Excellent service from start to finish. Problem with water running in the rear garden. Darren came to assess and knew exactly what was needed to sort this. Work was carried out - really hard-working, professional and courteous, always happy to answer questions and nothing was too much trouble. I'd also noticed a recent onset of water forming in front garden which I mentioned to Darren while he was here - turned out to be a burst pipe which they mended even though it wasn't on the original agenda! A big thank you for that. I 100% recommend DPDS for their efficient and helpful service in dealing with any drainage problem.
Following an external water leak on my property, Darren and Phil undertook a water supply pipe replacement along with a new boiler installation. They undertook the excavation works with care and left the garden as if nothing had been done. The existing boiler removal and fitting of a new Combi Boiler and pipework was also done extremely professionally with minimal disruption. The new boiler works perfectly and their aftercare has also been excellent ensuring everything is working as it should. A first class service and I would thoroughly recommend them.
Work carried out was removal of block paved manhole cover and frame in block paved courtyard, then fit new frame to accommodate cast iron cover and frame. This involved levelling surrounding area, cementing in frame and removal of rubbish. Darren their engineer arrived exactly on time and was pleasant in his manner. Clearly he is a skilfull, experienced man who knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He did a fantastic job and it was exactly what I requested at the price quoted. Great finish with matching coloured cement to blocks. Very satisfied and I will be using this firm again for another job. Excellent service with a very competitive price.

I stumbled upon DPDS and contacted them via their website to quote for a replacement drain cover in my driveway. My expectations were tainted by the slow/no response from others but I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Romy within 30mins. I was impressed that she had a good knowledge of their business and fully understood my requirements. This excellent service continued through quotation (very reasonable price) to booking in the job a few days later. On the day Darren was on site at 7.30 and after a brief chat he cracked on and the job was done and dusted by 10.30. His work was neat and tidy and I would have no hesitation in recommending DPDS in the future.

We have had severe flooding of our back garden over the last few winters. We had a couple of quotations for work to be done to solve the problem. We chose DPD because of their professionalism and competitive pricing. They carried out the work very competently and within the timescale they had quoted. The work involved required removal of turf to dig trenches and removal of some paving to put in pipe work to connect to existing surface water drain. The turf was very well relaid and paving relaid and pointed expertly. The garden was left neat and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend DPD.

Absolutely superb service from start to finish removing our old Victorian interceptor trap that kept blocking. After filling out the web site enquiry form I had a call back within 20 minutes from Romy and after sending some site photos, I had a quote within a couple of hours. Excellent communication throughout the process and very reassuring clearly explaining what happens. Work was done quickly and efficiently within a few hours just using hand tools, and the area was left clean and tidy. Process was topped off with a CCTV survey to check everything. Very competitively priced and they were willing to travel from Dorset to Reading in Berkshire. I hope my rodding poles never see the light of day again but I just wish I had had this work done years ago. Really cannot recommend this company highly enough.

They are brilliant! I sent them a query, via their website, for the replacement of 3 manhole covers, and within 2 hours they responded via email, and then phoned me. They quoted me over the phone and booked a day in to do the work. When they came to do the work they were extremely professional, courteous, and very tidy. the work was immaculate. I found them utterly brilliant - efficient at every point of contact, and I just can't praise them highly enough. I have used many tradesman, as I have restoring a house and they are by far the best. Can’t recommend this company highly enough. From speed of quotation through to execution, the job was completed quickly. Darren knew exactly how to solve our problem which was flooding of the patio, deterioration of the retaining wall and surface water collecting behind the wall due to the sloping garden. Darren is a very hard worker, he does in a few hours what most do in a day. He’s completely self sufficient, no multiple tea break stops. He completed what he said he would when he said he would, leaving the flower beds and lawn looking like they hadn’t been touched. He is ably supported by Romy, who provides very efficient back office and customer service. I will definitely use this company again should I have any further draining problems in the future. I can understand why this company is one of the very few recommended by Trading Standards. Just an update, August 17th, despite the heavy thunder storms, no flooding. Absolutely fantastic job, we’re delighted!

I phoned DPDS drainage this afternoon to enquire about getting some advice and a quote for a surface water drainage solution as we're laying paving at the rear of our property. The lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and not at all helpful. After explaining the situation, her response was simply "what is your issue, what do you want us to do?". I explained again, we're laying paving, I don't know what the drainage requirements are, hence why I rang so that we could discuss whether I need further drainage installed. She basically kept saying, "if you've not got a drainage problem, I don't know what you want us to. It's up to your paving contractor to sort out the drainage". The conversation got to the point where it was clear she wasn't prepared to give any useful information herself, or send someone round to inspect the project. At this point I said OK, I don't think we're getting anywhere here, do you install drains? She then got even more shirty with me and insinuated that I was being condescending to her and it was because she was a woman! At which point, she hung up on me!! I was left wondering what on earth just happened and was actually a bit shocked at how bad her attitude was towards me right from the start (yet she felt like I was attacking her, and it was because she is a woman!?) Literally the worst customer service I've ever encountered from a company! I hope its not a reflection on the work your company carries out. Maybe she was just having a bad day, in which case you have my sympathy! But you seriously need to improve your phone manner and customer service skills.
Dorset Property and Drainage Solutions came today and cut the roots in our drain. We are very impressed with this company and would highly recommend them. They are efficient, reasonable, friendly, honest, and put our minds at rest. We cannot say enough to thank them for a job done really well.

