We obtained a few quotes for re-doing our garden but there was no hesitation in choosing Darren - he offered exactly what we wanted to achieve. Our garden had an uneven patio whilst also being not level towards the back with a disused pond and whilst other less experienced outfits felt this would be difficult to achieve smooth level landscaping Darren made no fuss. Paul, Mike and Josh were excellent in carrying out the work taking care and attention ensuring we were happy with the finished outcome. Definitely recommend D. Contacted Darren back in May 2025 regarding having an old patio removed and a new one laid . We also contacted some other companies for quotes . The quote from Darren was very detailed and very thorough . Although not the cheapest quote we felt confident that the end product would be good . The work started in October his team were very professional, friendly and experienced. We were kept fully informed about what was happening and any changes or design ideas . Darren Plumridge's company did an excellent job in rebuilding our frontyard. The build was a challenging job as it required the construction of a new structure for a parking space and steps on a downward slope off a main road. The crew (Courtney, George and Harrison) are exceptional and considerate builders and carried out all their work with utter professionalism, doing so expediently according to schedule and finishing everything with great care in difficult circumstances. The finished construction more than exceeded our expectations and very much shows that it is worth investing a bit more in a conscious and reliable builder. Recommended.

Darren came to give us a quote for replacing our driveway and remodelling our front garden. This was about three months before the job was started and he impressed us at once by making a number of helpful suggestions as to how we might address the issues we were trying to deal with. The lead in time before work commenced was quite long but this was because his service is in high demand. The work was carried out within the schedule agreed with Darren and throughout the works the on-site leader kept us informed of progress and involved us whenever there was a hitch or a decision needed to be made. During the works we had a bit of scope creep but that was at our instigation and all work was quoted for and approved before action was taken. The on-site leader Paul was excellent. He ensured that the site was cleared at the end of each day and that we had safe passage to the street. The finish on their work is top notch! This is not the cheapest provider in the area (nor the most expensive) but you definitely pay for what you get. All work was of the highest standard and quality materials were used throughout. I would highly recommend Darren if you are thinking of having your driveway and garden changed.

We approached Darren few months ago to replace the driveway and side path but sadly chose someone else who was less costly. The work carried by the less costly firm was very amateurish and after a dispute among the team, they left leaving behind an unfinished unsafe driveway and never returned! We contacted and asked Darren to do the driveway for us which he accepted to do at the original quote. The whole area had to be dug up by Darren and his highly skilled hardworking team, all rubbish cleared, work was completed in 2 weeks. We are exceptionally pleased with our new driveway. Darren recommended Bradstone Braddrive Cobblestone blocks and we couldn’t be more happy with his choice. The end result is stunning. The workforce were courteous, prompt starters, tidy and professional – ever eager to work through with us the variations to the project as they unearthed surprises when the foundations were dug out, and when existing clay drainage interfered with block laying. They took an immense pride in their work – and it shows through with the end result. Darren was able to provide recommendations for lighting and railings fitting, and those suppliers knew Darren’s people well so very much an end to end service. It’s a wait to get availability from Darren’s teams – but very much worth it and really how often does one get a drive laid?.

Darren’s team built us a gorgeous new 130m2 patio. The work went very smoothly, they accommodated our requests, met the brief well and left everything tidy once they were finished. There were a couple of bits they couldn’t finish as we were waiting on another job to be completed but Darren helpfully promised to return to finish off the job at a later date. Darren’s team did a fantastic job constructing my driveway, done jointly with my neighbour. They were thoughtful and great communicators especially considering they had two clients. They were fab at offering ideas of what would look good and listening to what we wanted. We’re incredibly pleased, and have had so many compliments already. They were very thorough digging out and laying the substructure, so it should last a really long time. They were very careful with our services which had been laid too high and dealt with the 3 manholes excellently. We had to wait a while for them to be available to do the job, but it was well worth the wait! They took a little longer than expected to complete the job, due to illness of a member of the team, but the rest of the team worked really hard to keep the project on track. Especially impressive when done over a period of very hot weather. I don’t hesitate in highly recommending!

Darren and his team did my front and side drive and were amazing, managed to complete the job quicker than promised and perform the work with care and consideration. Their experience really helped ensure we got the right finish with the correct levels and drainage and a ramp for the side access which will help great with the bins! I was kept well informed throughout, and had no issues with the team being careful around services and providing good guidance on patterns, etc. They will be doing my next patio for sure!
