We hired Adam to connect a new garden building to mains electricity, via a cable run through the garden. Adam was very professional, his quotes were reasonable and accurate, and he was knowledgeable about what was required. Over a period of a few months, Adam turned up when he said he would, and did the job as he had promised. Communication was always timely and effective. We booked Adam to wire up a summerhouse. He did a great job. He did the job in stages so we could get the place insulated and lined and dig a trench, in between him fitting the wiring, installing the fittings and laying the cable from the house. He is a lovely chap and knows his stuff. He takes time to explain everything thoroughly and his communication was very good. When we had an issue a week later, he came back to investigate at the earliest opportunity despite it being over the festive period. It turned out to be an issue in the fuse board unconnected to his work, which he fixed for us at minimal cost.

We couldn't recommend Adam more. We called him out because of a burning smell in our house - we suspected our bathroom fan was the issue. As it turned out, the smell was caused by a loose connection in our fuseboard which had started to burn through the plastic of our fuse box. Despite only being 4 days away from going away on holiday with a lot of jobs booked, Adam went out of his way to make our house safe, restore our power and reassure us. Firstly, each and every one of Adam’s 5-star reviews are well deserved! I initially contacted Adam via his business WhatsApp account, and within minutes he had replied offering me a slot the following morning! Unfortunately, I couldn’t accommodate that time and Adam made a point of fitting in around my schedule and visited later in the evening to assess what I wanted doing. A week later I was booked in! A few days prior to Adam arriving, I had a slight hitch as other work was going to be carried out on the same day that he was due to arrive. He arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed what the problem was. Then we were informed the nature of the problem and Adam priced the job there and then, and again we were told how much the overall cost would be. It all sounded good and reasonable so he got the go ahead from us, and he was able to repair the fault there and then. Adam seems a friendly, professional, honest guy. We were looking for an electrician to replace an outside security light and an internal double power socket. Having found Adam on google and seen a number of good reviews, we contacted him and were impressed from the outset by his professional approach in providing an estimate in writing, agreeing a date/time for the work, using a pre- job “site checklist” and generally communicating ( esp sending us several “reminders” of the appointment). On the agreed day Adam arrived on time - gave us a choice of external lights at different costs and explained the key differences. He carried out the work in a very friendly, proficient and timely manner, particularly in view of a couple of slightly confusing issues with existing wiring which came to light during the job. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and was very open about additional labour which we may or may not have needed, which I appreciated. He also stuck around to give me some advice on mounting a bracket without drilling into existing power lines which wasn't part of the job but he was very happy to consult on.
