We were initially really excited to work with Botley Town and Country Kitchens and Bathrooms. We needed three bathrooms fully renovated and made it clear that a quick turnaround—especially for the bath—was essential as we had a baby. The planning stage went well. Adam was knowledgeable, offered a good range of products, and worked within our brief, even suggesting discounted items from surplus stock. We appreciated the flexibility when we changed our minds on colours. We paid a 50% deposit to secure a start date, but this is where problems began. Work started over three weeks later than expected, and communication became poor. The project began in mid-November and was supposed to take under six weeks. Karol, the first fitter, was excellent—professional, respectful, and highly skilled. Unfortunately, due to constant delays in materials (often caused by incorrect or late deliveries), he lost work time and eventually had to leave through no fault of his own. I recommend you go direct to Anna and Karol at Paruk Building Services for your kitchen and bathroom installation. They can also help with design ideas and where to buy products - no need for Botley Town & Country. A decorator was then sent who showed little respect for our home. New tiles were damaged by dirty boots, paint was splashed where it shouldn’t have been, and finishing work was poor. He also attempted carpentry work he was not capable of completing, leaving a mess. We asked for him not to return. We were repeatedly promised completion dates before Christmas, but these kept slipping. We were even told someone would come on Christmas Eve—no one showed. By then, we had lost confidence and asked for work to pause until after Christmas. In early January, a leak occurred due to a pipe being knocked by the decorator, causing water to come through our kitchen ceiling. Karol returned promptly and fixed the issue, but was no longer working with the company. A second fitter, Maciej, did a great job finishing installations, though painting remained incomplete. A second decorator also performed poorly, using the wrong paint and leaving patchy results, which Adam acknowledged needed redoing. At this stage, we asked to end the contract. After significant delays, disruption, and poor finishing—despite a cost of nearly £21k—we were extremely disappointed. Adam did agree to a small deduction so we could hire Karol privately to complete the work. To his credit, Adam did provide a replacement kitchen sink free of charge as a goodwill gesture. By the end of March, Karol completed the bathrooms privately to a high standard, and we are finally happy with the result. However, the overall experience was stressful, drawn out, and far below expectations.
Recently remodelled bathroom, Town and Country were recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Great advice, good design and excellent personal service. Adam was very friendly, happy to give various options so we could make right choice for us. Would highly recommend.
We decided to remodel the bathroom after moving into the house. The builders were professional and kept us informed throughout the process. The tiling and fittings were done very neatly.
Town and Country fitted a new bathroom and ensuite for us last year and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Adam guided us through all the available options, and James produced designs that matched exactly how we had envisioned both rooms. Our installer, Maciej, was excellent. He worked efficiently, kept us informed throughout the installation and helped overcome any minor obstacles along the way. We are still so happy with both our bathroom and ensuite and wouldn’t hesitate to use Town and Country again for future projects.
Town & Country helped us renovate part of our ensuite. Adam was great in helping us choose the appropriate options for us - giving us various quotes to support our choices. It was great being able to actually go into local shop in Botley and talk to someone face to face - Adam popped round the next day to measure up. & Terry his installer was perfect. Thanks so much.
Avoid this company at all costs. My experience was an unbelievable saga of broken promises, missed start dates, and endless delays. I paid in July, was given confident start dates, and then spent the next four months being fed a rotating list of excuses — installer abroad, family issues, running late on other jobs; the best was, “I have been in Disneyland Paris with my kids.” Not one single promised date was ever kept. The first job was finally finished on 29 September, a month late and almost 3x what was quoted due to the salesman not specifying the job correctly. I should have cut ties then and got a refund for the items paid for, but I thought I’d give them a chance. The second job never even began, as I eventually had to terminate their installation work entirely. The start date quoted was 15 September; on 11 November they still hadn’t started and had not given a date when they would. I asked them to deliver the goods that had been paid for, as they had previously stated it would all be ordered once I paid for them back in July. The final part turned up on 15 December. Most of the items on the order had not been sourced with the manufacturers, despite them saying they would be, which resulted in the final part being delivered four months and three weeks after payment had been made. This is, without exaggeration, the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. I strongly suggest others to look elsewhere.
