Driveways Excel Ltd

Top class company. Turned a mess of two badly broken parking spaces into a gorgeous paved monoblocked driveway. The team worked extremely hard clearing the site, building it back up and laying out the blocks. They took all the dirt, stones and debris away with them. Job was completed in two days. Everyone i dealt with was polite and knowledgeable and John gave great assistance when going through the various options available. Very reasonably priced. Happy to recommend them to anyone.

Good job and very nice experience with driveway.

Very quick and friendly service. Great quality finish.

Delighted with my new driveway, from the first meeting with Drew I was confident that the finished outcome would be to my absolute satisfaction. The team worked quickly and efficiently resulting in a top class finish. Would highly recommend and know who I’ll be contacting in the future. 5 star from start to finish.

Thoroughly delighted with driveway excel. Work was done prompt and very professional. Delighted with results. Drew and team great guys. Thank you again

So very pleased … professional service and quality work. From the first contact to finish, everything was done to a high standard, with quality and care - second to none and highly recommended - great team

This is a genuine 5*. review for Driveways Excel. From moment contact was made with Drew Cassidy and measurements/quoted price given and acceptance, the arrival of Kevin and fabulous team of hard working guys to the completion was nothing short of excellence in completing a superb new driveway bang on time in not the best of weather conditions. You won’t go wrong if considering a new driveway to speak with Drew.

Great experience from start to finish. Been looking at my scabby drive for more years than I care to mention. Observed Drew and his team doing a neighbours drive and was impressed with the job. Drew came out and gave us some good ideas and a fairly priced quote. Decided to go with it. Drew was able to accommodate me for when the work was to start and it started on time. The team who came out were thoroughly professional. They took the time and effort to get the prep work right before the laying of the blocks. The old drive was excavated with the debris lifted almost immediately by a specialist uplift (no skips) and the delivery of materials arrived at the appropriate time. Within three days I had a new drive which we are delighted with. I thought the whole process from start to finish was very slick with the minimal amount of disruption. More than happy to recommend Drew and his team to anyone thinking about a new drive.

Great experience with getting our driveway done. Drew is incredibly efficient with his time and we were delighted with how quickly the work was done and fantastic workmanship. Highly recommend!

Drew came out exactly when he promised he would to give us a quote for our driveway and took time to talk through lots of options. The work started less than 2 weeks later and Drew and all the team were very professional and kept us updated throughout the whole process. We are absolutely delighted with the finished result. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure we will get the team back for more work in the future. Huge thanks to Drew and his brilliant team 🤩

Driveways Excel recently completed our driveway, and the whole experience was first‑class from start to finish. The team were professional, organised, and incredibly hard‑working they turned up when they said they would, kept everything tidy, and delivered a finish that has genuinely transformed the front of our home. Communication throughout was excellent. Every step was explained clearly, and the advice on layout and materials was spot on. The workmanship is outstanding: solid, clean, and built to last. Several neighbours have already commented on how good it looks. It’s rare these days to find a company that combines skill, reliability, and pride in their work, but Driveways Excel absolutely do. We’re delighted with the result and would happily recommend them to anyone. Driveways Excel have also been awarded the contract to upgrade the mono block paving at the front of our church Lyle Kirk in Greenock.

So happy with my front driveway. They did it do quickly and it ran like clockwork. Drew and the team were so pleasant, turned up sharp every day even when it was too wet to work. Clean and tidy site too.

Honestly what a transformation to my home. I’m so happy with the results, only sorry I didn’t take pictures to share. I’d wholeheartedly recommend driveways excel and I’m already planning to ask them back for my back garden in the summer

From start to finish all excellent. John visited to give a quote, very competitive price. Kept informed through every stage. Job was done quickly and to a brilliant standard. Highly recommend John and his team.

Drew came out measured up and fitted us in quicker than expected. Kevin, Charles and Cole did a fantastic job, they talked me through the process and answered any questions I had and Gary built my new steps. I absolutely love my new driveway. Had loads of lovely comments and i have no hesitations about recommending Drivways excel, thank you all

Would just like to thank Drew and his team for a professional and efficient job on upgrading my driveway. Throughout the process, from selecting the bloc options through to turning up on the agreed day and undertaking all the work quickly I was very impressed. The chaps on site worked well, with no issues or dramas and ensured that the place was always kept tidy. Very happy with end result.

We are very pleased with the work, the project was well organised and efficiently carried out. We got excellent advice from John. The result is beautiful.

