moving into our bungalow with rather dubious electrics Ceri checked it all out and removed some redundant sockets and circuits. He replaced and updated the electrical panel, ran in new circuits for the oven and kitchen appliances. Updated the kitchen spots and moved sockets and light switches to more convenient positions. He also installed an electric fire in the fireplace for us. Throughout he was professional and knowledgeable, explaining at all times what he was doing and why. A neat job on all the wiring and they cleaned up any mess made. Ceri is friendly, polite and respectful as were Dan and Kieran who assisted him making an excellent team. Thanks Middle Earth Electrics we feel much more relaxed knowing our electrics are all safe.

Always professional and I have used him for a range of jobs from fitting lights, changing spotlights, installing new shower fans to external building electrical issues. Standard of work is outstanding, he is tidy, well organised, punctual and he has a very cheerful disposition. I highly recommend Ceri. He did several small jobs for me, he explained what was involved with each and how he would do it, and put effort into ensuring everything was left tidy and neat. Ceri also found some faults with previous work (completed by someone else) which he corrected for me. Work was all completed to standards and I received certificates. Ceri is also welcoming and friendly. :)
Very professional, approachable and tidy. Ceri surveyed the electrics in our new house and installed extra sockets and two outside lights. He identified that a number of light switches were not earthed and replaced them. He worked hard to source switches and sockets that matched our existing ones. We were really pleased with Ceri’s work and we plan to use him again for our next job (installing a bathroom fan).
Ceri recently replaced our bathroom fan, which involved cutting a hole in our external wall. His quote was very reasonable compared to others I received, and he did a great job. I would definitely recommend Middle Earth Electrics.
Very friendly and tidy installation of six extra sockets and a new consumer unit. And safe: he wouldn't install contrary to regulations, which is very good to know even if it made it a shade more awkward to achieve what we wanted, but we got there. Definitely recommend.