We're delighted with the two ensuite bathrooms that were designed and installed by Town and Country Bathrooms. Adam was helpful and attentive from start to finish.
Wow! We couldn’t recommend Town and Country more highly! Adam was brilliant from start to finish. We came in to the store with an idea and an image of our perfect bathroom and Adam was quick to help that vision come to life and understood what we wanted and enable us to have the bathroom of our dreams Karol who installed the bathroom was. perfectionist, extremely considerate and very polite to have working in the house We wouldn't consider anyone else when it comes to future bathrooms or kitchens Not only did they create such an amazing bathroom but they did all the work included to make that possible - knocking down our en-suite and building the bathroom from scratch by splitting the spare room in two. The project came with the usual teething issues which the guys were on hand to rectify Thank you guys so much!
As promised at the foot of this review - here is the update. 190 days and waiting. Wrong door yet again. Now waiting for Town & Country to be in a position to deliver new door and plinth and be present at hopefully what will be the final fitting. 3 weeks ago - I strongly advise thinking very carefully before using this company. I have been waiting 168 days from the start of a small kitchen and bathroom renovation to completion and am still waiting. I am not sure Town & Country Kitchens and Bathrooms have any idea of project planning, work scheduling, quality checks or procurement and certainly very limited customer service. I am currently waiting for several items to be completed. One was requested on 15 May and the other was identified as the wrong size was delivered on 6 June – it is now 7 October and neither have been properly addressed. The money wasted on paying for duplicates to cover wrong orders/lack of checking; delivering only half the items to complete a task; bringing in different trade’s companies to finish off the job abandoned by the original and generally to put right mistakes is unbelievable. Add to that the lack of any visible/audible care or concern for the client who has had to continually chase and ask for updates – what are Town and Country are being paid to do? – there is very little positive to say about the experience - it has been a nightmare. I have given up chasing them and subsequently have not heard from them for some time despite having been given revised dates of 28 September and 3 October. My advice – CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE. Adam and James were very Patient while we changed our mind numerous times on our kitchen design always willing to assist us in colour samples etc . The final kitchen was fitted to a very high standard including all electrics and plumbing. Town & Country also supplied and fitted a new tiled floor through our hallway and kitchen and levelled all floors. We so pleased with our kitchen and would highly recommend Town and Country.
We used Town & Country to design and install a new bathroom. It wasn’t the simplest project, involving moving the soil stack and some other enabling works, but T&C were able to recommend someone to undertake the additional works which were completed well, and they remained in close contact throughout. When it came to the install, this was done quickly and efficiently to a really high standard, and T&C were really helpful in overcoming the inevitable snags. A few additions were accommodated along the way, but the overall cost was largely true to estimate. My partner and I are really pleased with the outcome, and would happily recommend T&C. I will look to use them again in future.
We are so pleased with our beautiful new bathroom. Adam was exceptional from the planning, design and attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble for him. I would definitely recommend this company, they were very professional, friendly and customer focused which is very rare to see these days. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Our experience of using Town and Country was exceptional. Not only were we extremely pleased with the quality of the kitchen that we bought, we were incredibly impressed by the service Adam and James provided. They were extremely knowledgeable and creative with the design of the kitchen but more impressively the service after the kitchen was fitted was just as good as that when we made the initial purchase.
Adam and the Team have been great all the way through from initial design to completion as well as dealing with the challenges such work inevitably throws up along the way! I would certainly use them again.
A bathroom in desperate need of redoing! Town and Country couldn’t have helped us realise the potential for a sleek modern bedroom more. I can honestly say from initial thoughts, design and us wanting little extra bits added to the project, Adam couldn’t have been any more patient in getting us the fantastic end result and we are so happy we chose this company. We found them to be very competitively priced but 100% more professional from start to finish. The team that fitted the bathroom were organised, friendly and again nothing was too much if we asked for something.
We had our ensuite shower room designed and installed by Adam and his team at Town & Country. The service has been excellent and the installation immaculate. Overall we are very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
When we were looking to get a new bathroom the amount of choice is often overwhelming. We decided to use Town and Country as they also were so professional in their approach. The fitting, design and completion were all dealt with so efficiently by Adam and his team. , so my advice is please support a small local business , you will not be disappointed.