We couldn’t be happier with our new driveway! The team was professional, punctual, and clearly took pride in their work. The quality is outstanding, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service.

I had my drive and back garden laid by Drew’s team at Excel Driveways a few years ago and I have never experienced any movement or damage even with large vehicles on them. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family, they have all had positive outcomes with the works carried out.

5 star for start to finish. John was great and breaking down all the work needed. No haggling or over quoting, honest price first time. The amount of work the team achieved in 5 days was unbelievable. I’ve went from hating driving up to my house to bursting with pride. Highest possible recommendation for these guys. 5 star.

Excellent service from initial visit to completion. All over seen by John, work completed to an extremely high standard. Would highly recommend this company.

John and the guys were excellent, top quality work at amazing prices, not to mention a really fast turnaround! Couldn’t be happier with our new driveway! Would highly recommend 👌

Driveways Excel were excellent from start to finish. John and team understood the design we had planned for our garden slabbing immediately, and were incredibly quick and efficient, completing a large transformation in such a short time. The communication throughout was exceptional - John and team kept me informed at every stage. We are so pleased we used them and have recommended to others already.

John came out and pticed the job and within a couple of weeks had guys mobilised and ready to install. Helped me through the process of picking my colours and made suggestions to help out with some more challenging aspects of the job like building steps up to my front door and installing kerbing stones to hide a wall foundation that was installed by the previous owner of the property. The job was carried out in a timely and professional manner and im looking forward to working with the guys again when i inevitable extend my monoblocking.

From start to finish everything was done with a level of professionalism that is rarely seen. I can’t praise the company enough from getting my first appointment all through the lifting and laying of my drive to give me the awesome driveway that i have now and even the cleanup was great, and so far i have had several people stop and look at the drive and want contact details, thats how good a job the company did for me and I can’t praise them enough

After contacting Driveways excellent, their response was pretty much immediate. Drew came out, measured up, and gave me an excellent quote. The work was also started sooner than I was initially told, and completed within 2.5 days, during some extremely difficult weather conditions as well, (heat, not rain) The guys that did the work were excellent, arrived when they said they would, nothing was a problem and they explained the whole process. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, very competent and professional.

What a transformation completed by Driveways excel. Workmanship was superb and we were delighted with the end product! The finish was exactly what we envisaged. I would highly recommend Driveways Excel to anyone looking to transform their home.

I can’t thank Drew and his team enough. Their work exceeded my expectations. Two days from start to finish for the most beautiful drive. Massive approval from my building surveyor daughter and we have had gushing comments from the entire street. Drew and the team are a well oiled machine. Utmost professionals. We have the best drive in the world and are the envy of the street. Thanks again, from Eileen and Gordon Mackay

Drew & the team came out and done driveway at our home, fantastic job would highly recommend 👏

When I enquired, Drew came out and gave me a quote. I accepted and my driveway was done within 2 weeks. The guys done a great job, and cleaned up everything. Thanks for a lovely driveway.

This is a follow up on my husband post tom bell, some of the monoblock had cracked which was fixed eventually, now we have more that have cracked which have not been repaired, also the guy he sent out to do the last repair on the bonoblock chipped the edging along the bottom of my drive so now i have a gap at the end of my drive, we still have problems with the tar being repaired at the end of our driveway which has cracks and all the stones have lifted which John has promised us time and time again that it would be fixed, 5 months down the line and guess what it's still not repaired he is now ignoring our messages, so this is why I'm leaving a negative review, and yeah people might think there's always one who not happy. All I want is the job to be done the way I was promised by John. We worked hard to pay for our driveway to be done and we. So hopefully if they do a job for you hopefully it's done right first time,as they are not good at returning to fix any repairs after they have taken your money.

I would recommend Drew and his hard working lads if you are looking for a new driveway. Drew explained everything, nothing was a bother. The lads never stopped. Well done and Thank you. Doris McFadden

Delighted with recent new driveway . Drew and Team done a fabulous job everything went like clockwork right down to arrange debris to be removed.Professional team take pride in a good job can’t thank enough and would very much recommend .