Responded immediately to enquiry on the website with a competitive quote and were here the next morning before 8am. They did a great job replacing an old broken cast iron manhole cover with a nice new plastic one, leaving the place clean and tidy. If only every company was so efficient, responsive and good at their jobs, getting work done on the house would be so much easier.
Fantastic Service! I had a problem with a 'Fat Blockage' at my Parents home. DPDS came out in the early morning next day, sorted the problem and kept in touch about progress every step of the way. I could not ask for a better service!
Darren and the team at DPDS where excellent from diagnosis to delivery of the drainage solution. They successfully fitted what I'd call a french drain with pipes and membrane moving the water away from the foundations of the house. At the same time they installed a new mains water pipe replacing our ancient galvanized steel rusted pipework! They were quick, hard working, and easy to work with. I'd love to work with them again, but I've got a feeling unless I move house I certainly won't have any drainage issues thanks to their handwork!.

I called Dorset Property & Drainage Solutions after being let down at by another local company. Romy was friendly and helpful and Darren was able to attend at short notice. A survey showed drains were fine but he found an issue with our down pipes not being connected to the drains. Him and his colleague came back to rectify the situation. They worked extremely hard, returned the patio to a better condition than it had been previously and left everything clean and tidy. Fantastic service!
Darren & Jay came out to carry out a new foul system & land drainage. They discovered a new issue but promptly sorted this. All the work was carried out to a high standard, on time and considering the amount of digging involved everything was put back to a great standard. Would recommend them to anyone, thanks guys!

I had a blocked sewer drain and rang for a visit. They fitted me in at 630 the next morning and resolved the problem within half an hour leaving the site as they found it. Very reasonable price and outstanding customer service from the office. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you.
Only called for advice about a job as outside my area. DPDS were super helpful even though there was no work in it for them.
A recent spell of prolonged heavy rain resulted in much of the large gravelled frontage to our bungalow becoming flooded. I found DPDS by chance when Googling for a local firm who could advise me on options and install the preferred solution quickly. Arrangements were made for a site visit the next morning and a very fair quote was emailed to me the following day. Within days of accepting the quote Darren and Jay made a 'crack of dawn' start on the work that needed doing and arrived equally early on the 2nd day to finish the work. I have no hesitation in recommending DPDS. Communication with the office by phone and email was excellent, Darren and Jay worked exceptionally hard throughout and despite digging a number of long and deep trenches as well as a very large and deep hole to install a sump containing a pump, after they had finished nobody would have been able to see that any work had been done at all. If it were possible to award more thn 5 stars I would have!!
First time we've ever had to call out a company for drain problems so wasn't sure what to expect. However, I can only say thank you for clearing our blocked drains feeding out of our property and tidying up the area where some of the drain contents has came out of the manhole/cover. The two staff who attended were very smart in appearance, were polite and explained what the were going to do. A short time later the problem had been resolved and word of advice given by them to hopefully prevent future problems occuring. Thank you to both of them, and to the lady we spoke to in the office, all of which were spot on. I've given 5 stars as I can not fault them.
This is the third time I have used DPDS to replace manhole covers that were not fit for purpose on a private road in Poole. Each time the work has been carried out with great skill, in a speedy manner and to our complete satisfaction. The engineers were pleasant but professional and are highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend DPDS. Following my enquiry Darren came round early the next morning in order to provide me with a quote which I received that afternoon. Although there was a slight delay to work starting, the fault of the courier not DPDS, I was kept regularly informed/updated by Romy who dealt with everything very efficiently throughout. As I was not on site when the work was carried out, I was given written descriptions of all the work carried out supported by a number of very helpful photographs. More than happy with the service provided and would certainly use DPDS (Darren and Romy) again.

Very bad experience from the lady over the phone. In the middle of the conversation she got another call (on the other phone) & cut my call off. When telephoned back lady was very rude and slammed the phone. Very strange.

We called this company on New Years Day, as we had discovered a blockage in the drains and feared that it would only get worse. The service was very prompt and the gentleman took time to discover where the blockage had occurred checking our neighbours drains as well as ours. My wife and I have been very impressed with the level of outstanding service received from Dorset Property and Drainage Solutions. A few weeks ago Darren came over to our property and sorted out a problem swiftly and to our complete satisfaction. To our surprise, the blocking appeared again, but we knew it wasn't for the same problem as previously Darren had to cut the roots away that had penetrated the lining of the drains. We did have a suspicion that the problem this time could be from one of our neighbours (we have a shared access drive with three properties linked to the same drainage system which has caused problems in the past) but as it turned out, it was of our own doing. Darren came over sorted the problem very early on a Sunday morning, we didn't even know he had been, all done and dusted! But what was more astonishing, Darren didn't even charge us. Called Tuesday afternoon and a lovely lady answered offering 7am the next day. Gentleman turned up 10 minutes prior to have a look. He located the problem and got straight to work. Arrived a few hours after my phone call and cleared a blocked soil pipe in under 30 minutes. When informed by me that I had another manhole but didn't know where it was, came back with a camera and did a survey and found yet another manhole I didn't know I had AND found the root cause of my initial problem. Tree roots in the third manhole. I am sitting here waiting for a tree surgeon to remove the LEYLENDII! and they will be back to remove the roots in a few days. I really can't praise them enough for their prompt, reasonably priced and professional service. Don't go anywhere else!