We had our en-suite bathroom done in Feb last year (2022)… sorry Adam it’s taken so long to write this. Anyhow it’s been nearly a year and I still LOVE it. Our en-suite is quite a small space, so we had to ensure the orientation worked so we could open the cupboard doors under the sink and also the door to the bathroom without bashing the toilet, whilst also maximising cupboard space in the units. Adam was really helpful in getting a variety of samples to make our choices for what would work best together, as just seeing it in a brochure doesn’t always work. I love the floor tiles - it’s like being at the beach. I’m also very pleased with the feature wall behind the bath with hexagon design in the tiles; although it was a bit of a pain cleaning out the excess grout caught in tile pattern. A couple of sessions cleaning it off with a toothbrush worked well though and it now sparkles. The bath is very comfortable and I can highly recommend the whirlpool bath; the additional jets for the feet and back were definitely worth it! John and Murray (MPK Plumbing) were great too. Very tidy workmanship and committed to get the job finished to a high standard. We’re now considering what to do in our other bathroom - Adam we’ll be in touch this year! 😊
Adam really listened to what we wanted and needed from the bathrooms, he was very personable and came up with some fabulous ideas. That coupled with the fitting by MPK plumbing was a match made in heaven and we are thrilled with the results. Thanks guys!
Adam and James are fantastic. They perfectly designed our dream kitchen. From start to finish the process was seamless. They kept us well informed and were always at the end of the phone to answer any questions. The product is great quality and the aftercare we've received has been excellent. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

First class service from start to finish. From our Initial meeting with Adam, we knew we were dealing with a very professional firm. He gave us some great ideas for our bathroom and cloakroom, he carried out a detailed survey and drew plans for us to review until everything was just right. Adam made sure that every aspect of the project felt right from the colour scheme, the electrics, the tiles, and that all the fixtures complimented each other. Daniel and Stewart who fitted the bathroom and the cloakroom were so professional, very friendly, they knew exactly what needed doing and did an amazing job and nothing was too much trouble. After every day they made sure they left our house neat and tidy. We are so pleased with our new bathroom and cloakroom and that we choose Town and Country Kitchens and Bathroom to do the work.
Town and Country did an excellent job in the re-design and installation of our new kitchen and family room. Adam and James were able to offer a much wider range of options for the kitchen than we had seen elsewhere and their communication throughout the process was brilliant, keeping us informed of timings and developments throughout. The installation from start to finish was outstanding, clearly Adam and James take pride in their work and this was reflected in the team who fitted the kitchen. The quality of finish and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

We've just had an en-suite completed by Town and Country and we're so happy and impressed. It was hard enough to arrange for a new bathroom through the pandemic, but Adam could not do enough to help us. We were lucky to be able to get to the show room before the lockdown, but even during the lockdown Adam was able to help us with video calls to help us choose tiles and fittings. Adam clearly has a huge amount of experience and was able to help us with some really clever touches which makes our new bathroom feel like a spa hotel! We will be using Town and Country again and I would recommend them to anyone.
After becoming overwhelmed by the amount of choice when deciding on a bathroom design and quickly realising we knew nothing about what we actually needed, we contacted James and Adam to talk through our requirements. They pulled together a computer design for us and recommended the products we needed to meet our requirements. Without this I'm sure we would have ended up deciding on the wrong products and ultimately wasting money. We've ended up with the perfect bathroom. Great guys, removed the stress from the process and great service. Would highly recommend.

I have known Adam and James for many years as a supplier to them now and previously and trust their professional approach to the industry dealing wit all challenges thrown at them. So much so they designed supplied and installed my parents En-Suite November 2020 and my elderly parents still smile every time they use the shower in their wonderful wetroom supplied by Impey Showers and what a transformation they are experiencing where my father who has limited ability actually looks forward to his showers every morning with level access showering-grab bar incorporated into shower column for stability fold down non conspicuous seat and location of shower controls for ease of use.