This was a very important decision to undertake and picking the right company was vital. Driveways excel done everything they said the would to a very high standard. To say I was happy with the end product would be an understatement. The finish was superb. I would highly recommend this company, and Drew was on site every day to oversee the progress. Thank you to all the guys involved, great job 👏

Just had my driveway done by Driveways Excel. Drew came out to measure up and was professional, friendly and approachable and answered all our questions. I was pleasantly surprised at the price Drew quoted as we have a long driveway and wanted it widened as well as the mono blocking taken right up to our house and to our back gate as well as new front door steps. Great service from Drew and his team. The guys that came to do the actual work were friendly and professional and tidied up after themselves each day. I would recommend Driveways Excel if you want a new driveway.

Drew and his guys put a brilliant driveway in my front garden. They were very efficient and walked me through every part of the process so I was happy with the work being done. Drew also offered to put in non-slip porcelain stairs so my elderly family members would be comfortable getting into the house. Couldn’t recommend Driveways Excel enough!

Drew came to the house and gave a very competitive quote for the job along with a very comprehensive explanation of the work that would be carried out. The team showed up within a day or two and carried out the work exactly as described and to the highest standard which has completely transformed the property. Everyone showed up exactly when they said they would and were very professional.

Very happy with new driveway driving in feels very smooth drew and his team were very friendly and worked hard for 4 days to complete top job would recommend to anyone who wants a new driveway

Driveways Excel was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. It was a pleasure meeting with Drew to discuss what we wanted when upgrading the patio in back garden. Team - headed by David - worked in the most efficient, friendly and professional manner. Delighted with the overall result - a complete transformation in a short time. I can’t emphasise enough how excellent the communication between myself, Drew and the team was; kept informed at all times. Would recommend without hesitation. Thanks to everyone.

Drew and the team delivered from day 1 making immediate progress and in testing cold conditions. The finished product has brought much praise. All round, a great group of workers with a great end product.

Fantastic job by Drew and his team! Hard working team put in an incredible shift with real attention to detail and high quality workmanship. 3 car monoblock driveway finished and tidied in 3 days. Delighted with the result and very reasonable price too. Would highly recommend Drew and his team for your driveway/ patio.

if you use these guys don't pay full amount untill you are fully satisfied wish i hadn't..... I had my drive done with drop kerb , all seemed ok untill the cracks started to show cracked blocks, loose block on new step , ( been rectified). my job completed January still waiting for drive to be sanded , the tar on road edge still not fixed , also have a flattop edge that has sunk , also just found a chipped block, kerb edges loose. As for leaving job site clean and tidy yeah right , they left my back garden a total mess mud all over my porcelain tiles , empty iron brue bottles just left , which isn't good as well they new my wife is a childminder. it's nearing the end of March still waiting, getting excuses that the tar guys can't get tar..... REALLY !! ? they even sent me a message saying the tar boys wanted £150 to complete the tar , seemed like they were asking me for more money, not going to happen. at the beginning replies to my messages were fast and calls were answered but now it's whenever they can bothered. attention to detail isn't what was promised. If the job isn't completed by the end of the month ive to contact roads alliance again and give them my address this time and tell them who done the job , they will send someone out to inspect ( which i didn't do when I contacted them for support .

Drew and his team did an excellent job on our new driveway. They were very professional and completed the job exactly as they promised. Very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Drew.

Thank you Drew and your guys Brian Charlie and Kevin for such a great job amazing standard and very quickly fitted I've got plenty admirers and neighbours asking for your number which I have passed on amazing workmanship and totally very high standard of work received from speaking to the lovely Drew to the finished product couldn't recommend enough thanks again guys val and Tony xx

I would just like to Thank Drew who came out to arrange for my lovely new Drive. The guys turned up every day as promised and I couldn’t believe how hard Kevin worked with his sidekick sorry didn’t get your name but a young lad who also worked hard. The drive was completed in 3 days to a first class standard so much so my neighbours got theirs done too all done within a week and none if them were easy Absolutely brilliant job and no mess left after job. I will Recommend Drew and the guys 200% absolutely fantastic. Thank you Myra Doyle

We are really pleased with the work carried out on monoblocking our drive and front garden. After being let down by someone, Drew sorted things out for us quickly and without any fuss. The team were great. We would definitely recommend Driveways Excel. Thank you.

We are delighted with our new driveway. The installation team, headed up by Kevin, were industrious, tidy and polite. My new drive has attracted favourable comments from neighbours.

They did an excellent job. Very happy customer. Highly recommended.

Delighted with the job Drew and his first class team made of our driveway. they were professional and efficient from the start to the end and we would highly recommend them. Total transformation. Before and after photos provided.

Drew was really good to deal with from the first telephone call through to the end of the job. His team, led by foreman Kevin, were incredibly hard working and take pride in their work. They also gave me options on how I could have certain edging blocks laid around a planted area. Their attention to detail was spot on and one of the team (Brian I think), helpfully filled in some gaps in my steps with cement, which was outside the scope of the job. If you're looking for a new driveway then give Drew a call. I'm really pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Driveways Excel.

I would throughly recommend Driveways Excel. Drew was quick to turn up and gave quote which not only beat other quotes we had on price but also in the timeframe for when the job could be started and completed. The guys turned up within same week as quote and top quality job was completed in just 2 days.

Drew and his team did an outstanding transformation of my driveway using granite setts.Attention to detail and design was excellent.

John came to our home to quote for our driveway. He answered all the questions we had and advised us on anything we were a bit unsure of. We were very pleased with the competitive price. When it came to having our new driveway and tiled path installed the team were great. Finishing on schedule and leaving no mess. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend excel. 5 stars 👍

Drew and the team did an unbelievable job of my front garden! The photos speak for themselves, such a dramatic change. I got drew out for a quote and told him exactly what I wanted and he made it work with me having such a small garden. They did it all in 3 days. I would highly recommend. I am extremely happy with the end result. Before and After photos included. Thanks guys!

This is Drew’s second job for me in 3 years and yet again his work is excellent. Completed quickly and the place is left nice and tidy. Highly recommend.

First of all, after walking around the estate looking at various Monoblock installations and receiving many quotes from various companies. One particular driveway I came across stood out. This driveway installed in the estate suffered no sinkage or pooling of water. A small sign was attached to the lamp post was from Driveways Excel. I chose this company and Drew, the employee who quoted me was a non pushy salesman and showed me examples of work undertaken. The team of men who started work listened to what I wanted, changes here and there during installation. Cole, Andrew, Charlie and foreman Kevin completed the job without any fuss and hassle, not forgetting Gary the bricklayer who built me a new set of front doorsteps, he did great job. My wife and I are delighted with the completed Monoblock driveway and newly built doorsteps. I would highly recommend Driveways excel to anyone considering similar work.

Great work carried out by Drew and his team. Did a great job for a great price.

We are delighted with our new driveway and we are very glad we found Driveways Excel. Drew and his team are fantastic to deal with and everything was perfect from start to finish. From the initial quote consultation to the finishing touches, Drew and his team are professional, punctual, friendly, excellent communicators and committed to delivering exceptional workmanship. They provided competitive pricing and expert guidance and worked very quickly and diligently to create the perfect driveway for us which was completed within 2 days, and they also left our garden clean and tidy at the end of the project. If you're researching companies for a new driveway, you won't be disappointed. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Highly recommended!

This is the second drive Drew and the team have completed for me. The first was in Giffnock approximately 10 years ago and most recently in my new home in Clarkston. They have again done a great job very quickly and to a very good standard. Drew is really good at keeping in regular contact to update and make sure of customer satisfaction. Highly rate this company

I and my husband would highly recommend drew and his team for the great work and effort that they put in in January in taking out our front garden and putting in a mono-block driveway in only 2 days!! which has given us so much more space! Living in an area which is terrible for parking, they’ve helped give us something that we so desperately needed and it’s turned out fantastic!

Drew and his team accept nothing but complete satisfaction. Work is to a very high standard and have had passers by comment on how nice it all looks. I asked for something to be changed, no arguments, no quibble, just got on and done it. Would not hesitate to get more work done by them or recommend to others.

Drew and his team done a great job on our drive, really pleased with the finished result and Drew's attention to customer needs is second to none. Would recommend them without hesitation.

All the members of the team arrived when they said they would, Drew also kept in touch to make sure we were happy with the work. Good job done by the team, but shockingly bad aftercare. Drew is sadly not a man of his word. Snagging list still not fixed 20 months later despite numerous promises to get it done.

Great lads and a fab finish.

I can thoroughly recommend this company to my friends. Drew is a top bloke who will give his customers fantastic service.

Great service, great workers overall great job. Thoroughly recommend

Got mine done over a year ago, still looks brand new, shopped around for prices and driveways excel was cheapest and best reviewed, highly recommend

Initially a good job was done but I have tried for the last 3 months to get the company to come and give me a quote for additional work but they do not return phone calls nor do they answer their emails Seems like their service delivery is non existant
